Who could say no to that! :)

Thirlby was so good in the first film. Without her, Dredd would have been near intolerable. She gave the film a much need human center and added the heart the film needed. I hope we succeed in making a sequel. Petition signed!

The film was made on a low budget and was critically successful. I don't know why a network doesn't look at making it into a TV series using the film's same style.

Dredd may not be popular, or well known enough to warrant that type of investment.

too violent for regular networks, not enough sex to sell it to cable channels?

Well that could be fixed, and it'd do much better on networks like FX, Starz or Showtime, the violence could be maintained and it's easy enough to add things to spice it up.

To me Urban was a perfect Dredd. He didn't even make the film crew remove the helmet and he did that great grumbly scowl. He also has a lower face that doesn't give away his age, kinda in a way that he didn't apear old or young.
