PNW_Sweetie Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Yeah, that looks pretty terrible. The nose, undersized canopy, and humpback. At least he didn’t skip leg day Quote
rsvictor1976 Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I'm not a big fan of the Valkyrie, but the Tomahawk armor for it looks pretty good. Quote

bambooluv Posted July 24 Posted July 24 Sentinel, Unix Square? From what I've been able to surmise, they offer a set of the VF's in non-transformable modes, and one that can. Quote
Raikkonen Posted July 25 Posted July 25 (edited) In 2025, someone had to try to make it as least accurate and unattractive as possible. Edited July 25 by Raikkonen Quote
Knight26 Posted July 25 Posted July 25 The arms and fuselage are ok, but those legs. The only explanation for that, that I can contemplate, is that it is some sort of test bed/interim design between the VF-1 and VF-4. Quote

Or too much alcohol/ mind-altering substances for the designers. 🫥 Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted July 25 Posted July 25 If the QC turns out to be good, I am planning to them, 1S and 1A CF. https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/328754 Quote
Gundam@EFSF Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Most transformable VF models aim for tight fighter-mode silhouettes. Perfect panel lines. Zero gaps. But the tradeoff? You can barely move the damn thing in Battroid mode. This new manufacturer flipped the script. I remember seeing the prototype two years ago at a local convention — people were… lukewarm. But now? The real thing hits different. ✅ Transformation is solid ✅ Battroid mode is actually poseable ✅ Feels like a machine, not a fragile shelf queen You’re not just transforming it. You’re playing it. Finally — a VF-1 that's not just for photos. It stands. It poses. It fights. And you don’t have to worry about breaking it every time you twist a joint. Quote

Froy Posted August 3 Posted August 3 20 years later and they still pulled out a fighter mode that looks worse than Toynami MPCs. Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted August 3 Posted August 3 @Gundam@EFSF Thanks for the review, I really liked when saw it for the first time, I consider it the Chunky monkey of the 21st Century. I am planning to get the 1S and 1A CF. Quote

Magnus Posted August 15 Posted August 15 I bought one of these because I was very curious and just got it in a few days ago: Pros: -very solid, high-quality feel to the materials (mostly). -great poseability in Battroid mode -some interesting design choices that make the figure feel dynamic Cons: -Barely anything tabs together in Gerwalk or fighter mode, and what does uses very shallow, tiny tabs that will likely break after time -Impossible to get it aligned in fighter mode, even after finagling and massaging it for nearly an hour -Fake chest inserts for Battroid, and also a fake upper/shoulder insert. I hate parts-forming, so this was annoying. Head just floats, doesn't peg to anything without the insert -Floating waist, die cast hips don't connect to the nose cone -Broke off one of the antennae when trying to adjust the legs in fighter mode, the head doesn't really feel like it sits anywhere properly in any mode -Standard fist that can fold into the arm doesn't have a hole for the rifle, so parts-swapping is necessary when not in fighter-mode Honestly if this thing was $100 less, i'd be ok with it, but as it stands it isn't quite as solid and "toyetic" as I was hoping for. Quote
Chronocidal Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Glad it feels solid at least, it certainly doesn't look like it should be. It kind of looks like someone looked at the original VF-1, saw the VF-2SS, and went, "Hey, what if we take that older one and update it so it looks more like the same kind of sloppy collection of robot parts cosplaying as an aircraft as the newer one?" "Brilliant!" Quote
