I personally would love a non transformable 3 in one set in1/144 scale. It would make a neat little display piece. The gundam hcm pro 1/200 figures were a fun series and the Tamara 1/48 votoms were very articulated as well. Both lines had lots of accessories and a lot of detail for the size.

Bandai kits had warnings against the use of lacquer paints on some of the mg kits for the abs parts due to reports of problems with the inner frame. The sinanju original kit was one example that people were reporting on the hobby forums. From what I understand the second release, I believe it was the anime Edition that came with the "paintable frame." On newer kits they use a new formula that is safer for painting. I am not sure if bandai uses that formula on their toys for the abs. Some of the Arcadia owners on the hobby forums that painted them reported fragile parts due to the paints, but that could have been due to other problems. I think the tamiya paints and top coat are acrylic and may be safer, but may rub off easier. On the new 1s hmr I would like to see how the arrow decals from a 1/100 kit would look on the head, If other people report no problems with the top coat i will try it out From my experience the testors lacquer dull coat is usually a fine product, maybe the best product testors has made. Their top coat seams to be slightly less aggressive on plastics than mr hobby, so it may be safer to use.

I know bandai has improved their hard abs plastics on recent model kits, but I sometimes worry on their toys. In the past lacquer paints and primers caused abs to become brittle like on the first gen mg sinanju. As far as I can see from examples the hmr line spears to take these paints well. An acrylic dull coat may be safer, but would probably run off with continued play. Damn spell check. Spears was gonna be apears.

If you don't leave the item you top coat alone long enough it will feel tacky. Likewise if the wrong kind of top coat is used with certain plastics it may never completely dry.

Hlj just sent some items I had from my private warehouse. Waited about 4 days from fedex, but there have been times I have waited several weeks for delivery. Maybe you could see if your package has tracking or you could contact the seller for info.

Bandai has done several re releases of web shop exclusives. Usually gundam stuff like the model kits, but they have done them with other lines like the robot spirits bilbine dark blue last episode version.

Sorry I meant to include robot spirits as well in my previous comment. My point is they regularly rerelease different products not jus the ones I have mentioned.

With a lot of bandai products they do a second run, even on exclusives. If you wait you may get a far better deal than what's out now. I don't think dunbine is as popular of a series but bandai has done second and even third releases on their sh figuarts products.

I was checking my 1j(1s has it shown up I the mail.) the landing gear bay door at the front looks like it could fit an integrated mechanism, but I would have to agree with some that it would probably be too flimsy of a gimmick and would probably just be sad.

I didn't realize my spell check would change gerwalk into cereal.

Does anybody know if these are fix pose kits for the battroid and cereals. They look cool form the pics, lots of panel lines.

i honestly think the gimmick for the integrated heat shield At that scale would end up too fragile. The shield itself would also end up paper thin. The landing gear would be nice though, but those issues don't bother me much. The look of this product out weighs any negatives I have heard so far. Can't wait for the regult, glaug and destroids.

I honestly think the heat shield swap is a small sacrifice for such a good looking battroid, but some landing gear would be nice. Gonna get a stand for fighter mode and maybe mod an attachment box for hands and canopy/heat shield or stand attachments. That way the parts won't be away from the figure itself.

I think the glaug may turn out even harder to get a pre order, unless they raise the production amounts. The glaug is the macross equivalent to boba fett from star wars or chars zaku from gundam or whatever from whatever.

I have the new 1j and the hands come in3 sizes. The medium size hands look perfect to me, but the larger hands look more like the art pictures when the armor is on.

I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes after shipping and tax, but when buying multiple items the savings codes are $5,15,25 off. I guess the savings would depend on if they had other items of interest.

I stumbled on here while searching for her news. Anyway on gg infinite they have the Roy 1s for $120 U.S.. They also have a holiday sale so if there's anything else available of interest there is some potential for savings. Stupid spell check I was trying to write hmr news not her news.
