I have an odd feeling that they’ll do one, but it might be a few years as some kinda anniversary type thing

The wave kits are a bit more fun than the hasegawa ones, but not quite as fun as the plamax kits. Definitely gonna need some paint on the wave kits though and some seam work, but their battroid is fun to pose, just doesn’t get quite the same degree of articulation as the plamax battroids do in the knees

Availability is a little iffy from Japan, but pretty easy stateside. I haven’t heard of any QC issues with their kits at all. I think the only one that had an issue was the hg zeta plus, but that got fixed fast and only caused a slight delay a few years back.

Nah, it’s bad. I’ve never wanted Sauron to win, but I almost want him to but I don’t even really like him either. I’ll try and get myself to watch more, but so far it makes the acolyte seem like a decent show

I actually think that from what I’ve watched, it actually looks worse than season one. I still haven’t been able to convince myself to watch the second episode of this season yet after how bad the first episode was. the first season was bad, but there were some good looking moments here and there. This one doesn’t seem to have spent as much money on its sets and locations or something. It just seems off in that department, along with the writing.

Most nail polishes are made with similar stuff that gets put into hobby glues and thinners and that’s pretty much why it bonds to styrene. Many companies use stuff like Lacquers and some use acrylic or enamel bases. Many fake nails are actually styrene plastic. It’s weird how much hobby stuff ends up similar or the same stuff as women’s beauty supplies. Often times women discover great products long before us guys do. Like with the whole glass file thing or spongey sanding sticks or miniature airbrush sets or make up compacts with application brushes and sponges. I get the feeling that a lot of dudes run out of their supplies and then scrounge what their ladies have in stock and then it gets marked up and sold in hobby shops.

Maybe by the time they do have a sale, you might also have some extra points to cut the cost even further

It might have ended well, but will only be remembered for how it started and then soon forgotten

I get the feeling someone got their first airbrush and decided to try out different paints and techniques and these were the test items

I like that they gave him some bubble gum, but is the box empty?

I have Netflix and still haven’t watched it. I’m not into time travel multiverse stuff and I just saw Deadpool and Wolverine last week, so even though that was more of a parody, I need a break from the stuff. It’s the least interesting genre of sci-fi and it’s way overplayed in movies and shows of various franchises and it really just feels like the same thing over and over like Groundhog Day. the first couple Terminator films and Back to the future came out in a time when the idea was more sparsely used. It didn’t even feel tiring by the time that silly Timecop movie came out, but these days are just way over saturated with it. It’s becoming more common than the unkillable assassin stories. People talk about superhero fatigue, but this is every superhero movie or series and every thing else Sci Fi and fantasy that’s getting released these days. And no matter how new they seem, they’re really just the same boring thing

I tried the first episode and it’s mostly showing stuff they told us about in the last season and Sauron rolling down a hill like a turd in the wind. It’s a bit early to tell if the whole season will suck, but it’s not off to a good start

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
Big s replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
My daughter loves the show and is trying really hard to convince me to finish it. I had watched the first episode and I thought it was really boring. It felt like watching a game tutorial crossed with cooking recipes for food that looks great, but doesn’t exist, so I ended up not only bored but extremely hungry. She tell me that most of the episodes are much better, but I don’t really know anyone else that’s seen it. -
While I do think that in this case a reboot from the ground up is the best idea, I think that if they stick to the books then a series would be better. Problem there is the extreme budget that it would require. Then again Amazon is willing to throw some extreme cash at a proven failure. Anyway, I’m big on the dinos, and like those that watch every crappy Godzilla movie or every horrible fast and furious sequel, I’ll probably go check out another stupid Jurassic World movie and not sure exactly why. I watch them and enjoy them and yet hate them at the same time, it’s confusing

By the time my kid’s kids got to college, it’ll probably still be a bargain bin comic

The only part that really needs a warning is with the connection of the upper leg into the bottom of the thigh. I hear that some have popped it in instead of following the instructions and it strips the peg and can cause the leg to easily fall off. Other than that, it’s an easy kit to build and shouldn’t have any issues

The mega sized Gundam is surprisingly inexpensive due to simplicity in the design. It’s kinda like a giant high grade. I’ve always wanted one, but just don’t have space.

They should have learned it after the first season

Far easier than Hasegawa’s. Much more mobility. There still seam lines, but they’re hidden mostly in a way that a lazy builder could be happy just slapping it together. I would suggest some glue though since some parts are a bit loose. The articulation really top notch and oddly the kit really only has basic joints, but you can do some really dynamic poses

I’m actually drawing a blank about what’s left from zeta in the hguc line. There’s a few that I wouldn’t mind seeing as revives

Even the 30 mm are still locked away. Although I wouldn’t worry about using them since if you delete the English part of the URL, it shows all the available Bandai kits and all the good stuff is already order stopped. the only kit type items they’ve had available for outside Japan are the trading kits. Probably because they kind of fit more into the toy section
