The only hate I have is there loose hip and shoulder joints and the failure to re-release the 25S. I love the gloss paint and I think they have excellent tampo and detail. On a note outside of Macross, I have a Bandai SH Figure Arts Iron Man Mark 7 that is in my opinion, pound for pound, one of the best Iron Man figures out there. Have to admit also, there is something really cool about sliding the Valk out of Bandai's Plastic Bag they wrap it in.

For me, i love the blue because it makes it look like the macross series and like a toy. I know I'm in the minority as most prefer them to look realistic, but I like having them appear like they came right out of the dvd of Frontier.

The entire VF development though and the original F-14 battle is epic though, i guess my problem is really just about how it could have beeb, but they didn't write it just for me . I'd buy an Arcadia Zero F -14 in a heartbeat .

Zero would have been a great origin story but it had the whole bird people and love stick thing that made you just skip to the next mecha scene. All that kept it from being a total failure was that the pilots actually piloted the valk rather than playing a guitar.

I'd say 5 or 6, I had a jetfire when I was that young, if you're worried about a choke risk, you can always just keep the heatshield and armor off of it. One thing a lot of people forget that is a choke hazard are large decals. I wouldn't sticker it if they are really really young. Another thing to consider with the chunky is if there are more than one youngster. If there's more than one, the chunky could easily cause cranial damage to another kid. If its just one little doobie than the only thing at risk are your walls, TV, and anything else valuable that could be impacted when he throws it to see if it flies. I think the warning on the box for 15 and up is crazy, A kid can drive a car in the U.S. at 16. That would mean just 6 years after you can play with a chunky monkey you can legally buy alcohol. (not commenting, responding, or arguing with 3D's comment above, I'm commenting on the box's information only)

The Alto 25F Armor is almost impossible to find, you can find and grab Ozma's armor very easily for aroun 100-150. Alto though, forget about it.

Yes, there are a two additional things I can think of that the reissue 27 does not have that the 25 renewal has: ( I recommend we move this to the 27 forum if it continues) 1. The 27 can not bring its arm straight out to the side from the shoulder like the 25. (detailed in anymoon's "half step back" comment) 2. The 27 can not fit the articulated hands into figher mode seamless like the 25 which is why Bandai packaged the reissue of the 27 with the knive hands. Although you can fit the articulated ones in there, they look jammed up. Back to the 25's, based on the current trend, I think Bandai will likely issue a rainbow colored VF-25, a VF-25 with a unicorn horn on the nose, a Luca custom YF-29 without a radar dish, a Koenig Monster with tires instead of legs, and a Macross Quarter that is solid Yellow before we will get the reissue of the 25-S Ozma renewal.

Next month could be the month for the Ozma Reissue of the 25S. I think they did the resissue of the 25F last year in April. I hope it comes soon.

I grabbed one because of what's happened with the VF-X with Yamato. No not to make money, but idont want to want one years from now and find out its a rare and expensive valk. The VF-X was one readily available just like this one. I also think it will look great with the canopy open and a ground crew around it inside a chain base.

perhaps the biggest challenge in the transformation issue of the DX 25 series is the fact that because they are hard to get and expensive, there is a "fear" factor that plays in very heavily when your transforming them. You know if you break it your out serious cash and may never get another one.

I know this is a stretch but if someone can deliver it would a great resource. I am new, completely new to the MG series and want to start playing. I have no idea how the story line goes from past to present because it jumps so much and is confusing for a first timer to try to figure out. Could someone give a past to present time line with description of events the game it corresponds to and the character so I could follow along and enjoy when I start playing? If possible what I'm looking for is past to present in the story line with cooresponding games, not past to present in games with corresponding story line. I hope that makes since because the games jump around.

They are cool as hell. I remember the MP series and I wasn't at a spot in my life to spend that kind of cash when I saw them in the toy fair magazine. Just because modern expressions have exceeded them doesn't mean they are not still what they are. I'd love to have all of them displayed in their book boxes on a shelf. I'll shoot straight on the CF 171. I have bought 3 of them and had no issue at all. That being said, members on here have had terrible experiences with some, I think there was a qty of the run that perhaps was produced with tolerances off or something because there is a batch that are bad but you won't know till you open it. -

Never noticed the YF-25 Prophecy in this picture until now, pretty sure thats it but I can't see PROPHECY written on the fuselage.

I don't think the 25G will be reissued. Its almost been a year since they reissued the 25F and we haven't gotten anything since in regards to reissue valks, even if they do, at the rate were going now, the 25G wouldn't be reissued until 4th quarter 2015.

Can someone gelp me with a difficulty I'm having? Its in regards to going from battroid to fighter on the 25 renewal. Specific is the area where you push the landing gear/nose cone up under the cheat piece and it locks. I can never get it back out and always feel like I'm going to either break the chest by pulling to far up to release the nose cone area or I'm going to snap the chest piece off because The nose cone is locked behind it. How do you release it so it comes out freely?

luckily there still available pretty freely. NY has them for 180 and they are all over ebay under 200. I took advantage of the access, I have one on display and two sealed. I remember when the 25F was a grail relic demanding 4 to 500. Once supply dries up it will climb again. I also think the 25 that will be the most rare is the 25G. I don't think it will be reissued, it's already creeping towards $300.00. To be clear, I didn't buy to turn a profit, I just don't want to have to spend that kind of money if mine broke, yellowed, or I wanted a second a few years down the road.
