  1. Interesting. Like her USN belt buckle. So, how does one play KanColle? Is it still Japan-only?
  2. From NY customer service: "As it was writing in the notification of payment, there a deadline. The order have to be pay before 08:00 A.M japanese time We didn't receive your payment so the order has been automatically cancel Unfortunately Sir, there are nothing i can do in this case" So there you have it. At NY, you have until 8:00 AM Japanese time on the day of release to pay. Sheesh.

    Hi-Metal R

    Yes.
  4. The last RVF-171 I saw on these boards went for $175 I believe, displayed gently with box.
  5. WHAAAAT?!! NY just cancelled my pre-order at 0934 Japan time! I was about to pay them!!
  6. Use red toothpicks. They exist.
  7. It could be a short-run kit. Bandai engineered it to see how big a deal it would be to design and produce, and they used a low-pressure mold, made of aluminium, and a softer version of styrene. Aluminum molds are much cheaper than normal stainless steel molds, but can't tolerate the heat or pressure of normal molding processes. So this exists, and probably five or ten more, as a proof of concept. Like a concept car, they may be using it to gauge interest. Or its a massive troll as David said.
  8. Schizo has the right of it. I recall a magazine article I read in a doctor's office some 25 years ago about the "Five Second Club" - those cars with a 0-60 time of five seconds or less. Many exotic marques, including a couple you wouldn't expect, like Vector Aeromotive and Jaguar I believe - I think the XJ220 was built at that time. Now? An Audi TT RS can get to 60 in 4.2, for around $58,000. Supercars these days routinely break a four second 60. And family sedans get to 60 in less than six seconds. Technology. All tech. And somehow, it's not as exciting as it used to be. "And when everyone is Super... no one will be."
  9. Wonder who's doing the soundtrack. Vangelis' music was one of the key things that made Blade Runner so good. Brooding, futuristic, and kinda whimsical at times. Whoever it is has enormous shoes to fill.
  10. It was. And it wasn't a particularly good car. Still, it's V-12 is like nothing else.
  11. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
  12. My first VF-4 too.
  13. Nice! Thanks for that!!
  14. That's a healthy, positive attitude right there.
  15. A gilded crapper? Actually, if I ever do get one, I'll paint a gold toilet on the nose commemorating this thread. Only here can we conflate plastic toys based on a sci-fi cartoon and lavatories made of precious metals.
  16. I... cannot argue that. Everyone was good to great, but Moranis was... essential.
  17. I'd buy one, but let's have them first reissue the Super/Strike parts, 'kay?
  18. NY has it coming out on the 29th.
  19. My VF-27B Lucifer Renewal was perfect out of the box. No scratches at all.
  20. I kept wondering if she was/is a voice actress...
