    That was a really good video! The transformation looks really interesting and fun to do. I like how everything tabs together, hopefully the Chogokin behaves similarly. Two things I noticed: the hinges that allow the wings to fold in half are awfully tiny! I hope they hold up to repeated folds. Second, English has really entered Japanese. The guy said "wing" many times and "pink" and "green" when describing the head visors. Wild.

    Wow, that looks gappy. Granted, it's a prototype. Many hinges that look like, well, hinges as well, like the ones immediately behind the intakes, on the side fuselage. The finished product will most likely have tighter tolerances. They've seemed to have stuffed many features into this toy, though, well done!

    Forgot to mention: anyone else absolutely love seeing the Stark sigil back on the model of Winterfell in the opening?

    I LOVE Lady Mormont!! She was the only noble there who had the balls to fight for the Starks, no qualms with her getting the "North remembers" bit. Varys is a traveling man. Thank God we didn't have to spend six episodes with him traveling to Westeros, negotiating, and traveling back, like we did last season. Wonder if he knows what his little birds have turned into... Arya went full-on badass. Great kill of a truly deserving ass. He broke Hospitality, so only fitting he dies at his own table. As for Jaime, Queenslayer: now we see if what he said to Cersei earlier is true; that only those two, and their love, matter. The Firey Trial was expected, but I love how they showed it. Margaery looking at the High Sparrow like he's killed them all was perfect. Didn't expect Tommen to kill himself. Most decisive thing he's ever done. And the chess pieces move, ever on... Oh,yes. Have to admit a touch of arousal at seeing the Library of the Citadel. No shame.

    Under those guidelines, the only way fan stuff could get made is if one or two people made a fully CGI video out of the goodness of their hearts. Roy is perfectly correct: no crew/actor/person of any quality will work for free. Azrael is right too: Axanar is making some people money based off an IP that doesn't belong to them. However, the Axanar production committee isn't trying to make a profit, they're trying to make the best fan movie yet, and break even doing so. If CBS/Paramount were at all smart, they'd take Axanar over, leave most everything and everyone who the way it is, and profit. Most all the hard work's been done for them, Alec Peters and company get to make the movie they've always wanted, and we fans get the finished product. Win-win-win.

    As far as why the case hasn't been thrown out: Axanar is represented by Winston & Strawn, who are very very good at what they do. Look up Chapterhouse Studios vs. Games Workshop for an example.

    Let me just add FW-190 and Me-109, and the Mosquito, to the list. Not much to add about the episode. Loved the straight on view of the Windermere fighter. Thanks Seto for the Var name origin. Makes good sense.

    Yes, in the show, Wun Win is the last of his kind, unless there are a few further northwest where the shoe's never been. He went out like a true hero, though. Not sure why Ramsey shot him instead of Jon while he had the chance. Hubris, perhaps? Great episode overall. Sansa has learned how to hate. She's ready to be Queen in the North.

    Neither, I'd say there's less opportunity for the sights of the flesh. Much war, much warging, much traveling. Hell, that scene with Yara in the Volantis fleshpot was surprising as all heck.

    That's my point exactly. The 104, after years of teething issues, training, and retraining, became fairly effective. It most likely was never a pilot's first choice, but it wasn't a failure. It took years, though, I'll give you that. Slide: you're right, but that was a different time and country. Plus, it's probable the US pressed Canada to scrap it. For the F-35, there's no more influential country that can do that to us. Only way the 35 can be derailed now is if F-22A production is found to be feasible and cost-effective. Which is doubtful.

    Eh. F-35 bashing is getting as old and tiring to read as new Star Wars movie rants. It's flawed, badly. It's stupid expensive. It has a lot of potential, though, and like most warplanes its flaws will be fixed, tactics will evolve, and it'll be at least effective, at best very good indeed. It'll never be as good as its ardent supporters claim, and never as bad as its worst detractors say. One thing for sure: it's too far gone to be canceled, and so it's what we have to work with. "The quality of the crate matters little. Success depends on the pilot who sits in it."

    That's what I thought. The vertical fins won't fold completely flat on the wing, they'll fold over and leave their base upright to attach the over-wing Super part.

    Lady Mormont was superb. I want to see more of her. Anyone else surprised that Arya got taken so easily? Or d'you suppose it'll be revealed that she, Arya, was the Waif, and the Waif was Arya?
