    Whoa, CRTs?! They still get used plenty with old-school 2D fighting game tournament because of the need to minimize input latency on screens and the fact old hardware lacks modern ports display ports. There are some very expensive mini-boards that translate analog to digital signals but they are still expensive. Do you do speed runs and such?

    I wasn't aware of those Nvidia MX150 integrated graphics cards. Very appealing since I don't do much high-end gaming and really only need something about as good as what a PS4 has inside.

    Dang! Now I need that to come to laptop under $1500. That card seems like a shot across the bow of AMD leading up to the debut of the next-gen consoles.

    Babymetal? How do you say chocolate in Zentran? Honestly, after reading Kawamori’s statement in the latest interview put out by the decultureshock crew, I’m less optimistic of a series at all and think we might only just get a second delta movie before Macross get’s mothballed until the next build up of nostalgia forces another round say in 2024 or thereabouts. Though a new movie was greenlit, I’m kinda taken aback that he still had to shop he idea around. I mean it he had to work to secure funding for something as successful as Delta, what with the concerts and all, it just feels like a series would be many years off.

    Is it just me or do these transformation videos make you nervous. Thankfully these are new toys and not some 30-year old brittle plastic. Every time I hear a snap my heart skips a beat.

    I’d also put in a vote for retro arch. It has touch screen support and seems to try to be a good front end for emulators of the various systems on mobile devices. Configuration beyond the defaults can be complex though.

    Regarding the "How it should have ended" vid, I so wish the MCU would have at least featured one or tow cameos from the Netflix show. Up until the vid starts showing non-Marvel characters, I would have totally gone for. To me it's a perfect opening to start including other characters beyond those that have been in the core MCU, such as the X-Men and Fantastic 3. I know it won't happen, but really wish it did. Onto Phase 4 then... Oh, yeah, I hate to see Donnie sad too.

    Whoa there, them’s fighting words! With regards to Bandai’s release schedule, I gotta say I do think everything we’ve seen will get released. If you look at their unreleased SHMonster Arts Godzilla like, they have like 30 more to go and I think they will also release all of them.

    Our LGTV allowed us to do the choose your own adventure selection while the kids were watching a Minecraft related cartoon so I expect it’ll work with this. Haven’t tried it tho. I’m a BM fan, but the kids rule the living room tv. Might have to watch this on a computer.

    There's comments on various cables on Amazon where they do not support the maximum throughput if they are also powering a device. I recently had to buy a USB-C cable and went looking and more than a few cables had such complaints.

    I wonder if they got ahold of the molds for the 1/72 kits and plan and assembling the pieces together into some sort of complete toy. Might still be worth it if that included full tampo and the assembly held.

    Off-topic observation, downvote at will: The fact that aliexpress and taobao now exist and that there are small toy design outfits cropping up like Kitz Concept, Captain America, and MAAS toys gives me a strange kind of hope. Like we are headed into a golden age of niche toy production where even things as obscure as Southern Cross are finally getting their due. Production is now almost always not being done in Japan and those shops have an online presence and no embargo can prevent us from getting our mitts on the stuff we've always craved. Now if only Evolution or someone (Bandai please!) would release some 1/6th Mospeada character figs with articulation...

    While this entry was a disappointment on a number of levels, I enjoyed some aspects. I’d still put it behind Predators though which I thought kept a lot of the tension and atmosphere of the original. Regarding Black though, I think he can do good stuff, such as Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. But yeah as the kids say nowadays, “this ain’t it Chief”.
