That sucks, but at least you got the cash back. I have a feeling that you could find them from other places, or that they will just get reissued eventually Quote

Froy Posted November 22 Posted November 22 (edited) Wasn't it supposed to be a Japanese release only? BBTS release date is for this month. Can't remember if it was pushed from October or September. Edited November 22 by Froy Quote

BBTS should have known MONTHS ago if they hadn't been able to secure inventory. Maybe Sentinel has indicated an international release is going to be announced soon and BBTS is waiting on that to coincide with an announcement that everyone's preorders will be part of that release whenever it's scheduled for. OR... maybe BBTS had them delivered by boat and there have been logistical hiccups. We should be finding out soon! Quote

Since it’s a Japan only item, they probably did what they do for Bandai web exclusives and have a purchaser that gets them and then ships them most likely by slow boat Quote
Froy Posted November 23 Posted November 23 (edited) @Mommar seems BBTS has an opening for a Tread as I'm writing this: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/299018 A $32 USD no refundable down payment tho. Edited November 23 by Froy Quote

Froy Posted November 23 Posted November 23 (edited) May also keep an eye on Mandarake https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1316737161&ref=list&keyword=Mospeada&lang=en https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1317233761&ref=list&keyword=Mospeada&lang=en A few have been popping up. I keep checking regularly for some Iotas. Check manually, run a search for "mospeada" or "tread. And don't relay on the alerts. For me in Mexico (center) start looking early in the morning around 7 am and at night past 8 pm has given me the best results. So far I could have striked like 2 Treads already but I only wanted one. Lol. Edited November 23 by Froy Quote
Papa Rat Posted November 28 Posted November 28 (edited) Not sure if there is an existing post for these kits so please delete if redundant. Preorders are up for the Moderoid Mospeada cyclones. https://www.hlj.com/moderoid-mospeada-vr-052f-stick-type-genesis-climber-mospeada-gsc18995 Edited November 28 by Papa Rat Quote

WhatBoutMyStar Posted November 28 Posted November 28 The Moderoid kits are up for preorder at a number of places like Good Smile, HLJ, Hobby Genki, etc. Quote

We can finally get some solid info, like measurements and MSRP. At a height of 16cm, that would make Ride Armor slightly smaller than the Sentinel figures... about equal to the old 1:12 Aoshima kits. ¥8000 per kit seems a little steep, but not unreasonable. Quote
505thAirborne Posted November 28 Posted November 28 @Morgen Black & @tekering, thanks guys, going to PO these kits. Quote

As others have said, pretty close. Came out to 6.29 inches at head height after everything is on. If you factor in the high heels, would probably be right at six inches, maybe a bit taller for the actual characters in 1/12th scale, but would probably not look out of place on a shelf with six inch group of figures Quote

sh9000 Posted November 29 Posted November 29 I would have loved it if Sentinel released Classic Ride Armors to begin with. Quote

electric indigo Posted November 30 Posted November 30 @F18LEGIOSS2 Goodsmile has a Europe-based shop: https://goodsmileeurope.com/collections/moderoid They're a bit behind the schedule, so you have to wait a little longer, but you avoid customs & intercontinental shipping. Quote
lavinrac Posted December 3 Posted December 3 (edited) Definitely interested, but I'm really hesitating. My Hasegawa TV Milia Queadlunn Rau came in at $45.10.. but then $89 shipping and a bunch of handling and duties.. $134 fees on a $45 kit. NOT HLJ's fault. but I'm hoping to find these Moderoids in the US. Even with markup. Moderoid kits usually come in at a number of shops. Anyone see them anywhere in the US yet? Im checking gundamplanet, usagundamstore, and bigbadtoystore but am open to other vendors. i definitely want this kit! Edited December 3 by lavinrac typos Quote

I haven’t seen them in the U.S. stores and that usually doesn’t happen with Moderoid, they’ve all been easy to find. I think it may be a harmony gold blockade rolling again. Probably since these are labeled with the Japanese names. Usually the stores you listed will have them on the same day or a day after the Japanese preorders open. The tariffs are unfortunately adding a lot of extra costs that are rather frustrating to hobbies and collectibles Quote
DarrinG Posted December 12 Posted December 12 Sentinel Team ASSEMBLED! Late to the show -- but as you already all know, worst part is the face shield. HORRIBLE idea to put that pattern on there, & go opaque. Was going to fiddle with them like I've seen others do, don't have time. How about in a Sentinel committee meeting someone say: "Ya know, how about we include a good visor as well?" ~ Sigh NO WAY am I changing these to armor mode. They scream: I'll break if you do! -- Other worst part is fiddly ball-joints and ejecting parts. BEST part is having he whole team, and Fuke's color doesn't bother me. She looks awesome. I give the whole effort an 8.3 out of 10 *They tackled something very dated and hard to pull off - & succeeded. P.S. - Thank you BBTS for yet another month without my Tread & Legioss Quote
