  1. I won't lie, I googled around for KO's, and have yet to find any of anything not 1/55 or from Macross7 - not on eBay, Alibaba, or just now on TaoBao English. There's Gundam KO's a plenty, but not for Macross, which I guess is some indication of where the franchise lies in popularity if bootleggers don't want to take a risk to produce them.
  2. My latest (near complete) MOC. Coming up with those legs took some thought. Actually, I think it might be my best work yet. Still need to source some more green parts - the thick round circles that make up the missile bubbles are not cheap, few bricklink stores have a pair for under $3 each!
  3. Woohoo! Such a great show. Definitely want to see what happens next in the character arcs. I almost care more about these characters than the stuff in the movies!
  4. Holy frickin' wow! Inspired!!
  5. Nice, yeah not sure why TLG didn't got with that design in the first place on this UCS set. I try to design my MOCs to use the least number of parts that get's closest to the line art/spec, but that's, trying to keep my bricklink spending down.
  6. This is from Exo, right? That is awesome. Wonder how much it will be. Also, as I wonder if there's anyway of getting a Friends-style mini doll version.
  7. Regarding playing SF anything on the go, I highly recommend the iFBA emulator, even on an iOS device. I've been playing all the various Capcom fighters for years on my phone and the implementation of onscreen controls is at least as good as the official SFIV game that came out years ago. There is nothing like playing the real SF series on the go. There are already videos of iFBA running on the Switch, which means you can have you hadouken and senpukyaku too.
  8. I gotta play some more VF-X2 to get to know this bird. Fuerza Milkautico!
  9. Exciting times indeed! I had wondered what had happened with Save's MOSPEADA related announcement from a year ago. Ride armor transformations are always tricky, and my CMS's Yellow also has issues holding a pose. I hope this improves on that in lots of ways, and that we get a Houquet.
  10. Interesting, the Friends blimp set seems to have a a curved purple windscreen for the bottom of the gondola. I use these for my Gurab, but they haven't been available in purple. The Friends line really has increased the color pallet and I gotta say I'm much more a fan of the "doll" style minifigs. The Nexo purple mech also ads more purple. I might just get a purple Lego gurab form these parts in the future at some point then. I have been considering getting some used Mega Blok Halo stuff, but really would rather not. The mech's fingers are made our of a new type of slope piece I haven't seen before. Always good to get new Lego elements. EDIT: Should have said, Elves, instead of Friends, but both lines were introduced close to each other.
  11. Thanks! I will be making improvements as I get more parts in. That and time are really the limiting factors. Some of my techniques are 'illegal' in that they put more stress on the parts used than The LEGO Group advises.
  12. A comment on the Facebook post implies it does! That's gotta be a bit nerve racking. Good thing you can always just slap LEGO back together.
  13. Some more work-in-progress MOCs to share. All the rain in Southern California has kept me from surfing, which has made me a little crabby. LEGO has been my outlet. I'm Eager to show these off:
  14. Oh man. That sucks. I actually love the original BSG and thought he did a good job in the original role.
  15. Decided to take a stab at an Inbit using what I've learned recently from messing around with Bionicle and CCBS system parts. I'd consider this a version 1.0. Sadly the parts I want to use are not available in Purple, Dark Blue was the closest fit: Some more finished pics of my version 2.0 Spartas and Bioroid:
  16. God I hope not. I hated the whole time traveling, Xindi war arc in Enterprise. The rest, that expanded on original series ideas, was quite good on occasion. I recall hearing a quote from someone working on Discovery that they would not be falling back on time travel as a plot device within the first season.
  17. Maybe I'll stay off the forums when the new show hits. The waves of complaints and general backlash against Delta didn't make it easier to enjoy the show, which I generally did after all.
  18. You can almost see their tails swishing. I won't say wagging. They might not take kindly to that and I wouldn't want to piss 'em off. Good for you! It's not about having the most toys before dying, but getting the *right* ones. Specially, when we never got them as kids.
  19. Awesome! I'd be tempted to leave it in gerwalk mode. Do you plan to transform it in the future? How do you think it will hold up? More importantly, what's all the high level linear algebra stuff it's hovering over, fold equations I hope.
  20. It would be sad if there were no kit forthcoming especially since there hasn't been any HMR+VF4 related news.
  21. Inhumanoids was the only cartoon that actually scared me as a kid. Little did I know it was basically channeling Lovecraft.
  22. I would say we are experiencing a Golden Age of genre everything, but television in particular. GoT, Walking Dead(s), Westworld, everything on Netflix. We're spoiled at the moment.
