Max and Milia Hi Metals. Post man just delivered Max a few minutes ago. Milia was sitting in its shipping box for like 3 weeks. Was waiting to unpack both of them together. Milia is sealed. Max was listed as used and box damaged with missing piece. The missing was the neck filler piece but it is installed on the battroid. For 10000 yen it is very good. This morning just nabbed a VT-1. Hope to have it in hands next week. Now I'm only down to the VF-4G.

I'd assume any first-hand information about the questionable spelling probably vanished when Takatoku Toys went bankrupt and its assets were sold off. It's doubtful the people working on it expected to have native English speakers checking their spelling down the road. Odds are they didn't have anyone fluent in English and just sounded it out as best they could. The show's creators probably couldn't give them much useful guidance there either, since they seem to have initially done the same and spelled it "ICHIJOH" in the TV series artbooks and "ICHIJYO" in the animation itself before finally correcting it to ICHIJO in the movie. That's not surprising, given that the re-release was a reproduction of the original toy "warts and all"... but the packaging.

That’s funny, never noticed it, but we were just having a discussion about the spelling differences on the Plamax kits from Max factory since the box art for the Battroid 1/72 kit has it spelled Ichijo and the included decals have it as Ichijyo

They usually include them in web exclusives. I think the bigger question is if it available on the U.S. site

Just a couple quick bits of info: * The resin used is an ABS-like, which I've found to be good for this kind of project. * The parts in the photos and video Christopher posted above are just as they came off the printer, with no cleanup. I've got to where I hate sanding bits so I've designed this set to require as little prep as possible.
