  1. Today
  2. So getting this FSS Engage SR3 completed and I find out I had selected the incorrect hand to hold the cannon. Since this is a non articulated kit, the hand was securely glued in place so I had to drill it out and will need to replace it the correct hand. So more priming, painting etc… for such a small piece, but not a big deal. Besides that snafu I just need to add a few decals and call it good enough. The build has been fun, but I really did a sloppy job on keeping the paint clean, dust and lint free which is a let down. Lessons to be learned yet again in this hobby. Excited to make my next build even better. 👍
  3. Oh yeah, I bought a Porsche! ...wait, I think you meant the kid. Who is definitely something to live for... even if she will NOT be driving the Porsche when she turns 16.
  4. Too many injuries and deaths. We watched a security guard break his ankle on one of those. He hit a little bump that pushed him forward. He lost his footing and so his body was pushed up it made the thing accelerate over his foot and the weight crunched his ankle. Can’t remember if it was the inventor or the owner of the company that died on one. to be fair, the thing really wasn’t practical for what they originally marketed it for. It was expensive and wide and surprisingly heavy making portability tough and e-bikes and scooters came out with cheaper lighter thinner options
  5. She was in a lot of big movies and such when I was growing up. We lost quite a few legendary names this year and hopefully they’re all having an amazing party in the afterlife
  6. Was curious about that one. I never intended to be a lifelong cat owner, but it seems they’re always there either as pets or strays that we feed to keep the rats away. Had some rats eat the engine wires in my car a few months back and haven’t seen them return after bribing the local stray. Still got three indoors and a couple that protect the property
  7. With KC the products were prepared from my understanding through a kickstarter type of program. They would legally be required to honor the prices at the time, although shipping is a different matter. They basically could just cancel outright and refund, or send things out as originally stated from the contract, or they may up charge on shipping. But there’s also the wait it out and see if the situation changes. I don’t know if they added any additional stipulations in the initial orders that may add an extra fee to cover tariffs, since many of the orders were made before that was going to be an issue. I just wish they’d give a clear answer to those that did support them
  8. WOW. Time really flies. I vaguely remember you talking about her coming into the world and the impact it had on you. I'm happy for you. You found something to live for beyond the valks with boobs lol. Forums truly were home for me. After a hard day's work I would rush home and punch up MW to find the latest piece of controversy that Agent One had stirred up, or the newest train wreck argument over cold air intakes on LS1tech.com, and so many other countless places where I'd spend hours reading, learning, chatting, and even shamelessly causing trouble, from time to time. Just why did most of us stop going to places like these? Maybe I'm just too old now, but I can't remember. Miss you guys...
  9. More like Godzilla -0.00 You Can (Not) Kaiju
  10. Ah thank you very much, good trivia to know
  11. I can't wait for Godzilla Minus Negative One.
  12. Again, I don't what was stated there prior to the implementation of tariffs. However, what you say could apply to Amazon, yet Amazon policy is/was to honor pricing regardless of tariffs. Unfortunately, their solution is to cancel orders and not state that was why. With KC, I wonder if they might still be responsible for fulfilling the orders, at least legally, as written.
  13. Or, you know, just use rattlecans. 😉
  14. So it's just a change in the material used. No changes on the mold. I see. Thanks.
  15. Getting to around the midpoint of the season, and I'm a little disappointed by how many titles I've tried have faded into glorified white noise. Let This Grieving Soul Retire, Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota, My Friend's Little Sister Has It In For Me, A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai, Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right, and A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace all just feel like background noise-tier TV now. Most of them aren't really doing anything with their premises at all and the ones that are are doing the bare minimum formulaic effort. I've been having a lot more fun revisiting some older titles with my watch group. We're crawling through the entire Tenchi-verse one title at a time in parallel with some other titles from past seasons like The Ascendance of a Bookworm and Overtake!.

  17. Back in 2016, DX9's "Tyrant" and FansToys "Sovereign" were released, and both were well-received by the fandom. Nonetheless, collectors wondered why -- five years after the release of Masterpiece Rodimus -- TakaraTomy still hadn't produced an MP Galvatron. Who would've believed, with the release of Sovereign 2.0 a decade later, we'd STILL be wondering? 😂
  18. Currently watching and enjoying: Gnosia. Nyaight of the Living Cat. Tojima Wants to be a Kamen Rider. Given up on One Punch Man, season 3 after 2 episodes.
  19. What's the difference? My Premium Finish one is in storage so I can't compare. Edit: I took this pic from Anymoon.com. I still don't notice any mold changes.
  20. Same! The new films are mostly better than the rubber suit Godzilla we grew up with, lol.
  21. (Genuinely asking) please help me understand how'd that worked out with the Arcadia Macross I pre-ordered last year from HLJ, that now has 4X shipping fees and cost reflecting this year?
  22. I'm in for all Godzilla, Minus One, MonsterVerse, Toho and Legendary, I love all Godzilla equally. Toho delivers on thoughtful Godzilla, Legendary delivers on Showa Godzilla with a US blockbuster budget, I love it all.
  23. Here's some quick bridge shots:
  24. It would be pretty wild if they couldn't pass on costs that didn't exist previously. My impression from Kickstarter is that the protections lie almost entirely with the company, not the backers.
  25. Yesterday
  26. RIP Diane Ladd. Diane was in a lot of films but my favorite was David Lynch's Wild at Heart with her daughter Laura Dern. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/diane-ladd-dead-alice-doesnt-live-here-anymore-wild-at-heart-1236416794/
  27. I'm not sure they could pass those on to us now, although I haven't consulted the fine print.
