  1. Past hour
  2. @Big s @electric indigo thanks you two. I‘m really happy with how this one turned out. Honestly the amazing killer design/sculpt helped carry me to a nice conclusion. I did learn a few things along the way and had a lot of fun with the work flow which is the best part for me.
  3. Hey, at least making the 17S first means they can just repop it in red for Milia's version, which I will absolutely pick up just for the novelty. I'm still minorly salty that Yamato never made that one.

    1/55's revisited

Where is the purchase link? Common @treatment get with it! 🤣
  5. Ain't no way they are done doing M7 and Gamlin dirty. They still need to sell you a partsforming 22 with integral gunpods that drag on the floor, to really seal their bean counters' narrative on popularity of the franchise. But I'm still willing to believe they are open to waiting a year or so and then coming back with a couple new molds to release a 17D with "minor updates", and then giving the 17S a revival based on that though.
  6. I stumbled upon this version of Macross II's "Mou Ichido Love You", in English. Now what I'am wondering/curious about is, is this a fan cover or a official/unofficial release? It sounds really good to my untrained ears. I've looked on the internet for anything about an English version or cover of Mou Ichido, and all I get is the English anime Dubb version or just a straight English translation of the original Japanese version. I can't even find a download or anything. It's driving me crazy trying to figure out where this is from or who made/sang it?
  7. As expected, the VF-25 kit is about 50% YF-29 - enough part commonality to make it worth the trouble. This does give me hope for a YF-30, and maybe - just maybe - a VF-27.
  8. Today
  9. I was just curious, haven’t seen all the movies or read the books. I think I saw the first three movies, but really couldn’t tell you much about them. My daughter kinda grew out of those and into the hunger games around then
  10. That's a nice bug you got there.
  11. Since I already have 3 variants of the Hot Toys 1/6 scale Mandalorian figures, I don't really need the new version from the Mandalorian & Grogu movie. I prefer the Hot Toys - TMS052 The Mandalorian & Grogu (Deluxe Version) which has Boba Fett's armour, The Dark Saber and Beskar Spear. If you have not already purchased a Hot Toys 1/6 scale version of Din Djarin - The Mandalorian, then this figure would be an excellent figure to own. The head sculpt is better again and Din Djarin's flight suit is now the correct colour of brown. Depending on your preference, the armour is cleaner with less dirt and grime.
  12. Not real complaints, just nit picking. Example is my wife thinks the series should reflect the era they were written, the late 1990s into the aughts, without modern slang which she got a hint of in the trailer. We'll watch it of course. I'm not a HP fan so I feel I have no stake in this series.
  13. Thanks! It's a shame that Bandai did not put more effort into producing the other Orgroids. One Piece - Glitter & Glamours Nico Robin (Egghead Style) Figure
  14. Buyee has mine in hand, I elected for 15 day shipping as I'm being eated alive with tarrifs...
  15. The colors are absolutely stunning. Great work. This thing is a real beauty and definitely competition worthy
  16. Been a while since I last went to the theaters. I think John Wick 4 and Top Gun were the lasts ones... before that, a limited release I saw in the theaters was the Shin Ultraman/ Wonder how widespread Hathaway will be avail at theaters.
  17. Well it’s late…I mean early anyway Bellvine is done. I was super loose on this and had lots of fun. Didn’t mask anything and tried out some paint layering and filtering that was new to me. I should have spent more time on seam removal and surface prep but here we are. 🙃
  18. The Geekbench score showed a ~9.7% uplift while doubling the FPS in No Man's Sky. After adding on the liquid cooler, Geekbench jumped up to 18.6% uplift. Cinebench multi-core gained 9.23% uplift with the copper mod and 19.08% uplift with the liquid cooler. Cinebench single core only showed ~5.78% with the copper-only and 23.51% uplift with liquid. The copper added more thermal mass so I can see some added uplift vs thermal pad-only but the end result is dumping the heat into the backplate. ZTT and the others just added a thermal pad to bridge the graphine sticker-pad to the chassis backplate. The copper ETA made a difference by adding more thermal mass.
  19. It’s a nice color, as with Olson’s. Which just reminds me, Bandai seems to be done with just a single release.
  20. Never really got into it. To me the trailer doesn’t look much different than the movies from a few years back other than the colors seem a bit different. What were your wife’s complaints?
  21. Are we certain these aren't just stock that arrived in rough shape so far? 😉
  22. It's important to note that this is basically a Kickstarter-style campaign - if they don't sell 2,000 units, it isn't getting made. No explicit mention of EN subs means they probably aren't included, so keep that in mind.
  23. No EN subs, the official page made that pretty clear. I am expecting a DNR fiasco so I will refrain from buying until it is released. I watched the 35mm presentation in Japan last year and it looked absolutely incredible, the film stock is in extremely good condition.
