I think I'm in for Red Hood. I have Robin, and Nightwing pre-ordered, gotta have the whole Bat-Family including the three main Robins. I'm hoping we get a "modern" Batgirl at some point, maybe an Alfred and Bat-Cave diorama set would be neat too.

"Canon" size aside, the Legioss looks stupidly tiny compared with anything modern, to the point that it's not even believable. The 1/48 cockpit is cramped enough that it looks like it should be 1/60 anyway.

Hey @Gabe Q, there's a much easier way to remove that moldline now (I used to scrape it with an exacto, then sand, then Tamiya Polish and clear coat by dipping it in Future). I found these GodHand sanding sponges and you work from 2000, 4000, 6000, 8000, 10000 lightly sanding the seam and it dissappears crystal clear! I still dip my canopies in Future to make them extra shiny though, but its not to hide any scratches from the sanding anymore. Hey @pengbuzz that Klingon Battlecruiser turned out amazing!!! Great paint finish on it too! Thanks for the colour info, I have to bookmark those for future reference. Hard to believe it's been 20yrs since I bought this kit! Here's the VE-1 I did 18yrs ago for comparison when I was trying to do the smoothest coat of paint I could and weathered everything (post shading) with an airbrush - it looks too clean and slick (although I purposely tried to restrain the weathering on both of these as I thought they'd be better kept than something in used in war). Not that I've been building consistently for the last 18yrs, I've taken many years off but I like seeing the progress.

Starscream is a hugely popular character; Target might be the only way to get him in 2026, but just like Crasher and Cosmos (and, spoilers for next year, Hound), I fully expect him to turn up in a regular retail line eventually. BTW, another Bayverse Dinobot in 2027. They're shooting for '28 and '29, too, but those years aren't set yet.

I think, when KC did a renewed push last year on the GBP that included free base valk (the first ‘upgrade’ he’s referring to), response must have been quite tepid. If I’m reading correctly, it now sounds like there will be a v3 VF-1 with more metal. Hopefully it finally solves all the shortcomings of the current mold.

The Legioss is listed as being 8.75 m tall in robot mode and 10.25 m long in fighter. At 1/60 scale that would be about 14.6 cm and 17.1 cm respectively.

They block the intakes in fighter mode right? What's funny is, if they were just mounted under the intakes, they'd still be facing forward in armo soldier mode anyway, without further complicating the transformation.

I've never been a toy car collector, so my familiarity with most Hot Wheels and Matchbox is minimal, but I still have my copy of the M-8 Rescue Vehicle and I wouldn't mind a TF version of that. They've both done any number of beautiful sports and concept-like cars over the decades and some of those would be cool as well. The two current HW crossovers don't really do much for me (not into hot rods, and while the blue guy is better, it still doesn't grab me like some other car designs would). Prowl's one of my all-time favorite TF designs- I love the way he looks. He was also my first TF toy, so there's some nostalgia there as well. That said, I passed on "Dead Prowl", all the dead SS characters for that matter, as that's not how I want to see or remember them. If they do a slight retool of the ER, if for no other reason than to give him accurate spoiler-less feet, I'll likely pick that up. I 'm rather skeptical of a situation where a retail Unicron, done as a titan or perhaps a new larger size/budget class, could or would turn out better in any way than the Haslab, which itself is just a huge shell-former, virtually devoid of any noteworthy engineering. However, if Takara ever wants to make a hatching-egg toy, they've already laid the groundwork. I wish, for the price, that it had been closer to what Studio Cell did with their take, and given the choice again, I think I'd have passed on the Haslab in lieu of the Studio Cell. At this point, I don't think there's even a question of whether the designers like Mark and Evan are devoted fans; it comes through loud and clear, and it's one of the major reasons why I think putting them front and center in these fanstreams is such good PR for Hasbro. Moreover, it makes them feel approachable and also softens the blow a little when the toys aren't quite up to fans' expectations. At least we get a little explanation of why and how various decisions were made, how the budget affected those choices, and other background regarding the process of making a toy. I'd love to hear the metrics, as I'm curious how much of an impact doing these streams has had on sales. At the very least, I very much doubt it's hurt them. Anyway, I too respect that they're trying to put out what fans want, that they listen to the fans, and that they labor under limitations that most of us are unaware of to try and bring those wants and desires to the fandom (and the three kids below twenty who know that G1 exists and buy the toys). Product exclusivity sucks. I get why, but it sucks nonetheless.

Check their front page if the shipping delays are still ongoing. Their busy revamping their warehouse and my last order earlier in the month sat there for over 2 weeks before it could be shipped out.

Much appreciated Steve, but by the time I read this, I had already done most of the work in masking tape: Had to do quite a bit of research on this one, as the colors looked gunmetal grey in parts of ST:TMP. I’m more of a Waterboy fan myself (just because it’s fun watching guys get absolutely destroyed on clean hard tackles). But OG Happy is right up there.

I think the last one is going to Earth, somehow. There's already a clip in this new one that looks like Sully gets taken in and brought to Earth as a war criminal or something, that may even be the ending and the last film is the Na'vi commandeering a big ass ship and taking the fight to Earth.

Yeah it reminded me of the XFL, bigger, dumber, less actual athletic ability, lots of flash lol.
