Always felt its great that DX and HMR exist for the exact same VF-1 variant.. its a space & more cost effective way to display them in each of their different modes.

If there was more than one Minmei figure included I’d swap her out but I think everything still came out well.

She does switch arm positions during that scene though so I’m cool with it.

That sounds like fun. The idea occurred to me too but I don't think it is easy to remove the canopy. - there's a top piece holding down the hinge towards the back, and most likely it's superglued on. You could however mask around the canopy and have a go at it.

I lucked out.  Not very noticeable on mine.  

 

Curious; is anybody planning to put some scale bullet holes in their 1D?   I was going to before I got it in hand, but I'm so chuffed about how it is now, I've dropped the idea.    But I figure there's gotta be somebody out there...

I'm happy with how this pose came out.  Based on the scene from SDFM episode 2 when Hikaru is about to shoot up the Regult.
