  1. I'm glad to see Arcadia taking a page from Bandai and painting or using black/gray plastic on the underside of the valks instead of just leaving them bare same color plastic. It really just sets off the whole thing. I'm not counting the 30th 1J as a valid example of their future production standards, although it was black underneath, it was part of a larger aggressive paint scheme and not part of a standard production practice. I'm using the two 1S's which had no different colors on the underside. I hope the do it with everything going forward. The contrast is awesome and it looks a lot cleaner.
  2. If the max isnt sealed could you post some pics? If it is sealed by all means keep it the way it is.
  3. Best advice I've seen on this topic regarding the G. It may run against common logic, but I think its best to get the parts first and wait on the valk than vice-versa when it comes to Bandai.
  4. My 4th 25 F is inbound. I will have a solid Alto at every point in my life now. When I am 80 I will have a tight perfect F.
  5. Not sure where that's from but I'm sure its funny. "Did you callest my maiden large?"
  6. Not at all. We all just rally to their defense anytime someone mentions another company approaching their mark. Back to the thread though, does anyone have a tip on how to open the missile bay doors safely? Mine are scary tight.
  7. Not sure if this is about Bandai or a passionate defense of Yarcadia. I feel like I just called someones wife fat. Yarcadia will forever be special to all of us. Mess with Yarcadia and reap the anger.
  8. To clear things up, i wasn't trying to say the 30 is better than Yarcadia, I said Bandai is exceeding Arcadia in the strides they are making in their respective lines. They are evolving faster in my opinion, i tried to state that clearer in the comment that followed the first post. Yarcadia may still have an edge but that's comparing toy to toy, I'm comparing the speed of the toys evolution in improvements etc, not the toys quality against the other toy. This may be difficult to wrap around as I may not be communicating it the right way. In short, I think Bandai evolved much faster from the v1 vf-25 to the renewal 25, 29, and 30 than Yarcadia evolved from their v1 1/60 to the VF-4G. I used those two examples because the 30 and the 4G are the height of engineering for each company from my view.
  9. I'm down with Isamu's 29 also. It had a lot of critics, but Its one of my favorite pieces.
  10. Yep, Yarcadia better step it up. They aren't evolving at the speed Bandai is.
  11. I think Bandai has exceeded Yarcadia with the YF-30. The presentation, tampo, hidden transformation, etc is outstanding. You can clearly see that Bandai continues to improve and better itself while Yarcadia has not changed or improved since the V-2's were released. I don't count QC issues like the shoulders, rainbow canopy, and crotch mechanism being improved. The basics of them are unchanged. I know many will disagree, but i think the lead Yarcadia had is gone and they need to step it up or they will be left in the dust. The two things that Yarcadia still has the lead on is joint longevity and more experience engineering different valks. That lead and the comfort that comes from it is shrinking though.
  12. My biggest regret was the day I looked and said, "What is this Macross Frontier thing?" I now have renewals everywhere.
  13. Its a blend with me. A buy some for display and handling and when I like one of those a lot, I grab 1 or 2 to keep MIB. I like knowing "when this things gets loose or if this thing chips or breaks" I have another perfect copy as a backup. I can really enjoy them a lot more without that background anxiety of it getting loose, damaged, chipped, etc.
  14. I'm not a super parts guy on VF-25's but I am a Armor Parts guy for the 25F and 25S. I got my Ozma Armor about a year ago and got Alto's armor a few months ago. I dropped 3 on Alto's.
  15. I'm positive the option parts and seat riser will be included. I also am confident pre orders will be fine, that seems to be a Bandai phenom.
  16. Poor Sam has but 2 of the Ozma 29. I covet the one known as David.
  17. I'm buying it. Flat out as soon as it posts for preorder. I hope they stick with the flip top lids.
  18. I think bandai is beating yamarcadia in tampo now.
  19. Display it static in fighter or limit to 1 transformation sequence , take care during that sequence and you will always have a tight new condition valk. Its too cool of a piece to keep hidden. Sorry chunky, you are too fat and ugly for me to stay home.
  20. Hoping for some Help I received my 2nd copy of the Ozma 29 today and noticed something that seems to be a trend and I wanted to confirm it with others on here before I attempt a return. On both of my Ozma 29's the left leg wobbles left to right at the connection piece that goes into the metal intake. Its the gray piece that connects into the rear of the metal intake. I opened it up and there is no defect it just wobbles and the right side does not. Could you guys please check yours and let me know?
  21. I am also in on the camp with the locking tail fins, once these get loose its going to be a nightmare in the mode that used to hide the loose joints that ruined a toy- fighter.
  22. I love how it has the upper intake of the engine hidden under the plane above the lower intake.
  23. I was a fan of the gloss. I still dig my 30 but hope we see the gloss in other releases.
