  1. Past hour
  2. Time Crisis.. I loved that game. Don't forget House of the Dead... that one was fun, too. I need to look up this Sinden light gun.
  3. So I was taking a look in my photos from this year and I have over 20 builds! That’s way too many to share. Here are a few I am proud of. In 2026 I want to slow down on my output and make my building more refined and raise the bar for myself on quality not quantity. *looks like I’m a huge FSS fanboy. 😊
  4. 😳 you are all set! Wow
  5. Right, its more or less like that. I think in Canon they say that the gas is the same basic gas types used in Blasters, its just the its charged by a larger powered laser. So it works kind of the same way, but using a laser instead of being energized by the power source. I also don't think it uses a crystal to focus its beam IIRC, it just compresses in the barrel like blaster but then fires a more broad strong beam.
  6. Today
  7. Getting ready for when retirement comes in ~10-15 years. Want to make sure I have stuff to keep me busy. Some of these I bought as a kid all the way back in the β€˜80s.
  8. @electric indigo ✌️that’s a good looking year no doubt. I like the idea of a recap and might post my output too later today. One of my goals this year is to finally purchase a resin kit and will reach out to you for some sage advice. @ThomLooking good. I’m excited to see how the yellow turns out. I have had great results with clear MR color on clear parts.
  9. So last day of the year! In the Armoured Trooper V.O.T.O.M. series it's been a busy year, with lots of nice release, in both models as well as action figure releases! Surprising for a series that's over 40 years old! Next year will be pretty expensive as well with already 3 releases shown to be releasing in the Hi-Metal R line, and I'm sure TakaraTomy will also be bringing 3 or more V.O.T.O.M. in the TSpark line in 1/48! As for Bandai in the Hi-Metal R line, my prediction; after the ATH-Q64 Berserga is released is.... 1) X-ATH-02 Strike Dog 2) ATM-09-WR Marthydog 3) ATM-09- ST Turbo Custom from the Berkoff Squad with accessories as an ad on pack! 4) ATH-06-WP Diving-beetle So with that I wish everyone here, A HAPPY & EXPENSIVE, New Year! πŸ₯³πŸ˜±πŸΎπŸŽ‰..... and have fun collecting. πŸ˜‰
  10. Err...was getting RDJ in Tropic Thunder vibes myself.
  11. I've had good luck with Bandai warranties stateside when I've had need of them.
  12. The one I got was sold as new and unopened. It in fact was opened and someone who had gotten a broken antenna took the antenna out and sent it back. Amazoon would only return and refund, and bandai responded to me after 3 months saying there were no replacement parts and they would be doing nothing to remedy my situation. Hopefully you get a good new one, its a pretty sweet one.
  13. In support of @BroTaku79, gotta post the new threezero adapters just received today. Thanks again for the awesome stands!!! I'm pretty sure the last pic is an unsupported configuration, lol
  14. Ah, but "American-made Robotech" has been conceived and miscarried so often it's hard to keep track. The Sentinels was stillborn, The Shadow Chronicles died in the crib, Robotech 3000 and Academy were flushed before they could become fetal matter, and whatever Sony claims to have developed isn't even a glint in the milkman's eye. πŸ™„ Books are the only American-made Robotech media to have survived infancy, and that's where obvious lifts from other sci-fi franchises become apparent. Indeed, some of the more recent comics have borrowed liberally from unrelated Macross sequels (even tracing artwork outright, if I'm not mistaken), leading to their untimely demise... ...but I don't think Cyrus customizing his prototypes is going to hurt his business any more than it's already hurting. πŸ˜’
  15. Nice: reminds me of mine: Splitting the middle pylon was a royal pain:
  16. Yeah, it's a lousy time to be into tech. My Batocera box is coming along... now that I finally got around to opening it up, yanking the SSD, and sticking it into a different computer to actually install Batocera. Tried to install Batocera on a USB drive, then using that boot to install Batocera to the SSD, but it failed. Then you have to put it back in back in the original box and boot it so Batocera can do it's initial setup, before shutting it down, pulling the SSD again, and connecting it to a third computer (this time running Linux) because that's still the easiest way to load the games. Of which, it turns out, I have a bit more than 1TB I want to use. Now, the Beelink SER5 I bought has a second m.2 slot, but a quick check online tells me that we're already at the point where even a 512GB drive costs about what a 1TB drive did a few months ago. I was originally hoping to do complete or near-complete North American sets for everything up to Dreamcast, but I'm going to have to whittle the CD-based consoles down to just what I might actually play, especially because I want to get a few PS2 and Gamecube games on there. But, hey, I hear Sinden light guns are pretty much plug-and-play with Batocera now, so I ordered one of those. I'll make sure the Time Crisis, Point Blank, Virtua Cop, etc games make the cut.
  17. Reminded me a bit of this one.
  18. Or.. just focus on a product that clearly represents the series it's taken from, maybe? Not to be a stick in the mud about having fun, this just feels ill-advised for them to be parading around random variants and possibilities, when many of the people who pre-ordered are still waiting for the original product. Maybe there's not much they can do while waiting for production, but showing off things that probably won't ever get produced probably isn't doing them any favors.
  19. Curious what you're referring to? The comics? Robotech has been dead for a long time.
  20. Isn't this kind of weird stuff that killed America made Robotech a few years ago?
  21. It's weird that there's all these faces suddenly showing up being mixed in with the official characters in the soldier range. Just confuses folks especially there's just so many variants now that are still yet unreleased. It would be better to clearly label them as a 'What If' range or something..
  22. Here are the missile bay based on the Legioss inner frame. I’m open to any suggestions and ideas.
  23. I think he was giving away the Arnold homage with his Terminator repaint custom. The facial hair thing is interesting as questions about grooming lead to questions about culture pretty quickly.
  24. Zentradi in the original Macross series run the full gamut of Human skin tones and onwards into Amazing Technicolor Population territory with Vrlitwhai being a baby blue behemoth and Quamzin being a sort of light lavender. The beard is new, tho. I don't think we see a Zentradi with facial hair before Macross Digital Mission VF-X in '97. Also, is it just me or do these facial sculpts look... familiar? Like this one is just straight-up Arnold Schwarzenegger c. Terminator. That's literally the same face he's making on the Terminator poster, just without the sunglasses. And I wanna say this one looks like a young Laurence Fishburne...
