Know what?...  I don't hate it but I don't like it enough to buy one.

The forearm gaps offend me, but I can fix those.  I really like the color scheme.  For a couple years now I’ve been toying with alternative palettes the would befit bases established on others planets.  You know, headcanon stuff.  This palette would go well for Neptune Base.

You're fine with them- they just have to wait for the container to ship, then the shipment to get to them, then they can ship out. So they tend to be months behind the Japan releases. The reason many of us our getting ours now is because we ordered direct from Japan (but that means paying for the shipping instead of the lower shipping with BBTS). Granted, tariffs may kill that shipping now, since all of BBTS's stuff is way up in price now.

YUP - My "Pile of Loot" still hung up at BBTS including Tread, Legioss re-issue & my first Sentinel ride-armor: pink Fuke...

Depending on the price I may grab a Toyrise, I don't like Mospeada and these designs enough to spend any real money on any of these other insanely priced figures.

Pretty reasonable - smack in HMR valk price & size territory.

Amazing they managed to keep the opening cockpit in Soldier, and one-upped the HMR by giving integrated landing gears. In fact, it looks to be PT like the bigger Sentinel.

Even the pilot figure is articulated just like Sentinel's.

Given all the above, it's curious they chose to have the forearms exposed without any covering panel. It's such a Takara TF thing to do. :p

I like the price.

Can't say I like any of the design changes. The LERX position in Armo Soldier mode is surprising, I didn't notice that before.

I'd like it a lot more in a canon color scheme, and without the high-heeled boots.

I assume the feet stick out too far in Fighter mode until pics prove otherwise.

^^Based on the pics in the link, yep, feet stick out way beyond the back in fighter mode.

I know the Legioss/Alpha doesn’t exactly have the smoothest of bottom/ventral profiles.  But yeesh, this thing is showing its Takara/Tomy roots with all that thick underside kibble.

After all these years, "thick underside kibble" describes me.

I'm in for this price.

Yeah I'm in for the Toy Rise, price and scale works much better for me, I can get a Tread in this line too if they get there one day.

Looks playable and sturdy. If priced well, this could be a must have for me.  If we are getting new anime, I’m all for that as well!

Re: the feet. They do stick out, though doesn't seem as egregious as other non-Sentinel ones.

There isn't the hip rotation feature to tuck the legs further into the chest intakes in Fighter. I assume that's for simplicity purposes. It then looks like they adjusted the lower legs to be slightly shorter so less mass sticks out the back. Shorter legs mean stockier Soldier mode, so they mitigate this by angling the feet downwards to that stiletto position to make it look taller again.

That removable cockpit module just reminds me the VF-11 now.

I like what Toyrise has done to the rear of the cockpit.  The official design has always looked awkward to me.  I already put my Sentinels in storage, but I think I recall there being a giant opening (in the one unit I inspected) at the rear of the cockpit instead of a solid panel.  That's nonsensical if I'm right.  I need to take another look at them.Screenshot2025-09-04at23_28_38.png.d34c2c86447f525cd61a1823e8814d57.png

The reason for that big gap after the back of the cockpit is due to the shoulder sensor being stored under there.

Hmm.........I'm wondering if some of the 3mm hardpoints  placed all over the Takara Toyrise Legioss toy are  designed to used for connecting to a future Tread release?

Interesting, one of the Treads in that pic has forward swept wings.

yeah. i think EZ or MLV is forward swept version of TLEAD.

Great new developments! Has anyone speculated as to how the landing gears are stowed away or they part swappable? I don't know why the cockpit is detachable  and the inclination of it being a focused feature leads me to believe it may improve the overall aesthetic profile in armo soldier? Who knows other than the sleuths that may have some insights to this most anticipated release.

Looking closely to these renders I notice they share some parts with the new desgin.

I wonder if they will actually come as toys or Takara only used them as templates to make the modifications over them.

Perhaps the removable cockpit can be swapped with a drone compartment. And the vertical stabilizers remind me of the  Yammie's VF-11 underwhelming but it's there for mere aesthetics.

I'm absolutely in for one, but I might wait for the green one, I like this design better in green, Tread too.

I’ll wait and see how the reviews on this one are and if they’re good, I’ll probably get these colors
