  1. Finally! I will get the Michael set and my Skull Squadron will be complete. Hm so what to do with my VF-25G Super Parts.... they look great so maybe I will play dress-up once and a while.
  2. I also got mine from hlj at a discount. So they are ok desk candy for the price I paid. However I'm still disappointed compared to other toy lines that have the same price range and/or design behind them. Mainly talking about Figmas, Robot Damashii, S.H.Figuarts or some of the Transformers stuff.
  3. Well the reason I choose the RG is that it is similar in the built to the MG and it was cheap so I figured why not. Thanks for the advice with the stickers. Maybe I will post some pictures of the RG when I'm finished.
  4. I'm also tempted but I came to the conclusion that it would be to difficult to trim the stickers so that they look good. Maybe I will try it with the waterslide decals from my Arcadia VF-1 but then I have to get a decal setter/softener and to clear coat the tail fins so that they look again.... ... so maybe not.
  5. I have the three M+ Valkyries and I don't really like them. My YF-21 is missing a second yellow coat for the marking on the head cowl so it looks like it has a greenish marking. Every time I try to pose the toys I'm disappointed that the range of movement and the joints are that limited. I also question the gimmick that you can interchange the parts of the different Valks. The parts always split apart during handling. I really like Bandais Robot Damashii toys they are fun to play with. The GNU-DOs not so much. I won't be opposed to a reboot of the line because implemented correctly they could be great but I just can't see them to that any time soon.
  6. So I'm building my first Gunpla set the RG Destiny Gundam. Unfortunately I forgot to order the brown panel lining pen so the gray one has to suffice. However I have a few questions. I want to clear coat it. Do I put the stickers on before or after the clear coat? I have the MG Nu Gundam in the backlog. The RG is more or less a training dummy so I don't screw up the MG completely. The Nu Gundam has water transfer decals. When do I put does on. Before the clear coat, after or in between? Thanks in advance.
  7. Phew now I'm glad that I didn't order this release because this face is ridiculous. I'm much happier with the regular Lambor.
  8. The reason why I love the UCS Millennium Falcon is that he is in scale with the Minifigs. I also like that it is built mostly out of "standard" Lego Bricks. I don't like some of the newer sets that consists mostly out of bricks that are cast into shape specific for this set. The UCS Millennium Falcon is some sort of a holy grail for me because the after market prices are ridiculous. The only thing I would dig more than the Falcon would be a Ebon Hawk that is in scale with the Minifigs. With a figure that looks like my hero from the KotoR.
  9. Delicious sweets? He is probably talking about the two Max&Miria VF-1J that appear in SDF:M.
  10. I know but I would like to have a Skywarp based on the MP-11 Mold for robot-mode. I have the MP-6 Skywarp and he stays in alt-mode all the time because of hip kibble.
  11. Where is MP-11 Skywarp? Honestly where is he? The seeker mold cast in black would look ace.
  12. No I haven't but the sailing part is intriguing to me. The problem is that I have so many games I planned on playing and now they just sit there. I recently tried playing Dishonored after I bought it at release but I couldn't even get past the first room without alerting the guards and I lost interest in it. Maybe I come back to it later. In general I'm not that much of a gamer anymore. Maybe that is something that comes with age. Don't get me wrong I still love playing a good video game but it takes a really specific experience to get absorbed in. I probably played to much WoW and now I'm scarred for live. I tried the f2p version of ToR but after I realized that I have to pay money to hide the head slot I lost interest quickly. On the other hand maybe I should start the game up since I read all the new posts on the message boards I attend to. [edit:] On the other hand I got Dungeon Keeper from GoG for free so I will start this one up instead.
  13. So after 16 years I finally finished Ocarina of Time. All the attempts before ended at the final boss and I lost interest in the game. This week I pulled myself together. Now onwards to Wind Waker the best Zelda game in the series. This one I finished multiple times. Probably should post this in the Retro Gaming thread.
  14. It is called nostalgia! I will be going back to my troll den soon. I guess they could have delivered the message in the original Robocop directly by speaking it out to you. There are movies that do this and some, like Robocop, let the audience to the guessing. So by this standards someone could argue that the message in Robocop is subtle.
  15. On the NY Toy Fair images I saw something that looks like a new take on the Lego Star Wars 6211 Star Destroyer. Maybe there is hope for a reissue/re-imagining of the older stuff especially the Ultimate Collector's Millenium Falcon.
  16. I have one question. Why does the gray plastic looks always terrible on HasTaks Transformers? MP-11 and MP-08 from Takara have this terrible swirly plastic and the one on this Hasbro Grimlock looks terribly cheap and translucent. It could be the lighting but is it difficult to cast a good locking gray toy?
  17. You should have commissioned a custom Karaoke Ninja paint job.
  18. So after skimming through all the images I have to say the only TF4 toy that does anything for me is this metallic Grimlock. The Jetfire toy looks pretty cool I wonder if they release a black repaint in Japan as they did with the Classics Jetfire toy. I'm still curious about the back of the bot. Am I the only one that thinks that Prime/Convoy has to have a faceplate?
  19. Thank you for the clarification.
  20. Oh it was much better experience than watching the dubed Macross 2 OVA. I just love the VF-2 Valkyries even if they where not designed by Kawamori and I like the female squad around Sylvie Gena. I've listened to the latest Macross Speaker Podcast a while ago but didn't you guys mentioned that Kawamori himself said that Macross 2 is now official "canon"? Does this fact and the release of this Blu-Ray box set indicate that Macross 2 will become more recognized in Japan... ..ultimately leading to Arcadia releasing a VF-2SS Valkyire II SAP? The SAP System would offer so much play value.
  21. Hm never seen Clash of the Bionoids but DYRL was ok. Please don't kill me.
  22. Hm the bottom of the plane looks cleaner than I would've expected. I'm interested in knowing if the back of the robot-mode is made out of aircraft kibble. Oh I'm looking through the images over at TFW and I don't like anything I've seen until now. I will look through the rest of the images maybe I find something interesting. The toys on the images Twoducks posted look ok but all the TF4 stuff I've seen looks terrible. At least to me. [edit:] The Construct Bot Grimlock looks kinda cool. Or what ever this is. It says Roughtneck Dino
  23. From what I've seen of the other designs that passed the first stage I think that the Valkyrie would offer the most play value (I'm not biased at all! ).
