Dinocross is after Maclobster. it took quite a few crustaceans before Eva got an evolutionary bump to land animal. But at least it gives hope for Skull squadron raptor.

Finally able to answer my own question since I just got one as a gift. I’d been curious if it was just an updated kit, but it’s actually a brand new mold as of 2023. All the runners have the same date on them. No polycaps and no rubbery joints on this like the old one. The wings have an interesting sparkle and the canopy uses “half mirror technology”. Basically it’s like a weird mirror is coating over the top, but is still a dark clear plastic that mends up translucent. I just thought their term was funny. not sure how to recommend it the kit since it seems really great, but costly for a hg kit. Maybe for a big Dunbine and model kit fan that has extra spending cash

The Alien/Predator/Aliens vs. Predator Thread

That’s mostly due to the creepy pervy vision of H.R. Giger. His artwork is very detailed and extremely pervy. And if you ever get to see a making of on how the original sculpt was made for the alien from the original movie, it’s pretty creepy. The guy used vehicle parts and animal flesh and meat. Honestly, the guy could probably get a horror movie based on his life -

Batman: Caped Crusader (Series) [Prime Video]
Big s replied to pengbuzz's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Finally got around to the final episodes and found myself a bit disappointed. This show is kind of a let down overall. It’s not necessarily bad, but just disappointing. It doesn’t know if it wants to be a children’s show or get down and dirty with the violence. The voice acting is ok, but the characters feel weird here most of the time. The writing is very flawed here and makes Batman seem a little Dumb and the animation is kind of a letdown as well. It looks like a show that got hit by budget constraints and lines got awkwardly simplified in the animation and action choreography is very absent. Season one is a bit of a mess Still it has a bit of charm that wouldn’t allow me to hate the show. If it gets a second season and can fix its problems, it could end up a great show. Batman needs more intelligence, the animation needs to be a bit more special and they need to figure out how to have a show that’s more for older kids since it has a fair amount of killing. A little blood from a gunshot wound would help here and there. As is its still easy for very young audiences and honestly adding a little blood here and there won’t change that much- 50 replies

*checks vs current info* Dammit!!! It’s ok we all make mistakes, just kinda funny that most people either didn’t care or didn’t know who was even starring in this. That’s probably a bad sign for it’s box office numbers. I don’t think he’s that bad, just kinda more of a warm batch of canned tuna on a hot day. His acting ability isn’t the worst, but the odd thing with him is that the directors often give him too much creative control of his characters and nobody wanted Leto the Ghetto Joker.

Language! Although I think it would be hilarious if they spent fifteen minutes on why the Alien had a giant one for its head. Maybe it just walks under the queen or something?

I don’t know all in all where the pricing goes, but Hasegawa is definitely the budget builders best friend. I got that Queadluun Rau for something like fourty bucks or less before shipping, and even after shipping and taxes was about what you paid for two basic hg kits bit with a box that could house several hg kits and still has quite a bit of color separation and a massive size and waterslide decals. Not to mention awesome artwork on that massive box

Ghostbusters is by far a more popular movie, sorry they took your spot, but at least Indy is secure

The Macross kits actually have quite a lot of parts and runners compared to a standard hg kit. I’d say like two kits worth of parts. The web exclusive VF-22 for Gamlin does include the waterslide decals, and that’s something that the standard kits don’t even include for some stupid reason. I’m not sure if they just added extra parts for the changes or if it also still has the 21 parts and the new ones included. I don’t really know how to compare the prices to a standard mg gundam, because I can’t think of one that’s been worth buying in the last couple years. The RG kits are probably a better deal as standard kits than these Macross ones, but I like Macross far more and so far the only YF-21 that I really loved other than the old revoltech is Bandai’s hg kit. I will say that probably the worst offender lately as far as expensive hg kits are those new Dragonar ones at about $40 at the U.S. site. But I still bought both of them and will probably buy any others the put out. I love the Dragonar-1 kit and I try not to think about the fact that it’s not really worth what they charged

He had an annoying band for starters and I’ve only really liked him in one movie and he wasn’t very memorable to me in that sequel to blade runner. But I think most of the hate comes from his choices as the Joker and the creepy way he treated the other cast members.

Damn, now I’m imagining some dude with a busted mechanical arm and an odd human head in the stomach and a tiny cat head on top that makes frustrating decisions and occasionally knocks people off ledges -

yeah, but after seeing where Resurrection went, they’d be some horrible single abomination with a tiny cat head -
Looks awesome

How about an armored VF-11. I know I’d be super quick to drop some cash on one of those

Or the ones against Til Lindemann, or Johnny Depp, or Marylin Manson or Lewis Black. Where there’s smoke, more often than not it’s just steam at most. If there’s evidence that’s legit, then there might be something going on, but without that it’s just an allegation. Ezra was more of an allegation against himself and don’t get me wrong, there are some guilty folks out there, but it’s usually people looking for cash or attention

There are the oddballs though. Recently they did that Gm moraccan front and then a recolor version for Sleggar that were both p Bandai. I think there may have been a slight variation in the head and chest, but I don’t really remember. Either way both of those were p Bandai, then they did a standard release of the same GM and it came with cooler extras than the web exclusives. The dang thing came with a bunch of weapons and added Missile launchers making the standard version an impressive deal compared to the basic versions that previously were web exclusives.

Then try water color pencils. They’re way more fun and more precise.use them dry to lay out edges and then get them moist for areas that need more coverage. They’re great on small parts and pilot figures.just gotta start with a white primer base and lightly topcoat them when you’re done. Mistakes are also super easy to deal with since you can just wipe them away with a little moisture before the topcoat is applied

I try not to pay too much attention to allegations since they often times turn out false.

I don’t know if it’s that Macross isn’t as popular as Gundam or that even Macross fans aren’t as familiar with Gamlin. Either way the mark up still sucks, then again it’s almost the same price as a standard YF21 at a place like bbts.

The correct term is “Water Bear”. They don’t believe in science or practicality, so they should never be referred to by their scientific names -
Either that or they’ll do one as standard and the other as a web exclusive
-
I haven’t cared much for movies that he stars in, he’s ok though as a minor character actor and occasionally as an unhinged slightly antagonistic character like in the little things, but not a main bad guy either. He’s a small dose actor
