  1. Everytime I see YF-22, I get my hopes up, and then I remember I don't live in the universe where Bodolza nuked the Eath. Guess that's a plus.
  2. While I hope the trinity did find peace on the other side, I also can't help but wish for a series where the universe they crossed into turned out to be the devlin-verse. And they had to fight the proto-devlin off with thermonukes before eventually teaching them Minmay's song.
  3. Hey, I recently discovered podcasts being served up by Spotify (which I'm a subscriber to). I'm not sure what's entailed with uploading to Spotify, but could you guys look into it? It makes it super easy to listen and continue listening on all my devices in a synchronized manner. Anyways, thanks as always.
  4. Well the original art style owes a lot to the rotoscoping methods that filmation used as a mean of maximizing reuse of cells and minimizing design costs. A holdover from their Lord of the Rings efforts, which lended it self just fine to mass producing toys. Im fine with this as long as we get good stories. Especially if it leads to her finding out about her family. In fact, at the moment I have more confidence in this than in the announced Goyer script for the He-man movie.
  5. Looks pretty good. Not sure if I'm in for the price, but then again genuine Lego block is plastic gold. Now as Lego custom builder, I am curious about why they didn't use the ball joints from the Lego mixels for the individual lion legs. There have been quite a few custom Voltron's out there which appear to have greater articulation. It seems that they really wanted to nail the classic look versus having greated mobility.
  6. An RT coleco game machine? Hmm, depending on the price point might be best to just root these suckers, install mame, and get Macross DYRL running on them instead. As seen on: http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/rainbow-brite-and-robotech-coming-to-coleco-evolved-mini-arcades/
  7. They also did a lot of Street Fighter based promotions. I guess tweeting it isn't that expensive a form of advertising, but it is interesting:
  8. The mechs remind me of the nirvash types from Eureka7, which Kawamori designed, correct? Also, never trust the attractive lady that seems to be running things. Unless they’re name starts with an M, they’re probably up to no good.
  9. Wow that Claudia and Misa. I mean, maybe even I could pull off something that gloriously bad. Jeez. I almost feel sorry for the artists. I bet they feel honored or lucky to have that gig, but oh man, they did ever choose the wrong franchise to try to out illustrate.
  10. The shot with the Aliens figures makes it look like they were made specifically to look like LV-426.
  11. I remember how pissed Snape was with Dumbledore about putting Harry in the impossible positions of having to take down Voldemort in The Deathly Hallows flash backs. That really made me respect Snape and look at him as the unsung hero of the series. At least Harry recognized Snape’s sacrifices and Mamés his son after him.
  12. He made more of his life with its limitations, than most of us could conceive. I actually got to attend a public talk he gave when I was in college. What I never expected was his great sense of humor.

Yeah, it's EXO. He also has a twitter account going. You can message him and ask to be put on his emailing list. https://twitter.com/plasticcretins
  14. Wait, so he approved of the "Ikenai Borderline" lyrics, what with all the, umm, climaxes?!
  15. My entire LEGO philosophy is that there should be a toy version of everything I'm into and if it doesn't exist, then I should probably make it. One of my other loves is fighting videos games such as Street Fighter and the Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers) series. I can't get enough of the animations and quick action. Life doesn't really afford me the chance to play through something like the latest Wolfenstein with little ones running around, so fighting games that aren't Mortal Kombat are great, quick entertainment. I don't think that I have shared the following here before, so here is a little of what I've put together: https://www.flickr.com/photos/18239022@N00/albums/72157680021630454 Phobos/Huitzil is really a great mech design. There is an infinite level of anime magic that goes into his and Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei's attacks. The animation in the Darkstalkers really is something else. https://www.flickr.com/photos/18239022@N00/albums/72157682928186050/with/34402483364/ I feel like I am reaching a limit on how close I can approximate the looks of these figures so I'm pondering customizing some Marvel figs to get closer to stuff from the games. Still it's been fun and I have a few left to finish off before I can post more which means a few more lots to buy off of bricklink.
  16. Question is this episode of the podcast spoiler-iffic? I know, that sounds like a stoopid question, especially since we've all seen the series, but if there are big changes from the show, that might lead to big things, will they be spoiled in the cast?
  17. So it has begun... Anyone have a really, really deep bomb shelter where I could chill for the next year or so?
  18. Nice! Masters of the Universe along side the Street Fighter (Storm collectibles) figures. Oh yeah, the HM-R is nice too...

Whoever put those dioramas together deserves a prize. So much awesome there.
  21. And the laughs continue! It's all about execution Sony!
  22. @anubis20 Nice street fighter figs. I hope you plan on opening them up. I'm considering some myself as I'm knee deep in Street Fighter V at the moment. Do you have the Chun-Li and Ryu by chance?
  23. I've actually paid for a SPARKART macross moc. 2 years back at MWCon I saw his Regult and thought I just needed to have it. Nice little piece.
