  1. It made it sound like they just got out of the cars, I’m pretty sure they will have a lot of car combat and still plenty of things that can go wrong, but I still wanna see it
  2. I know amazon had a few cheap starter sets that had things like nippers and sanding sticks, but you’d have to search. The common glue I’d recommend would be tamiya extra thin, since it’s pretty easy to find at most hobby shops and amazon. There’s also starter sets for gundam markers, since as a beginner that may be pretty simple for touch ups. Most items are probably easy to find on amazon or basic hobby sites you may not need the glue or really much more than something to trim out the parts. I’ve used small nail clippers back in the day.
  3. Have you had any experience with model kits? if you’re not a kit builder, these aren’t complicated anyway. You can get away with using things you already have like if you don’t have nippers, use a nail clipper and as a bonus some cheap nail clippers already have a file to rub down the nubs left behind if you don’t have sand paper. I do recommend some simple items like nippers or a sanding sponge and maybe a black gundam panel line marker or even a basic gundam marker set. Maybe a thin styrene glue like tamiya extra thin. Those are pretty much all you would really need if you just want to snap it out and display it. I don’t really know if there’s gonna be any need for color correcting of any parts, but they usually keep that to a minimum. I really won’t know until the kit comes out. But I wouldn’t let anything scare you off. Just keep in mind that even though the age ranges are for adults on the box, they make these things for kids in mind. There of course will be room for a more experienced builder to do things like remove seam lines and paint or customize, but that’s always optional as to how far you want to take things.
  4. i figured there’d be option sets coming, but it unfortunately doesn’t look like extra hands are included in these option packs
  5. I guess they didn’t wanna get sued by power rangers. But this actually makes it more relevant. I loved that show No he graduated, so now he’s gonna tell that to everyone
  6. There’s a shampoo for that
  7. I was checking the wave version of the rerelease since it’s a good amount cheaper than the Orange Cat initial release at bbts and wanted to see if it still had the extras. I might be wrong, but I don’t see the decals or stand included with the wave rerelease. I think I’ll keep my preorder that I put in back in March since this release might not have those items. I did see that wave is offering a stand that looks like the one included with the initial release, but as a separate purchase, but I don’t see anything about the decals as an extra purchase.
  8. I didn’t really care much for the original. I think the premise seemed so ridiculous that I couldn’t get into the movie. The acting wasn’t bad and most of the story could’ve been interesting, but the idea just lost me
  9. The animation style looks modern like the wannabe anime style like totally spies or avatar, but the color reminds me of the old Superman cartoon from Max Fleischer.
  10. Rip cord seems like an odd choice. Does he just climb out and jump? And then you got him paired up with a guy that rather than wearing a helmet, decided that cowboy hat was fine. It’s like rip cord was so afraid of how wild bill flies that he had to put on every bit of safety gear on, either that or Wild Bill smokes so much that rip cord needed the extra breathing equipment and when he can’t take it anymore he’s outta there. Honestly now that I think of it, I remember this casino that we stopped by that still allowed smoking indoors and I get how someone might just wanna bail
  11. The damsel in distress was a tired idea, but the replacement idea is just as bad. Wendy takes on the action in Peter Pan or Ariel kills Ursula in the remakes, or as far as the marvel stuff there little girl iron man or teen girl Hawkeye and She Hulk that’s supposedly stronger than her seemingly dumb cousin Hulk. And then there curmudgeonous Willow with every character getting replaced by their daughter or the new Indy having to deal with Flea bag and not to forget that Rey is taking the mantle as The Jedi because luke belonged in a retirement home. there are other film and tv shows doing this, but they’re not running it into the ground as bad as Disney
  12. They really can’t resist throwing metallic paint on these
  13. Normally I would say yes, but this is Disney and they love to do the whole replacement thing these days and make the dudes seem more useless with every movie.
  14. I haven’t seen any pictures of a harem, so I’m guessing the lady was keeping things on the downlow
  15. I kinda figured bbts would have a bit of a markup, but not that much. In a few days you could try and see if the new kit pops up on any other sites for less, but it’s a little tougher finding wave kits than Bandai
  16. Even in the art, you can see they followed a straight line rather than one at an angle. The top of the stabilizer has a corner showing rather than a straight edge like the toy at the top of the line. It’s just an odd angle that the artwork uses that probably threw them off
  17. I kinda think it makes it look like they’re going in reverse or something. I try not to pay attention to it, but they do look weird
  18. You could see how much the price is at one of the U.S. sites if that’s where you’re located. Bbts and Usags usually get wave kits, but the preorder usually comes up a week or so after they do in Japan. I don’t know if these sites will have a markup though
  19. It looks like they went for a lot of texture in the cloth, maybe that’s what’s holding back the posing. I’ve been tempted on some of their releases, but I’m not a big enough fan of cloth on action figures personally. The smaller scale appeals to me, but I guess I haven’t been convinced that cloth is the way to go in this size
