  1. Just received an email from hlj. They state that it is likely that the Kshatriya will be available for preorder again. No information when this will be though.
  2. So today I fiddled with my Masterpiece Bluestreak. It is very cool and I think he sold me on the Lambor mold. I normally collect repaints but Red Alert doesn't do it for me and G2 Sideswipe looks cool (the black paint should prevent the paint issue from the first issue) but I don't dig the accessories and the G2 logo. So I guess Lambor here we go. I still fish they where a head bigger because I can do without the Convoy trailer gimmick. Not I have to decide if I like the Soundblaster enough to preorder it and get the four cassettes from Soundwave to have all bases covered.
  3. *cough cough* http://www.nippon-yasan.com/lang-en/gundam/6309-robot-damashii-side-ms-kshatriya.html *cough cough*
  4. Well you could just you know make something up. Like for me I justified buying in the Robot Damashii line to collect only Unicorn models to have my Unicorn collection realized with RDs.
  5. Oh it is. Damn it how could I've missed that? Well never mind my comment about ordering from amiami.
  6. Some advice for the VF-171. when you transform it remember that the canopy area snaps into the backplate with a click. Only that way it will be stable in Battroid-Mode. When it doesn't snap into position then the tip of the nosecone is in the way. There are other points but I just noticed that you have the Alto version so no worries about breaking shoulder pieces. Be careful however because there're many small parts that could break. The VF-25 Renewals are the much better toys imho. They are solid and easy to transform and just look great.
  7. I tend to say yes. You should check out some reviews of Robot Damashii Gundam UC figures. Wait a sec.... http://www.collectiondx.com/toy_review/rubber/sinanju http://www.collectiondx.com/toy_review/2012/unicorn_gundam_banshee_destroy_mode I have the Unicorn and the Sinanju and they are pretty cool, Lots of accessories (some Robot Damashii figures have a very minimal accessory count though), many moving parts on the figure and highly articulated. For me the Kshatriya is a tad too pricey but this thing will be massive so I will go for it despite the price tag. If you can order it through hlj you normally get a discount on preorders. At the moment it is priced at about 11000 Yen so you save 15%. So this helps a little bit. Or course it depends if you can order it. Amiami usually offers a bigger discount but I can't find the Kshatriya there at the moment. Hope that helps.
  8. So the Kshatriya is up for preorder over at hlj but already on order stop. Did someone had the chance to order or is it just a placeholder? I ask the order department of hlj yesterday if they are planning on stocking this figure but they weren't sure about that. It strikes me a bit odd that is is already on order stop so I assume it is a placeholder. However it could be another outbreak of Bandai Preorder Madness (BPM).
  9. The only thing I did to setup my PS3 was to plug the ethernet cable into the console. The rest was done automatically. Maybe you need some points to approve (it was the first thing I did when I bought my PS3). Normally it should be an easy thing to do but be prepared to update your PS3s firmware after the first connection. That can take a while depending on the patch size and your connection speed. As for the patch: normally the game checks automatically if a patch is available when you start the game and then forces you to update the game before playing. That can be quite annoying when you bought a new game and then have to wait some time to start actually playing. That are the miracles of this new technology I guess.
  10. Sorry this doesn't excite me in anyway. Maybe because I don't like the look, maybe because I have already payed for three members of the Feral Rex team. The legs look wobbly but that might be due to the prototype status. Besides that they look like folded up robots and I like the extra step MMC took in transforming the legs and hiding the crotch of the leg-bots. I would preferred it if the lower legs would collapse inward to make the animal legs a bit slimmer. On TFCs the torso also looks very unbalanced with the small waist and the long arms. I prefer the smaller arms on Ares however because the MMC forearms are again too wide for my tastes due to the rear animal legs not folding into the arms pieces. Also the Ares looks terrible busy with all the details, edges and cavities. That says something because MMCs style has also a manifold of this design elements. Overall I prefer the MMC version but if this image makes you happy good for you. I'm terribly biased because I have Bovis on my desk!
  11. I'm just gonna pay the YF-30 in advance and deal with the YF-19 when it's released. Not passing out on this one because then all I need will be the VF-25G Tornado Parts.
  12. I have the issue that the lower legs don't stay attached to the backplate very well. The leg packs peg in into the wings and thus pushing the legs together resulting in secure connection. I think the backplate is extended all the way because the arms are pegged in position and I'm not sure how I should rotate the legs differently.
  13. Just received my Fast Packs and I really like how they help the legs to stay attached in Fighter-Mode. Now I need to find some stickers.
  14. On my copy there is not really stress on the legs. The bar just prevents that the gun-pod doesn't falls out. My VF-25S holds together without the part but can't hold the gun-pod. That said I haven't displayed my Armored Messiah in Fighter-Mode (too big for my display cabinet) for a longer period of time. However I'm interested if anyone knows something about that topic.
  15. I know I know but it has to be smoothed out and primed and painted and detailed up and in a way so it is not noticeable when looking at the plane. I have some modeling experience so I'm 100% certain that I cannot achieve this. Your model looks great though but my hopes are that Arcadia will include this head if they are reissuing the VF-4.
  16. Thank god they redid the terrible connector piece form the first issue. What is he pointing out with the image where the head antenna is pushed out of its mount? Does it mean that the missile pods have a clearance issue with the antenna or that his antenna suffers from a defect?
  17. They will ship them together once the RVF parts are released. I ordered the YF-29 and the Super Parts together and they where shipped when the Super Parts where available. I also ordered the two sets together and haven't gotten any notice for the VF-25G parts. Hope that helps.
  18. I think the V1 YF-19 had a nice Gerwalk-Mode when it comes to the leg position. Hopefully Arcadia has designed different ankles for the new YF-19. And seeing the VF-171 this Valkyrie has in my opinion the best ankles of them all. They are gorgeous!
  19. Am I the only one that thinks that those look more like the VF-11?
  20. Now having seen a image of the box I think it is ok but I find the boxes of Bandais more pleasing. I don't like the plain font of the text and the contrast between the black and the yellow is too strong. Something about the Bandai boxes just hits the right spot for me.
  21. I think all the Bandai Frontier Valkyries look amazing in Gerwalk-Mode at least to me. I think it is a combination of the lanky legs and the ankle joint that allow for a good look. I usually bend the legs forward at the knee joint as much as possible to achieve the best look. I'd love to see some more sideways motion in the ankles so the toy can achieve a wider A-stance but for that there is the stand. They are just a pleasure to look at. Arcadia take some notes here!
  22. That can only mean that the invoice of hlj will soon be in my inbox. That is sweet! Too bad it will stay in the warehouse until the Hikaru VF-1S is released.
