Chronocidal
I thought that was dismissed as an ad for the unpainted A-model kit though? If not, curse you Yamato... I don't need any more VF-1s to have to buy!
Vi-RS
They Alaska base is supposedly coming. They have pics of it They made it for the unfinished kit ad like Chronocidal said, they also made the scheme in VF-1 Master file on page 66~67 that depicts the transformation gimmick. Loop
I thought that was dismissed as an ad for the unpainted A-model kit though? If not, curse you Yamato... I don't need any more VF-1s to have to buy! I say bring it! The VF-1's are like lunch money in cost compared to all the valks I have been buying lately, wouldn't set me back that much I guess. genomcorp
i guess the delay was inevitable eh? oh well, at least it gives me more time to save up for it!
Chronocidal
What the hell? They're delaying EVERY release until December? Ok, I get it, maybe they're having issues.. but that's gonna mean I cancel a lot of stuff, because I'm not paying for all my preorders for the next 3 months all at once. ESPECIALLY AT CHRISTMAS. Even if I save up ahead of time, I'm not dumping a couple grand at once on toys for myself at that time of year. Looks like it's going to be a very boring holiday season. skullmilitia
What, other than the optional parts is any different from the DYRL release?
Vi-RS
What, other than the optional parts is any different from the DYRL release? Clear canopy.
genomcorp
pretty sure the option parts are the only difference.. ^^oh and what he said Edited October 23, 2012 by genomcorp
Mommar
I miss the tinted canopies. All of the re-release clear canopy Valks just don't look as good as the older tinted one's.
mechaninac
Differences from the original should be the non-tinted canopy and the inclusion of the option parts, as others have stated, but also "non-exploding" shoulders and revised crotch design as present in all contemporary releases -- unless the VE and VT already had the fixes that addressed the issues with the early V2 VF-1s. locidm
I think VE-1 was safe from exploding shoulders
Stark1975
I think VE-1 was safe from exploding shoulders Yeah, it was on Scorched Earth Toy's list of the good ones. The VT-1, however, was on the bad shoulder list.
Dimis
Apparently the Yamato website shows this (and the VF-1 parts) as to be released next week. Should i hold my breath?
Chronocidal
That would be awesome, and might convince me to keep my other preorders. It's still a decent chunk of stuff for December, but I was really looking forward to getting the VE-1 and strike pack reissues this month. Valkyrie Magnus
I bought a l lot of stuff because I thought it was going to be released in December. I want it but financially it will be tough since I just got the YF-29, VF-1A Max DYRL 1/60 and ordered a 1/48 CF VF-1A

Dimis
Your VE-1 link directs to some half-naked anime lady riding on a moon crescent... :-P
Jasonc
The VE-1 first release had good shoulders, and was one of the first valks to include the new crotch attachment. This one shouldn't be muc different. With the exclusion of the canopy tint, I prefer my VE-1 than this one. I do want the attachment parts though. Oh well. ErikElvis
Oh great 13th of november. I blew my toy money that was for october on odds and ends at HLJ. MacrossJunkie
I finally got a notice that my VE-1 is ready to be shipped so it looks like that Nov 13th date is more or less right. Looking forward to getting this. I really like the colors on this as it seems more realistic to me.
Chronocidal
Where'd you order from? I'm looking forward to getting this myself.
MacrossJunkie
I had ended up pre-ordering this from anime-export. I think by the time I decided to get it, HLJ was no longer taking any more orders. I don't normally pre-order from them because I don't like having to pay up front and then waiting for months before getting anything. MikeRoz
HLJ just billed me for this + the SSP. Now just need to decide whether it's worth waiting to ship until the VF-4G is out...
Froy
Oh man! Finally!!! Been waiting for the VE-1 for long time. When it was first released I was at the university. Now I can afford this beauty with no remorse. Edited November 12, 2012 by Froy

Loute
My VE-1 is on its way, my two SSP's have not been send yet and the Defender Destroid Tomahawk (Olive drab version) is still in backordered status since the 23th of September. Looks like I'll get my orders one after another, can't wait to get my (greedy) hands on the Super Strike Packs . MacrossJunkie
Mine got shipped through some courier I've never heard of called Sagawa SGX and has been "On Board Aircraft" since the 14th. I picked the fastest shipping option that anime-export gave me. Has anyone in the US had stuff shipped to them via this courier before? I'm just trying to get a handle on when I should be expecting the package and also if they just hand off to the USPS like EMS does.

It got here in one piece. They might have handed it off to FedEx for mine...can't remember exactly.
