  1. Past hour
  2. I think that Amazon USA website lists the item as releasing on May 22, 2024. So take this with a grain of salt, as I have no idea how official this date may be. Twich
  3. Today
  4. I have one of the original Threezero Patlabor figures, and it gets an A grade from me. Even has fabric joint covers that look good. Hefty, solid, poseable, gimmicks, hits all the right notes. Only company I've been more impressed with is CCS (specifically their Gurren Lagann, which is amazing)
  5. Is it shot angles or does it seem they went back to the original "skinny" leg regult and also reduced the size of the small and large missile attachments? The original teased attachments look larger to me....and the small missile pods looks different too...
  6. Vinyl collectors get fleeced... I'll never understand it. It's like the hardest core niche of the fandom.
  7. Pretty good. I guess the stand is universal for all. LOL
  8. I have a few Threezero items, and their construction & engineering is great, with smart use of metal in places to give a nice feeling of heft without compromising durability or posability. They usually punch above their price point compared to established Japanese brands like Bandai. From what I see online here and there, there's very little quality issues on modern Threezero products, but as with other brands, sometimes it does rear its head and its usually due to tolerances errors rather than outright engineering or design incompetence. Was expecting reviews to have start to come out based on previous info of April release, but their latest update is that release have been pushed to this month. So, anytime now I guess.
  9. Yup the multitude of apps these days makes it fun to experiment with different effects.. The pic is mainly a blended image of the original pic & a cartoon filter of itself, hence the additional warbly lines.
  10. Haha truly forgotten about that. These days I find this scheme nicer than when it first came out. Perhaps it's just something different after seeing lots of canon VF-1s lately.
  11. That can’t be the real price can it? That’s gotta be a typo.
  12. So how is this set? I just couldn't pull the trigger on a short-lived version of Psylocke plus a Wolverine I really didn't want.
  13. A real Rebels pilot squadron show (with Paul Sun-Hyung Lee FINALLY saying, “Okay, see you!”). A droid squad series (like I’ve jokingly mentioned way back on another Star Wars thread). An actual underworld series where the main character is allowed to do “bad” things (though Andor kinda dances on the fringes of that idea). A comedy show with some stormtroopers (think that silly bit with the two biker scouts that had to hold onto Grogu). I think the main key for any new series is to step away from the Force for a LONG while. I still want to see what happens with the characters from Ahsoka and that time period. But that’s it. Also, would it kill Disney and Hasbro to coordinate so we don’t have to wait so damn long to get figures in the 3.75” scale?
  14. That 's my Alaska VF-1A. I don't know where to find proper decals on HMR scale. I had to use decals from Robotech RPG game. Please help I need more decals for other customs I'm making Thanks
  15. I've been waiting my entire life for a good representation of the Spartas Hover Tank. Take your time, there's no rushing perfection. We can wait a little bit longer for another masterpiece.
  16. So... if there's a Most Improved award for an anime season, HIGHSPEED Etoile might be in the running. The director and animators seem to have finally figured out how to animate a race in an exciting and visually appealing manner. If everything else weren't still horrible, I'd almost believe it was a completely different show. It's not exactly a dignified plot twist that the protagonist Rin Rindo suddenly goes from propping up the bottom of the rankings to the middle of the pack as a result of...
  17. The fatigue is indeed real. Your example is a fantastically appropriate one. The Star Wars franchise is encountering exactly the same kind of audience fatigue that Star Trek did in the late 90's and early 00's, and the Disney execs overseeing it are making the same mistakes that the Paramount execs who flew Star Trek into the ground did. They have a formula that worked well and are unwilling to consider deviating from it even as it becomes increasingly stale and uninteresting. They've got an enormous and highly versatile setting but a very narrow view of the kind of stories that are appropriate to tell in that setting, Maybe the Star Wars writers feel hemmed in by the second word in the title... everything has to come back to a war. (Not that Star Trek learned its lesson either... they just waited until the fatigue wore off and went back to doing exactly what they were doing before.)
  18. Great job @pengbuzz! Congrats on the finish. She looks read for a tussle with Red Wolf!
  19. I mean in regards to the look of the main baddy. Leia had hers on to play a part and the Stormtroopers are early copy/paste Star Trek-style redshirts. Here we see another main baddy donning a sinister helmet, complete with creepy grin.
  20. I remember those photos! It's really a shame that most of them were never released. I have one of their Banshee IV kits, and it's really impressive!
  21. At least two decades too soon. Oh boy, are we dating ourselves or what?...
