  1. Started those X Men Dark Phoenix episodes on season 3. Towards the end of season 2 Wolverine stopped saying meow and now sounds more like an angry Scooby Doo saying reow instead. I keep nda miss the meow because it made me laugh a little every time it happened. Season three has slightly better animation than the previous two seasons and doesn’t have that horrible choppiness going on as much, but still needed better voice acting and dialogue. It’s definitely an improvement since the first couple seasons made The Tick seem like Shakespeare. Still pushing forward but this season is a bit longer than the previous ones. I probably won’t finish by the time 97 pops up
  2. As far as his ride, it may have a few additions but may be essentially the same. At least Batman has half empty boxes. Poor Superman had a couple of mixed boxes that didn’t even have enough cereal combined to make a full bowl
  3. He’s building this guy
  4. Basically I’d trust Amazon over some of the other streaming services. One stinker isn’t that bad of a track record. Disney+ would be a different story. That’s where I’d feel worried about a show popping up, but Amazon isn’t D+
  5. Not really someone I listened to on my own, but I definitely recognize a few of the songs from soundtracks.
  6. They had one that was similar not too long ago that was a sweet chili jam, but it was more jello like and hard to dip the nuggies
  7. So a movie where He Man comes into the real world. Didn’t that kinda already happen? I’m old and forgetting what other toys Mattel put out. I remember a lot of Hasbro and Kenner and eventually Playmates and Mcfarlane, but other than Masters of the Universe related items and Barbs, I’m drawing a blank
  8. I’m gonna look more at Amazon for examples and some of their stuff is pretty great. Sure Rings of Power was as you said a dumpster fire, but Reacher is pretty fun for being kind of a basic television series with a bit of streaming flavor added, The Boys is still one of the best things in the superhero category along with Invincible. I personally think Fallout looks far more promising than Rings of Power and hopefully Amazon has learned from that mistake. Sure there’s a chance for failure, but it looks like a different kind of show. As far as video game adaptations, it looks far better than Halo from p+. And I killed the last of us on Max. I couldn’t think of one on Amazon.
  9. I’m personally getting tired of those. I keep getting suggestions to check out Darth trailer, but those are all fakes.
  10. I tried that sauce the other week and it’s actually pretty good. It leaves a bit of a tingle for a bit afterwards. Not quite as strong as the Mambo sauce did, but more tasty. The only drive through we have up here in Crestline is a McDonald’s and even though I’m not a fan, it’s what we got. I didn’t realize the sauce had a tie in to anything
  11. Licorice recoil happens sometimes. I like that the logo is of a red vine snapping back. Not sure how to make an entire series about a singular candy problem
  12. That’s one thing that really sucks about real world modeling in competition. People get so nitpicky about everything while in the sci fi category someone could just snap a gundam kit together and it has a chance of winning or at least placing if they just put decals on it. There are more people that put mods into their gundams though lately and sometimes those really do get recognized, but at least there’s nobody trying to say that panel line wasn’t in the anime
  13. Modern mecha is all about random junk. The old school stuff was mostly focused on elegant design. Of course there are and always were rule breakers.
  14. I personally am not a fan of the new designs, but I could see how someone unfamiliar would be interested in these. While someone unfamiliar with the tread, would instantly skip it. It’s one of those designs that appeals more to the diehard fan rather than the casual
  15. I don’t think he meant to do it to be rude or to call out any individuals. More as a friendly warning to be cautious and not to cross a line between collector and hoarder
  16. Probably worried it might not sell.
  17. A good set of concert seats and the experience it brings to you and your guests can be worth more than an expensive toy in a box in another box. Have more fun and careful not to overdo the collections. Those shared memories will last longer than plastic
  18. Halo was so bad I forgot to finish it before they pulled the rest of season one off Amazon
  19. Non paint with hg kits usually will leave some things discolored. Most rg kits are pretty good for the lazy. No seams on them and colored parts are already in the right spots. But the hg kits are getting better and better for less and less work. I was recently building the psycho doga hg kit and was surprised that the rifle had no seam lines. The only seam lines are on the lower legs, but those parts were leftover from the old hg geara doga kit. One of the biggest issues with gundam kits in hg are that certain parts are not molded in the right colors, but if you don’t feel like going all out, there are often gundam markers in common gundam colors to fill in those spots. As far as seam filling, you can try the sprue goo method to make your own glue/ putty that will be extremely close to the plastic color since you’re using the actual plastic to fill the gap. It can end up slightly lighter than the base color, but may not be noticeable at all. Just gotta have a few sanding tools, an empty clean small jar and some type of clear cement or something to dissolve plastic from the runners. Nub marks can be an issue as well. To avoid miscoloring the plastic, make sure not to cut too close right away. Then you can sand or file the nub away after. With more practice you can learn how to cut closer to give even less of a nub to clean up. Glass files are pretty good for removing the nubs smoothly without damaging the surrounding plastic and are really inexpensive as far as the panel lining in the article above, they do make pour type panel lining markers now as well that are easy to use. There are other methods like oil pin washes or acrylics, but may need a clear topcoat before use.
  20. Definitely. It’s like a bad experiment with mostly bad results. They should also ditch the cheap looking metallics on the figures
  21. I don’t think it’s even good enough. At least with Macross being more popular than Mospeada and Southern Cross, I’m pretty sure there’s gonna be more options sooner than later
