  1. Past hour
  2. @jenius Awesome review thanks for sharing! They should call this Hellboy mode!
  3. Get a few phone photos of the IMS 1/144 Neptune I built last fall. I think it was last fall? Wish the sparkling blue came through the photos. It usually alludes me. The decal shoulder emblem failed on me so I brush painted it. It didn’t turn out too bad.
  4. Depends on your specific backlog.... If you still are missing the pilot figs that should have shipped with the PO Regults that were initially included with them, they have your figs....but don’t expect them to be shipped out for "free"....you can request them to be shipped but you will be on the hook for shipping and Trump taxes.... Other than that....if your were on the Kickstarter, next up are the heavy armor figs, then the Scout Regult....still unsure if those will be shipped to US customers without any additional charges, like shipping....for sure Trump tax, no way around that on anything for the moment...
  5. One assumes his heavily-modified program has been reinforced and expanded significantly since then. Also, I didn't realize the time frames for Living Witness and Starfleet Academy lined up so closely.
  6. "Hooooney, shut your eyes, I got us a new table....!!!...SURPRISE!!! ---😂 wife calls lawyer...
  7. Today
  8. been a hot minute since I last popped into this thread.. lots of cool stuff. But no more $$ from me till they come through with what they owe me. Any word on that backlog as of late?
  9. Kawamori’s design works has it though.
  10. As soon as I saw it listed I had to get it otherwise it would have been gone. Also have the gift set but now have the single release.
  11. IMO, it's surprising that he's still around at all given that his matrix was falling apart due to excessive data input after just a few years in service in Voyager. His design lifespan (per VOY "The Swarm") was 1,500 hours. 62.5 continuous days of operation. He started to break down after about 2 years of on-and-off service (substantially less than 17,500 hours) and was band-aided back into service using the matrix of a diagnostic hologram meant to provide field service for him. But now he's been online continuously for over 7 million hours. Over 4,666 times his design lifespan. How his software even works with modern technology is a mystery and why they'd keep him around to teach anything is a mystery since his program has been outdated for 821 of his 824 years of service. It's like learning medicine from someone who was a practicing doctor in 1205. (Fodder for snide jokes like Spock's calling McCoy's medical tools "beads and rattles".) Considering they've un-personed Benjamin Sisko's extremely important-to-his-fate child by his second wife, I'd expect the Doctor's backup will be completely forgotten. Then again, of all the possible scenarios there's a strong possibility that he may not have even left for Federation space yet at the time of Starfleet Academy. Spoilered, because I am about to overanalyze the **** out of this in my habitual manner.
  12. Fwiw, going by the anime... The GBP-1S did not have any UNSpacy Kite in both TV and DYRL: Only in the TV series did the reversed-Kite appeared on the Tomahawk: But at the same episode, in contrast, the blue Phalanx sported the regular UNS Kite: Afaik, none of the other destroids in both of the anime sported the kite at all.
  13. I’m a bit pick and choose over these. I did buy all the first few packs with multiple characters, but not as many of the originals. Still need a Bright for some slap action though
  14. Remove the glass and put your cups into his hands
  15. Hey @tekering I didn't know you did 3D printing, is it PLA or resin? How fine? I'd love someone to do some 1/72 F-22 landing gears someday.
  16. I've seen a number of people raise that hypothesis in various corners. If that is the case, the bridge does not seem well laid-out for it. The students would be stuck standing around the perimeter of the room watching the bridge officers from the outside. Ordinarily, if you were going to do a training cruise you'd have either: Small groups of cadets shadowing officers in the course of normal duties aboard a ship during routine operations (e.g. the cadets on the USS Enterprise in Star Trek II or Red Squad on the USS Valiant in DS9 "Valiant"). A larger group of cadets crewing an old, decommissioned ship under the supervision of an experienced commander and team of instructors (e.g. Pike's final training cruise on that J-class freighter or Picard's first training cruise on the decommissioned USS Leondegrance.) Honestly? This series isn't bad enough to merit calling it a "hate watch". The first episode is a train wreck and the second episode is a real stinker, but it's actually getting noticeably less shite with each episode. The Klingon episode could even be called "almost Star Trek". If this trajectory continues it might actually be good by the end of the first season. Quality-wise, we're basically watching the series crawl out of the wreckage of its first two episodes and start staggering to its feet. It remains to be seen if it'll finish up by walking away from a sick explosion without looking back or if it'll just catch a bit of errant shrapnel in the back of the head and fall over again without any dignity.
  17. I asked at the end of December and this is what I got as a reply. "Thank you for reaching out to us about your Genesis Climber figures. We still have hope that they will arrive at our warehouse. At this time, we have not received any confirmation that the figures will be canceled. Until we hear directly from the manufacturer, we always assume that our orders will be fulfilled. If the figure is canceled by the manufacturer, then we will always reach out to you via email about the cancellation. I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance and I will be happy to help. Have a great day!"
  18. Seems preorders are live again at HLJ https://www.hlj.com/dx-chogokin-vf-1s-valkyrie-roy-focker-special-revival-ver-banc722270
  19. Did you ever ask or get an answer?
  20. That was my plan, but wasn’t quick enough....and now Netflix pulled this out of nowhere....basterds!!!
  21. Cancelled my Netflix after the Stranger Things finale. Yeah, same...
  22. The alternate UN spacy kites seems like yet another rabbit hole unto itself. There's this discussion of some of the alternates that appear in SDFM and DYRL. I've also read that some units from the Daedalus and/or Prometheus have the inverted kite colors, but I have no idea where that came from or if it has any truth behind it. Bandai put the inverted kite on all their HMR destroids, two of which also have the Daedalus emblem on them, which weirdly contradicts the line art that can be seen in the MMM, which seems like the line art Bandai used for most of their HMR stuff. Also weirdly, the Phalanx is the only one with the inverted kite colors in the MMM line art. I haven't even bothered to go back through SDFM and see if there is any kind of rhyme or reason to it. It could all have started as yet another animation error for all I know. What does all this mean? I have no idea, and I'm not sure if there was ever any real intent behind it. Unless someone with some insider knowledge of the production speaks up, I think it will be open to speculation or, at best, left to secondary materials to try to come up with a logic to it.
  23. Oh, that's a popular one! Many versions are available. Don't we all? 😅 I'm hoping to complete at least one massive SDF-1 in the next six weeks... 🫥
