plastik
Here's what I've gotten up so far. I'm still trying to figure out how to cram a vf-11b, armored vf-1j and two 1/48's in there. man, it's so hard to decide which modes to put each one in

ff95gj
The yellow tones of the VF-1D and VT-1 do not really match though. It was not very apparent in the photo but quite obvious in person.
Shaorin
The yellow tones of the VF-1D and VT-1 do not really match though. It was not very apparent in the photo but quite obvious in person. fairly jarring difference, even in the photo. one would indeed be better of taking the head from the unassembled kit and painting it as close to match as possible. even a raw TAMIYA COLOUR tan would match better than the sandstone hue of that finished -1D head, i think... xrentonx
Yeah, I see the color difference too but all the same...that head mold is nice with that body and the armor

Benson13
awesome! is this the french release valkyrie? Nope. It's not carrying a white flag. Zing! It's actually an Angel Bird from the first episode of SDFM. Hikaru flew his fan racer right through the middle of their formation. erikos0311
Thanks plastik! Took me a bit to get my lil' fortress of solitude together !Lol The stand on that hase kit is from this 3 ball joint mechanical stand I had laying around in my shop. I took it apart and made 2 out of them. I don't know what it was used for originally but they look a lot better than those hase 1/72 in flight stands! They thighten down with an Allen wrench and hold the valk by the gunpod!
plastik
where would one look for these said mechincal stand if one were so inclined to buy one?
erikos0311
where would one look for these said mechincal stand if one were so inclined to buy one? I wish I knew where it came from, but if I had to guess I would say a hobby shop or hardware store. I used to work in a instrument repair shop at my last unit in Europe and it just showed up there. here are some more pics of how I rigged them to hold my valks! Hope this helps! skullmilitia
actually, get two in Batt form, and one flying above them fills the space nicely, and stays simple.
