The moment from Dr Strange was just an example of the same. And Gunn does do some good character moments, but it's just a preference of mine to have comedy separate from dramatic moments.

@nightmareB4macross Thank you, but you're doing some awesome work! A lot of what I'm doing is because of the lathe and mill making up for my lack dexterity. GREAT detail work and funny pose for your not-so-Chunky Monkey. @Papa Rat Thank you! Congratulations on your anniversary! Doesn't seem that long! Are you making a glass cockpit for that VF-1 (another dad joke back at you)? For the Monster, you may want to look at some after market joints to put in that. The stock setup, while cool and articulated, just doesn't hold like Big S said. I checked USA Gundam Store and Newtype, but they are out of most of them right now. @Thom Thank you, Thom, I appreciate it! - MT

Sorry, I was half asleep and probably thought you meant standing to the left rather than pictured on the left. Not sure about it, but it does have that kind of battler custom sort of look. and I’m not really surprised that Bandai hasn’t done the bloodsucker yet. They only seem to be doing scopedog variants and Wave had their kit, max factory also did a recent kit and theirs the toy, so I’d imagine it’s gonna be a while if they ever decide to do a non scopedog and I don’t really think Votoms was a flop. Gundam was a flop in its og run and got cancelled and same with southern cross and a lot of other anime in those years, but the creators always expected Votoms to get cancelled and they were surprised after each one of the story arcs that they were able to continue. Supposedly that’s why they planned the show in that way to have an ending in case it ever got the early axe. I think their success even surprised themselves

Yeah I don't really follow a lot of other JP artist aside from her. A far second is Band-Maid, and I did get to see them live along with The Warning last year. Getting tickets to that was quite easy even though it was still a lottery.

Surprised that these weren’t first since the brownie in heavy armor is the first one ever shown in the series climbing out of a regult and that type of armor is very common with the regult pilots.

Eh? Left side where the upper torso has a different shape... the sniper variation is on my right but maybe your left!? 😉 But still some nice variations, but was more wondering for HM-R variants and what's still doable, Funny though that the Bloodsucker AT is being done as a figure before being done as a model by Bandai. Since these are two different devisions inside Bandai Spririts I wander if they cooperate or can just do their own thing? Since Sunrise is now owned by Bandai they may as well milk it for what its worth! Find it amazing though that the series wich was considered a flop is actually still really strong after 40 years and how many companies have produced V.O.T.O.M. AT's in various scales for this series! And we still get too see new variants which we don't recognize...

Not bad at all. I laud the return to his original alt mode form compared to the CW Mixmaster, whose alt I found rather unappealing. I'm concerned that those shoulders are going to have some very limited outward rotation due to how high they extend beyond the joint. Still, they're better than the "Rodimus shoulders", a technique I wish they'd permanently abandon. Great to see they managed to get the bicep rotation in there. Guessing it won't be long before either PvP or Toys Are Russ have a copy in hand for review.- 17161 replies

Whats Lying on your Workbench MK IV

Looking good. So many kits at once. I love chaos. Still grinding away at details and adding more gimmicks. Happy to find the was so much room under the chest to add all this in and still be able to remove the airbrake. More to come. -

Maybe Director Krennic will arrange for Dedra to have an appropriately entertaining bunk mate to help the time pass more easily during her stay on Narkina 5. I can think of a few people in the Star Wars universe who would make ideal companions for her...

A Little Teaser of a Conversion Kit...
PsYcHoDyNaMiX replied to PsYcHoDyNaMiX's topic in The Workshop!
Made some progress on the VF22S bay door cover, but had an event on Saturday so I had a bit less time to work on the project. Kind of conflicted and unsure if I want to really redesign the shape of the front section for the bay door fp (I had sketched up a few ideas prior, no pictured), before adding/applying the details. 🙄 I did make an print up the first iteration of the rear vertical stabilizer FP and it fit, but decided to scratch that idea because I realized by turning/canting the top of the forearm outward (while in fighter mode) with the original/stock Bandai DX FP Stabilizer actually lines up pretty well (so no need to reinvent the wheel). 🤷♂️ I took a magnifier and believe the markings on the side of the canopies say "Caution Keep Clean", LOL. I was able to emboss the side marking onto the canopies with no issue but unfortunately because of the shape a few of the methods I've tried didn't allow the 'NO STEP' to apply nicely onto the top/center of the canopies. I will have to try other methods and now I'm currently unsure if I want the 'NO STEP' marking to be permanently embossed/cut into the canopies. Now, I'm determining if and where I would want to place the markings on the heads... 🤔 Thought I had posted pics of fighter mode, uploaded these: Dunked the concept canopy (ver II 0.05mm res, no AA, no sanding) into Future (yes I still have the old bottle laying around. I'll have to pick up a bottle of the new stuff "Pledge", lol) and a 2:1 water:future mix (ver III 0.05mm res, no AA, no sanding). Ver III was the iteration I went overboard with supports and it suffered from scarring. The 2water:1future mix yield a matte finish (I forgot about that from my old WH40K Days). Ver V is the only set atm printed at 0.03mm, AA on. Ver VI will have the embossed markings printed at 0.03mm AA on: Hopefully I'll have a bigger update by the end of the week, prior to the weekend. I do want to get this project out of the way.- 8 replies

The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl has finally decided to veer into romance... which I guess is a nice change of pace from the main girl bashfully shoving the main guy through the nearest wall with her super-strength every time he gets close. -

I think it was dengeki. I remember an article showing it and I really only bought the magazines with appendix items as add ons, (lots of cool add on parts for gundam and such like the GM wagtail parts) but I may be wrong about it and just got excited for Macross news. I believe it came out with the first rerelease of the Monster since they had to do some extra work with those particular molds and the article talked about the difficulties with that particular mold. If I remember the Monster didn’t come out with the first set of Macross rerelease kits due to those problems and came out the next big anniversary set -

I can't believe the size and heft of the injections molds...like seriously how do you maneuver them around, and how much room do you need to store them? Its just crazy, There was a Dengeki Hobby or HJ 10 years ago or something that had an article with pics of Macross molds from Bandai, including a pic of the 1/200 Monster if I recall I just can't remember where the heck I saw it -
