Is the dark weathered looking Kamjin just a prototype or an alternate version that’s going to be available for purchase? Not a fan of metallics in the armor, but at least it’s the least offensive one color wise, but if that flat green weathered version is available, I’d definitely purchase that one

I was wondering the same. Why two different Kamjin figures. Different sculpts too.

They're all still prototypes at this stage; only the first "Gluu-ger" has been mass-produced.

Looks like KC may release 6"  versions of their Zentran characters.....they took pretty good....

At this point, I'd be happy just to get my smaller Zentran figs....;)

Oh, so that’s actually gonna be a different larger figure? I like little figures, but the larger one looks better, but that might just be the paint job.

I think, when KC did a renewed push last year on the GBP that included free base valk (the first ‘upgrade’ he’s referring to), response must have been quite tepid.

If I’m reading correctly, it now sounds like there will be a v3 VF-1 with more metal. Hopefully it finally solves all the shortcomings of the current mold.

Did they put the elbow pads in the sides for the heavy armor also? Someone needs to teach this company how elbow pads work

The flat paints figs look much better than the chrome paint figs...

Hopefully US customers get some sort of acknowledgement from KC regarding the shipping "situation"....right now they seem to just be pretending like it is not a problem if they simply make no mention of it....;)

They so look like as if they were designed in the early 2000s...

IMO....the Breetai face sculpt is the weakest, followed closely by Rico....

Yeah, it's anything but Breetai there... from the proportions, colour, even the eye sensor is off.

Just as I'm warming up more to Max's figure, disaster struck. I was exploring putting him on a sitting pose, so was slowly lifting his left leg up and when I got to around the 50-60 degree range, the thigh separated from the crotch. There was no audible sound or any distinct feel of something snapping, it just suddenly felt loose.

One of my biggest reservations on soft good figures, is that it is hard to gauge the range of motion limits since the joints are hidden beneath the fabric. Hence, I was already exercising much more caution than usual when handling Max. I have no idea if the joint itself is broken, or the thigh has a natural separation point via a peg & slot system like some other action figures. It does seem to have pull-down thighs like most other modern figures usually to enable a higher degree of thigh swing.

Although the thigh has separated, I am unable to pull the whole limb out from the pant leg to inspect it, because it appears the pant leg has been glued somewhere along the lower leg. So when I pick up the figure now, the entire left leg is like wet noodle just dangling by the pants.

The outer box has text saying something along the lines of 'refer to instructions before use', but there is zero literature inside (anyone else can confirm this?).

I obtained this from my local toy store, but I contacted KC directly to see what can be done now. Awaiting their response...

Just a quick update - the figure is fine now.

KC did confirm the pants can't be taken off without cutting or removing the stitches, but good news is after investigating the issue, it turns out that it's just the thigh socket having slipped out of the ball, & just needed to be popped back in with very firm pressure.
