Well, this year Arcadia has three big releases: the Ichijo VF-1, the VF-0 Reactive Armor, and the retooled Sv-51. Four if you count the 1/24 Garland. They seem to be picking up the pace a little.

Have patience. The original Blade Runner was panned by critics and audiences alike. It took years, and a couple cuts by Ridley Scott, to make it the SF classic it is today.

Well that's... dark. As far as Planes 3, what I want is the promise of that first trailer to be fulfilled. You know, they showed all the military jets and a stealth bomber while a Kenny Loggins cover band played and he kept breathing "Yeah". That.

Not more or less limited than any other VF these days. As for a reissue, perhaps, but you're best off waiting for the VF-31A Kairos to be released - it's very similar - unless you love the 30's paint.

The way they could build off of Delta would be to get the license for the VF-9 Cutlass that appeared briefly. However, that's assuming Bandai doesn't already have a lock on the license for every mecha that appeared. Arcadia could get around that by claiming it had appeared in a previously published work, but then they couldn't tie it into Delta in any way, and I doubt they'd want to sink tens of thousands of dollars into R&D and moldmaking for a Valkyrie even more obscure than the VF-5000. Heck, at least the Star Mirage actually had a few episodes' worth of exposure. Only other one I can think of would be the VF-11 MAXL, and that strictly because they made Mylene's bass guitar, so at least Macross 7's name is back out there in some capacity. If they were smart (perhaps), they could license Macross the Ride and thereby reuse a great many of their existing molds, and make minor revisions as needed. Most need new paint, I think that's all. Thing is, I have no idea how popular MtR got, or still is, in Japan.

Strangely, there were a few Snowtroopers around here a few months back. What, is Black figure distribution a regional thing?! And I may as well ask: how IS the Ahsoka anyway? Sculpt, paint, articulation? -
Eh. Yamato wasn't built in a day. I'll look forward to this. I won't bite until they come out with Houquet's version though, I like its head best.

That pic damn near makes it look like Ivanov's 51 is olive drab. I think there's a scene in a submarine where Ivanov is leaning against his 51. That might be better.
