  1. Looks like foot options for the little one

That’s the main reason I was into hmr to begin with. Lack of space and now I’ve got even less space.
  3. That looks like a real pain in the rear to have built, but definitely a fun one
  4. I think it’s probably more like “ While the husband’s away, the wife will play”. He just hasn’t figured out why all his children look different yet. It’s gonna eventually end up on a horrible Maury show episode
  5. I can’t think of any Macross kits they’ve done under 1/72. The way they did the knee joints impressed me on the Regult and I hope that that kind of innovation carries over to the Glaug.
  6. If the kids all look different, he might not be the one that strayed.
  7. Just saw that it’s up for preorder. Nice to see the last of the Regult variants, now they can work on the Glaug and power armors or maybe a gnerl for fun
  8. Basically yes to everything. Not sure what color the base figure under is

He never really got to fully enjoy the steak and you don’t get to either
  10. That’s pretty strange. But it’s neat. I don’t the the modern U.S. postal service would celebrate anything that violent on our stamps. Too many incidents of people going postal in our mail system probably would make them shy away from it. I guess the most popular table top games here are are more like monopoly and over there it’s Warhammer. It is gaining a bit of popularity over here again lately. More Warhammer/citadel hobby stores are opening up, but a bit pricey unfortunately, but it is getting the word of mouth going.
  11. That Votoms Full metal Panic show was pretty epic
  12. I’ve lucked out and haven’t received any damaged collectibles, but I feel like the outer. Ices have taken extensive damage from shipping that it’s only a matter of time before it happens. I get the feeling that fedex and dhl and ups have no pride in their workers. When I get things stateside through standard mail the boxes are pretty nice. But there are plenty of videos and pictures of workers manhandling boxes at airports and distribution centers and even the people doing the deliveries. It’s not every worker though, but the bad apples may be spreading
  13. The kickstarter one was close, but I didn’t like the odd turned torso. And there was the more Acapulco style one with a throne that’s articulated, but doesn’t have a full cape???.
  14. Honestly, other than the dark shadows on the face and detail on the belt, this is the Batman I was thinking of when I saw the picture of the figure. It’s too bad Tod hasn’t done a spawn figure that is articulated and looks as close to the comics that he had done himself. He’s gotten close, but there’s always an odd let down moment
  15. I saw this at the bbts site the other day and thought it had a pretty interesting look. The only things I really don’t like is that the rifle looks really out of place and it looks like the knee guards move with the thigh rather than the lower legs. I had to get into a crawl space to relight a water heater the other day and was really wishing I had bought some knee guards, and it the crouching pictures of this figure the knee guards are in a way that probably would end in more knee/shin pain than I had after the work was done
  16. I haven’t bought a Batman figure in a long time. I might get that Knightfall version, because even though it doesn’t look like the art that’s shown, it does look like a pretty good basic Batman action figure
  17. Thanks. That’s kinda what I figured I have the original ones, but these do look good. I’m not sure if I want to try and get them or not even though that warrior one is pretty tempting with all the extra stuff.
  18. Are these the same as the previous release versions with new finish? The warrior one appears to have a few new accessories, but I have mine boxed up after the move, so I can’t compare these to the original releases
  19. They haven’t shown a prototype yet, so I’m thinking next year.
  20. It depends on the kit. Most are similar to hg kits as far as construction. Some seam lines and such a little bit of cement helps on parts that are loose, but nothing crazy.
  21. I like them. I think the question was asked a page or two back, but they’re pretty good overall. They are a bit different than the Bandai stuff and depending on the kit they sometimes sacrifice articulation for looks. There are more seams than your average hg Bandai kit, so there may be a little more work. I think on the other page I compared them to earlier hguc kits as far as feel. But for me it’s all about the variety of designs that Bandai and many other companies ignore. I’ve been buying there stuff since the first Obsolete kit that came packed with a magazine and whenever I see a kit of franchise that I love, I feel like there’s a good chance they’ll finish a line. The best thing I can say is to find one that interests you and give it a try. The Obsolete ones are fun and tiny. The E.D.209 is big and fun or the Patlabor ones are all pretty great. The Escaflowne kits look amazing, but the articulation gets blocked a little by their own design but look amazing on a shelf.
  22. Sometimes you just gotta have a little fun, even if it’s horrifying. The regult reminds me of one of those odd Robotech sentinels things and the gundam looked more like a possible paint and masking experiment gone overboard. Either that or the gundam was just making fun of the way the standard gundam paint jobs always look a bit like aggressive clowns
