I honestly don’t remember them, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen the show.

When I was seeing them I’m at hobby town, it was when the zero stuff came out, and those didn’t stick around. I don’t know about the fire Valkyrie yet though.

Kinda weird that it’s marked for Andor, but has the description from Rogue one- 726 replies

He definitely looks more like a stuffed animal in this version.

Jack Black, Pedro Pascal and Awkwafina. They’re in everything

Oddly, I’ve seen them more on American sites than the usual Japanese ones like hlj or hobby search

They’re definitely worth a purchase

Too bad almost no one will see it. I still have yet to meet anyone that even knows a person with P+

The hmr toys I’ve seen at the local hobby town seem to sell well. I get the feeling that it’s a different market overseas. I’m curious about how well they’d have sold if the og Macross stuff was available in U.S. stores.

No doubt, but they’re not. Hopefully if something happened to allow them to do it, they’d really do them justice and not change the designs

All it’s proven by having the copyrights expire is that more than likely they’ll just crap on the character rather than do them justice in any new movie. I guess the only good Popeye movie was the Robin Williams one and everything else will just be a cheap cookie cutter turd of a horror movie. Then again, a modern Mickey movie by Disney would probably just be crap as well.

Just replace Guinness with Jenius and it’s gonna sell to fans of the reviews and drunks that are so wasted they can’t read the bottle correctly. Although then there’s definitely gonna end up more drunken Macross fans either way

I’ve seen a lot of stuff like this , usually at things like collectors shows and LA China town vendors. I never trust certain sellers and rarely buy vintage stuff anymore, so I wouldn’t know exactly what to look out for these days. The best way to avoid it is to get to know a seller. Some you can tell are shady, but most of the time you can actually find cool people that frown upon the fakes. Just keep in mind most of those will definitely charge more, but often offer good tips on what they look out for.

I’m pretty sure it is just the prototype. It looks a bit rough here, but I’m pretty sure it will get smoothed it and more than likely have a cockpit that opens.

I couldn’t even afford one personally. I’m gonna have to hold out hope that moderoid does well enough with their kits that they eventually get around to this design

I’d rather they trim it down on the goofiness and make it for less than $50.

I guess maybe the question is why they’re both horror movies. The story kinda begs more for a cheesy hardcore comedy

I’m sure it will be. At $40 bucks I’d buy it. A bit over that and I’d question it, but over a hundred I’d probably just sit it out

I think there may actually be two of these movies now. The other is called Popeye the Slayer man. Not sure if one is a fake or why there are two of them.

As far as the toy goes, if they had just kept it simple it would be really cool. It’s a small fighter for their little pilot guy. They could’ve easily kept the cost low with being simple and just had the basic landing gear and opening cockpit. The other unnecessary stuff unfortunately will just add to the customer cost and for stuff no one needs. I don’t really know how well the sales will be if they add so much pointless stuff that it just prices out anyone that’s on the fence about buying it. A glass half full is also a glass half empty and I can see where this could be a cool toy if the price is low, but it could also end up a total failure if it’s too expensive and if it fails, it could discourage other companies like Hasegawa from doing a simple kit. While a success may just be the inspiration for a company to produce a gnerl as well if they see there’s interest in the design.
