  1. Past hour
  2. The Yamato ghost showed up on my door the other day, together at last! Had to google ‘how to make peg thicker when the hole is too big’ to overcome the obvious fitment issue.🫢
  3. Slightly off topic: but the animated film Highlander: The Search for Vengeance is good little flick. It’s tropey as hell, but has enough fun action and an interesting enough story to make for an entertaining watch. Definitely far more entertaining than the live-action sequel films. A low bar, I know. But I wouldn’t mind watching it again. . . if I could find the damn thing for free on a streaming service.
  4. Today
  5. Those flaps that stick out behind the smokestacks are so distracting. Why could7they just have them fold in behind the arms?
  6. It's too bad they couldn't get the battle damage correct. The sleep mode version will also be inaccurate. Maybe DNA can save it.
  7. I was thinking lately, Queen single hit - Princes Of The Universe from the Highlander franchise, fits for the new He-Man movie.
  8. ... an own goal, perhaps. Netflix acquires the distribution rights to the live-action Gundam movie starring the flop queen of 2025 and a guy whose big break outside Netflix romcoms was Black Adam? Big oof. The odds weren't exactly in this film's favor as it was.
  9. Not sure if I'll see this movie, but I must be of the right age, as seeing all those toys is bring back a flood of nostalgia. That said, I'm really curious if a Slime Pit and/or Glow-in-the-Dark Ring will appear in the movie? 🤣
  10. I love the original Highlander movie and it's Queen Soundtrack. Hated Highlander 2. Thought the live action TV series was OK. Can't remember any of the other movies or cartoons. I'm not generally a fan of reboots, but willing to be cautiously optimistic for this as it's Chad Stahelski directing and I'm a huge fan of the John Wick movies.
  11. thank you, I've been at it for just a couple years, tho' hadn't felt compelled to post 'til now also got a Hi-Metal VF-1S in the mail today
  12. Goblin slaying, troll slaying, Giant slaying and dragon slaying all in the same day
  13. I suspect the Japanese companies are good to their Japanese customers but issues have to be found immediately after release... A couple months later and there's not a lot that can be done. For HK companies, KitzConcept was great until it dropped down to a one or two person company. Threezero has always had very poor service, generally because their toys are glued together and there's nothing that can be done short of full replacement. I sent them a broken Scopedog once and they sent me back the toy with the broken part fixed but a different joint broken... That's as close as they've come to helping. I was really hoping things would improve with robo dou but even simple requests are ignored

  15. I’m fortunate that I got a really nice version of the -1J without issues, and have two currently pre-ordered. Why the heck can’t these companies provide a certain level of customer service? Is it a cultural thing? Not enough people to deal with issues? To save face? Seems to me they are willing to lose repeat sales with ignoring valid consumer issues, especially in this niche market.
  16. Dude lookin like he's aboutu to go goblin slayin.
  17. It’s a really tough one for me there. The original was so great partly because of the soundtrack, but if they are trying to make a total reboot, maybe something else epic would work a bit better just because after seeing a new movie with such a similar soundtrack is kinda just gonna be a cheap copy rather than a total reboot. Problem is that there’s really no one as epic in the pop rock category these days, I think there are quite a few musically, but not vocally to carry that legacy and be able to write a rockin soundtrack. That being said Prnces of the Universe is still my favorite Queen song even if it has a big slice of cheese in the full version . It’s probably also my favorite movie theme song followed closely by Who Made Who and Danger Zone. The 80’s had great theme music
  18. Yeah, unfortunately for me the nearest one is about an hour away. I used to be only 15 minutes from one back at my old place. And of course after I move is when they started partnering somewhat with Bandai and doing the GBWC competitions and now this kind of promo He looks like a tough fighter now for sure Must be related to the robots from futurama
  19. Yep, and apparently robots like to guzzle down tankards of ale: That's a very cool promotion. I would totally bring my kids there if the nearest Hobbytown was within striking distance. My fighter got a promotion to a Warrior from a cheap option kit: With some panel lining and a couple coats of matte finish, these 30MF kits look pretty dang cool. They're relatively cheaper than other build-a-figure kits and the line doesn't seem to be slowing down - I'll definitely be keeping an eye on them.
