The best i saw was the flat gray of the prototype of the 30 at the beginning of the thread. Honestly, i didnt know what the 30 was so i actually thought the prototype color was the true color.

I never liked the rwo lined on the jaw area that make it look like its smiling at you like an evil joker. I love the 25-s but i think it eould look a lot cooler without those lines. ...

That would piss me off. All of my dx valks were normal tight on the joints and took a while to be super loose. I didnt know it was a regular and common thing for dx valks to be super loose right out of the box. Now that i know, I guess I'm very lucky mine were ok for a while.

My comment wasn't directet at Mandarake, its specific to Buying the DX valk line used. I've had great experiences with them with the VF-1 line, but i think people risk a lot buying a used dx from overseas due fo the joint issue. I could see throwing the dice on some of the mid range dx valks but never on an Ozma. I'm not posting this to disagree, i just want to be clear I'm not knocking Mandarake. I agree that i wiuld risk it with them but not with any overseas site on a used dx valk.

I also do not see the 25 Ozma being issued again until 2016. It will be at least 1.5- 2 years. They may never reissue it, if you think back with the exception of the 29 Roy version, the only dx valks bandai has reissued have been Alto variants.

I wouldn't take the risk with a high end dx like the 25s on mandarake, you could spend 300-400 and get one with very loose hips and joints. I would be pissed to pay that money and the have to tighten joints because the toy was compromised.

It is reaching critical mass on just about every non proxy site. Prices of VF-1 Yamato's are all sky rocketing. The standard Hikaru 1J Yamato's are pulling over 250 used on Mandarake. Ebay is still as high as ever for every type: Bandai or Yamato Valk. The DX 25G and S are 300 and 400 respectively. The industry really really needs some production to be released into the market.

Agreed.and the VF-1S Hikaru and Roy did not compare to Yamato's old Quality Control standards.

The head turret guns actually being hollow or having a hole at the top to simulate they are a barrel. Ratchet Joints with precision steps in the ratchet to allow finely tuned lockable posing. I can't believe in 2014 your only option is a ratchet joint with half inch positions or a ball joint that gets loose. They should be able to engineer a ratchet joint with mm steps. A stomach crunch/tilt function, VF-1 desigs need this more than other designs. A pilot in a standing position as well as a cockpit version CAMERA DETAIL OR CAMERA STRUCTURE behind the visor. I think this is a huge miss across the board but looks great when its been executed like on the 25G and YF-25

It was you ! . I sold my zero collection a few days ago planning on getting the cash for that 1/60 max 1J. When i went on it was gone. My bad, i think that's a 1/48 Max isn't it? -
I may grab one months later after the triangle breakage is either confirmed again as present or confirmed as fixed. This valk will be around and available. I'm not confident enough to put my money in hoping its fixed. If i do buy it (if the breakage is confirmed as fixed) I'm going to put green LEDS along the outside edge to illuminate it like the animation.
