  1. Past hour
  2. The hands were really designed for Rock, Paper Scissors, just in case we found out the aliens weren’t as militaristic as they ended up
  3. Looks really interesting. A good dirt wash will bring it out though
  4. Yesterday
  5. Yeah the box was shown in the beginning of the video that I posted.
  6. Passed on this. My Arcadia 1st release is still in perfect condition and it can use the Reactive Armor. I bought a Yamato 1/60 VF-17S from Mandarake instead.
  7. I don’t know who put out the borderlands movie, but there’s a big fandom for A24 that I don’t think I’ve ever seen for other studios other than maybe Troma, although the Troma fandom is much smaller. Personally, I think they’re about 50/50, but I know others that believe they can do no wrong and get excited just to see their logo pop up for anything. That coupled with a low budget usually makes for lower risk in the long run.
  8. AK Real Color F-15 Modern Eagle 🦅 Gray went down this morning and it's very nice paint, however nowhere near as dark as I was thinking it was going to be, so tomorrow morning I will start laying down light coats of Vallejo Medium Gunship Gray and see where we end up! Stay tuned!
  9. And that is before you add popcorn and a drink, ugh. And movie theaters wonder why they are dying...
  10. Star Trek 1/2500 (mostly) decal scans (courtesy of indianatheshepherd and other contributors at AllScaleTrek): TOS, Refit/ A and B: E-C: E-D: E-E: Various (including WoK E/Reliant set): And these are the decals from the TMP Surak set:
  11. Thank you, appreciate the links. Hmmn, looks like the valk itself is identical, no improvement to the fitment of parts or crispness of the deco. (which is inferior to the original releases)
  12. I just got back from the latest Mission Impossible movie. Decent film, anyone that likes the series will enjoy this one. The price for tickets though, $25 a ticket for a matinee. OW! That is up about $10 from the last time I went to a movie at a theater (granted, five years ago but still)
  13. Eh... the obvious counterargument there is Borderlands. That too was an adaptation of a popular video game with a barely-there plot beloved for its visual aesthetic and gameplay in the hands of a respected production company with a somewhat uneven track record and an average (for an action movie) budget of about $113M. It should have been able to break even and turn a profit without breaking a sweat as long as it didn't lose the fans. A couple questionable creative decisions and dubious casting choices later... and the studio found itself $80M in the red as the not-so-proud owner of the third biggest box office bomb of 2024.
