  1. I liked titan ae, but I feel the exact opposite about time travel/ multiverse shenaniganry. It’s done to death and just seems like a cheap gimmick
  2. I kinda figured. After hearing confirmation that Keaton was only in a few minutes, and most of it was kinda cringy, I figured I can skip it
  3. Looking good so far. I’m still hoping they do a kit for Dagger
  4. That’s a cool display. It’s like a homage to earlier decades on those shelves
  5. That’s an awesome bonus. it’s like it gave birth to baby Macross
  6. Eels were one of my favorites back when I was little. It was great for tub time. I remember finding one of mine when I was in high school a few years later and those screws were pretty rusty
  7. They really didn’t put much if any advertising for this one. I think this is the first I’ve heard anything about it
  8. I’ve been tempted to buy some of their western action figures, Dime store legends I think was the name. I’ve heard good things about them, but am a bit reluctant to get into another line. I’ve got old fantasy and sci fi as well as comic related items and trying to see where I would put Wild West I think the naming of their toy lines are fun as well, like the spaghetti 6 and the company is Chicken Fried Toys.
  9. That’s why as soon as you notice a crab problem down there, it’s time to get the shampoo

If you can disassemble them and have the equipment to scan and print the parts, it should be super easy if you know what you’re doing
  11. You can try sanding off any leftovers and then use gradually higher grit until it’s near polishing, then try some gloss and see if it does anything to take away the fogging. If it does and it’s still not smooth enough, the try sanding a bit more and use a polishing compound and see if that works. Once super glue gets on clear parts, sometimes the fogging never goes away, but sometimes it can be saved. You may have to disassemble it enough to get the clear windshield out and work both the exterior as well as interior good luck and hope this helps
  12. That’s pretty cool, I may have to get that. I’ve always loved those 80’s package artworks. Especially the older ones with the realistic explosion before they did the weird digital explosion. Was there ever an explanation as to why the did that change in the background, it seemed like an odd choice
  13. The solvent type of tamiya along with the epoxy and polyester resin putties are usually ok. I don’t think it would be a good idea to soak the water based kinds without sealing them first.
  14. Maybe try an abs glue like plastruct
  15. Pretty much. I’ve been super excited since the first teaser popped up last month. Two of my old favorites are getting resurrected in the same year with Futurama also making a comeback.
  16. I have to agree here. Cinematically should be more of a part of the final trailer
  17. I think it’s the alien ships that looked familiar to me
  18. Didn’t they already show those images a while back? I could swear I’ve already seen them, but can’t remember where.
  19. I honestly never use step 4. Unless there’s something I really need to cut away or quickly scribe, I stay away from blades. I usually just use the clippers and get a starter cut and then trim as close to possible after the part is away from the srprue. Then lightly sand or file the leftover away. Most modern kits are a bit easier to clean up than older kits and seem to have a thinner bit of plastic connecting the plastic to the sprue and feel a little easier to deal with. my favorite file I have is actually a cheap glass file that’s meant for nails. It makes quick work of nubs and stuff and doesn’t scratch like metal ones. as far as step 5and 6 some of the cheap sanding sponges have high grit and polishing sections on the same sponge and surprisingly those get it right back to a plastic look with little fuss. I do use the finger nail press on miscolored areas where the nubs may have been. A little pressure and often it’s hard or impossible to tell it was even there to begin with. That’s one of those tips that people usually don’t mention i really think step 7 here is the most important . That’s the biggest reason to get into the hobby. You don’t have to be a pro and you don’t need a high budget just have fun and once everything is done you’ll end up with something that will give you a sense of pride over the completed project.
  20. Maybe it’s just their equivalent of truck nuts
