All I can say is that QC on this toy will be crucial. With the number of parts shifting about and the smooth fighter mode, assembly tolerances will have to be extremely small. If the factory just phones it in, this'll be a gappy floppy mess.

Love the Victor, with its crescent wings and elegant nose.

Keep in mind too that the Star Mirage used anime magic for its sleek appearance in fighter and its rather burly appearance in Battroid. Finding a balance will be challenging. Keep going! You hold the dreams of us all! No pressure.

Regarding the Raptor article, there was some talk of opening up to foreign investment. Anyone else think an F-22A in JASDF colors would look gorgeous?

Macross Δ (Delta) - Mission 9 - READ 1st POST
Sildani replied to azrael's topic in Movies and TV Series
Out of curiosity, why Myung? Much as I'd like to see her again, I don't remember her doing anything with fold resonance or spritia. She broke Sharon Apple's hold over Isamu, but I figured that was simply because he recognized her voice and her song, and that was sufficient. Did spiritia play ANY part in Plus, come to think of it? -
Yeah. Don't look for a slavish adaptation of the comic - that's pretty much out. On the other hand, it has the Preacher feel, so far, and that's what I'm looking for most. Also, for those who are wondering, it SEEMS to have Starr in it, although he has sight in both eyes and a penchant for eating teabags whole. No word of the Grail, either. Early days, perhaps. I'll watch the rest, no doubt.

That's just lovely. Queen of the sky, right there.

What's "massive", actually? Do we know? -
Kind of a shame, but still a nice figure, especially since she's a prize, so not too awfully expensive. Hopefully someone makes a flightsuited Mirage with great paint. That purple really needs to be deep and dark.

Yes, but you need to include the fact that JJ and the cast did their best with that garbage.- 466 replies

Star Trek Beyond (the not The Search for Spock)
Sildani replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Well summarized. Some plot holes large enough to drive a coach-and-four through, but the acting pretty much makes up for it. And the Vengeance. What a great design, great idea, and the ripping sound it made at warp chasing the Enterprise was so ominous.- 466 replies

For any new members who don't know of Kurt's work: you'll need quite a few pennies, but when you get your Valkyrie, you WILL know where your pennies went. And then you'll pick your jaw up off the floor.

Arcadia/ Yamato Missiles on Bandai DX hard points

Simple answer: no. Long answer: no. Holes and pegs are different sizes and they lock into place differently. -
Oh, Lord. I've been waiting for this for years. I'll buy one if you sell it. Don't forget Super Parts!

Kurt! Welcome back! Agreed, the Master File books have more than a few tasty schemes in them. Whatever you do will look top-notch though.

Don't forget, the VF-27 also has the 35mm beam machine guns in the secondary engine nacelles.

The other kind of Syndrome, where you stand in line for days to get the new one. -
The various networks and media outlets are trying to cut out the middle man, Netflix. This is one of the first forays into that process. Don't expect it to change, expect it to get more prevalent. This is why Netflix themselves are doing more and more original programming. They saw this coming years ago.

Kalvasflam: imagine your Blackwater Air Force was given pre-production F-22s by Lockheed Martin for battle testing. The data will be used by LM to refine the design, and LM will offer F-22As to the USAF for their next main fighter to replace the F-15s. -

Yeah, and the Windemereans would've gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for those meddling Chaos kids and their catgirl! RedWolf: I won't be surprised if you're proven correct.- 240 replies

At the rate Chinese labor costs have been going up, plus the new(ish) weakening of the yen, it's still a bit excessive, but not completely outrageous. You can kinda tell, between pricing, releases, and long lead times, that Arcadia is determined not to follow in Yamato's footsteps.
