So a corporation that's getting tax breaks is forcing us to pay a subscription fee for a channel that's going to have commercials? Unless the pilot is so good it burns out the common sense in my brain, pass.

Yeahp, Arcadia puts out one new mold and one or two reissues a year, of their Macross stuff, anyway. They have their 3DLab that makes tiny, limited run Meltran and Zentran fortresses, and they make display figures for other anime properties. And that's about it. I don't know if anyone here knows which molds they were able to take away from Yamato, but they don't use them much. I'd love a reissued VF-11B. Or, hey, why not a VE-11 Thunderseeker?

Eh, sort of. The YF-30 is a prototype that was used as the basis of the less expensive, less capable VF-31A Kairos. The Kairos, in turn, was used as the foundation of the more capable VF-31C/F/J/S Siegfried. And why Siegfried? It ties in to the Wagnerian method of naming things in this series, what with Walküre and all. I don't think the reason for the name has been explained. *does Seto Kaiba Summon*
