The VB-6 has a wingspan of 24.42m while the VF-25 has a wingspan of 15.5m whereas it looks like the VB-6 is larger than that (with twice the wingspan of the VF-25) in the pic. darkrealmbahamut Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 They want everyone to believe they have a monoply, all they actually own are half the international dist rights to the original series and the trademark to the "Macross" name in North America and possibly South America. However, your point about the BD releases being able to sidestep any infringement C&D orders is absolutely correct. That is the main reason why I've pre-ordered the first disc on BD. I am hopeful they do have English subs at least for the release. I suspect hoping for a dub is pie in the sky thinking at this point... I figured just because it gets past their trade mark on the word Macross really. I but you said and so have I same region and it seems to be how BDs are being pushed. Here are some scans I just did on the office scanner. Unfortunately, the scanner is just not quite biog enough to scan both pages together without cropping one edge. One of the scans is missing the right edge and the other the left edge. Later, I'll remove the pages from the magazine, to do a completely flat scan. While I was shaving this morning, my 4 year old son got hold of my cell phone and managed to activate the built-in MP3 player. I currently have the Macross Frontier OST-1 on my play list and it started playing the opening song from the anime. My son came running too me, holding the phone saying “Daddy, Daddy, it’s that airplane song” (he likes watching the VF-25 in the opening animation). I thought that was really cute. One of the upcoming episode summeries does state that Sheryl in going to Galia IV for a concert (however she will fall ill before that happens) so it wouldn't surprise me to have one of SMS escort here, and Alto being her slave and all makes the perfect candidate.
