    I've only seen Macross 2 with the terrible English dub. Do you think I will enjoy Macross 2 more with no subtitles at all and a Japanese voice track given that I don't understand any Japanese?

    Arcadia should make toys for this show. I would buy a pose able Bill Willcox with shiny die-cast armor in a heart beat.

    The most Renewal Valkyries I see on ebay are above or around the $250 mark and it really is only the VF-25F that are being sold for a lower price. Keep in mind that Altos ride is the only one where Bandai released a reissues so there are much more units around. Mandarake has some of the VF-25F for MSRB. So my guess it that the people try to sell off additional units that they got during the Renewal craze. I think most of them could be scalpers that couldn't get rid of their stock. Maybe the market is finally cooling down to a more normal level. However with the preorder madness of the YF-29 Ozma Custom in mind I guess it will take a while until the we get to normal preorder periods with the Renewal stuff. In general I think the market was extremely overheated and is not going back to normal but a wise man once said to never discuss economics over the Internet so I leave it at that and dust off my Renewal collection.

    The leg parts that fold into half and store on the wings look great. Maybe HasTak should take notes next time they design a airborne Transformer.

    Since this thread is already delicious off topic I want to add that Lego has to reissue the huge Millenium Falcon Set that is in scale with the mini figs. The prices on e-bay and the amazon market place are just too damn high *insert meme here*.

    There is a slot in the wing that can mount a peg in the Fast Pack. On mine it pegs in well and it helps to keep the legs attached to the backpack because it applies pressure to the peg. The legs are secure enough so I can swoosh around with it.

    I thought Bandai would only announce new items at their own events like the Tamashii Nations stuff or the Gunpla Expo.

    Maybe because no one cares for Macross Zero. Or because it's easier to design a Valkyrie to look screen accurate when it is based on a existing 3D-Model. No one knows! *du dudu du dudu*

    You could check a few video review for the VF-19 line from guys here on the board like jenius (http://www.anymoon.com) or veef (http://www.collectiondx.com). I think you will have an pretty good idea what to expect from the new YF-19 after you saw those. The hips seem to be pretty different on the YF-19 but the rest seems kinda similar.

    So now that the CAD is out can we tell that there will be a easy conversion into a VF-0S/A? Personally I would be more interested in the reissues from Arcadia instead of the VF-0. No news about a VF-1S Max or VF-1A Kakizaki or the Super/Strike-Packs?

    I like to have a collection that tells a complete story. My M7 collection is missing a VF-11C and Milias VF-1J with the black highlights. Then I have a complete collection. My Macross Frontier colleciton is missing the YF-30. And so on and so on. SDF:M and DYRL are easy because the only have one Valkyrie.

    Everytime I see images of a robot that transforms into an aircraft that doesn't show the underside of the plane I get highly suspicious. The robot mode shows nothing from the top and/or the front of the plane so I have to assume that it will look like the TFC not Silverbolt. So do they call this Skyfire or Jetfire? I guess I wait for the Fans Toys images.I would love to have a Masterpiece Skyfire as he looked in the cartoon.

    I'm sure Arcadia would love to offer it for less if they could manage to sell more units and broaden the fan base. But that ain't gonna happen.

    Just finished up my Super Parts with the tiny arrow stickers from the VF-1S sheet that Arcadia included. Used MJs images as reference for placement (thanks for providing them). Now it finally feels complete. I hope Arcadia will never ever listen to a designer when deciding if the Valkyrie should have the minimum of markings it had in the anime.

    Just watched a video review for this toy and I have to see it is terrible. It has some nice stuff going for like the chromed parts, some of the molded parts or the rubber tires. BUT since it is basically a shell former and only the front wheels are part of the robot mode it is terrible hollow and it shows. From the video I got the feeling that this toy handles like a cheap knock-off because the plastic is so thin and the toy is so light. However I still hope it sells well so HasTak has enough play money to develop new Classics style figures and continue with the Masterpiece line but this toy is not for me. [edit:] On a second thought I think the problem lies in the movie designs of the Transformers. Optimus Prime transforms somehow into his bot mode without any logic behind (other then a Valkyrie) but with many moving parts. This lends itself very well for complex toys like RotF Leader Prime but not for toys aimed at small kids.

    I don't know about that. Until now the Super VF-27 was the only bundled Valkyrie from Bandai and I assume the reasoning behind that was that it was stoll a V1 base toy. Even the reissue of the VF-25F has no bundle so I think that if the Tornado Parts are coming that they will be Tamashii Shop exclusive add-on sets just like the others. Of course Bandai can surprise us all (in a good way not like the preorder shenanigans for Ozmas YF-29).

    In my opinion the standard Super Parts are not good enough for Ozma. Bandai should design new one that are much bulkier and that have much more missiles and bigger thrusters.
