  2. The Target listings should be up at 6 am PST. People have been getting old preorders cancelled so it might not even matter if preorders are secured.
  3. Today
  4. Mixmaster came in. Time to complete Devastator.
  5. Oh we did, that was my post about how mine exploded. Really, it was more of a post-explosion autopsy. If someone could get one apart in a slightly more coherent state, you might be able to get some good measurements of it. I would love to find a way to produce a functional replacement, or even just a permanent fighter mode mount for the rest of the leg, but that still requires getting the lower leg apart in the first place, which is a serious roadblock. You almost need to remake the entire lower leg from scratch.
  6. The stand and the decals are separate things. The stand is pre-decorated, and you can use the decals for other things.
  7. See, this is the biggest nail in the coffin of Bandai's marketing strategy. The people who actually care about the things they're bothering to re-release? They already went through the effort to import the originals. You're not doing anyone any favors, Bandai, the people who want them already have them. All they're doing is deflating the market value of the original releases at this point, because the market is flooded with the few releases they're willing to keep churning out in favor of completing any of the lines people actually want to buy.
  8. Anybody thinking about picking up the Black Pearl set that releases in a couple of days? I'm on the fence about it.
  9. Yesterday
  10. As I am working on my Dark Tread/MPC Beta project, I'm wondering if anyone ever tried to make a proper 3D printed or resin cover for soldier mode? It looks like Toynami tried in the prototype stages before doing what they did. See the pic posted, you'll see a nice proper flat chest plate cover vs the canopy just folding down. Now that I know the canopy can be removed, I'm wishing I knew how to make these kinds of parts.
  11. LEGO + Star Trek = ❤️
  12. I would’ve thought that all would’ve been printed on it, but I guess not if it has a decal for it. The whole ting is a silly cash grab. May as well just get the standard kit and the decals and be much happier that way
  13. I'm in the same boat. My backlog of unbuilt kits is so old that I haven't gotten to build my Sinanju. I'm surprised there's no available aftermarket metal frame available for the Sinanju yet. I bought one for RG Nu just as a trial, and it worked out quite well.
  14. So you have to apply the decal on that acrylic stand?
  15. They've released the Hikaru VF-1J 4x if you count the chrome chogokin ver and the only reason they sell out is because 3/4 of us are so worried they're gonna cancel the line before we get the valks we actually want, if they have a deadbeat release 🤣
  16. Wow! This is outstanding! ♥️
  17. Hellfire missiles bouncing off invaders' backs? Send out the Legioss instead... Despite the toy not being very large, it can be made to look quite imposing. (And just a few minutes ago, I noticed the shoulder sensor is mis-transformed in these latest pics. This will bug me for days to come... until I'm annoyed enough or find more inspiration to take more pics again.. sigh)
  18. I thought it was priced crazy, so then I checked sold auctions and saw this:
  19. of course, many of us also have multiples of those things now too!
  20. I thought we had a post somewhere that showed the knee and all its components... less from a "here's how you fix it" but more from a "holy hell, how was this the design they chose" standpoint. Yes though, Bandai likes glue which is no good for us who have to fix their products.
  21. 2 Sheryls goes to World EXPO at Osaka and met with Macross royalty at his pavilion! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DOYw0tPE73H/?igsh=MTR0OGo5eG42cWxvag%3D%3D&fbclid=IwY2xjawMucRJleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETEzT2NZRXRta2pjUFF1YXRRAR7KYbEhJfLy2mA5aulQ9qFQcrgad8ZuNLDLZrf67P3E9HcEwRCAKUYTcDtDPA_aem_aFLku7JQOWKbx-K-L_3unw
  22. TY. From @Perxion’s photo alone I couldn’t figure out how everything mated.
  23. More often than not, it reflects the experience of the author, the artist, and the reader when interacting with the opposite sex. Each successive generation is becoming progressively more shy and self-conscious, and the population is dwindling rapidly as a result. 🙁
  24. That is one ultra glossy VE-1. Seems as if the seller used baby oil to clean it. At that price I would expect to be shown the rear of the figure and all the accessories as I only count one booster armor antenna. My have the prices of VE-1’s risen in past auctions, not sure they are selling that high though.
  25. Yes, the connection port is the same but the rest is very different. Here's a quick pict (on a rainy day, so sorry for the phone shadow).
