  1. That’s because the are in the real world where things get hairy and kinda messy
  2. Lightsabers these days seem better at destroying metal than flesh, so a can opener would be perfect. It would incinerate the top of the can and wouldn’t even cook the tuna.
  3. Looks like these would make for great customization. Add more armor for a more mecha kinda look or maybe soft goods and some putty to give it more of a character kinda look. Lots of fun ideas could be possible
  4. they’re something like 15 or 20 years old at this point and they aren’t Bandai, so expect more work. Seams on most parts and such
  5. It’s weird that nobody likes to show off the lower body mobility. The upper is pretty good especially Roth that an crunch, but the legs surprisingly don’t need the help to move around
  6. I think one is more of a general action figure thing while this one is just for the smaller scale one. It’s sorta like we have a Mcfarlane section and a dc Mcfarlane section and a general toys section on top of that.
  7. Unpainted kit for referring above is the bot, bellow is the ship
  8. They actually got rereleased yesterday for the wave kits, at least the super set, maybe the strike as well, I wasn’t looking at those last night
  9. That’s a question that will be open ended for a bit. Wave does have a new ceo, and he might push for battroids, he also has a hand in the Max Factory thing, so Plamax could be a possibility as well. Then again maybe he’ll be annoying and just take the paycheck and a nap, but I think most of us hope not
  10. They should’ve done a live action show. That would be way more entertaining and a real accomplishment if they actually pulled it off
  11. It’s got some interesting extras like leds and a stand and a a flat character stand as well
  12. Like I said in the other thread, I’d be really excited for comic versions in that scale. Hope they get around to them
  13. I was holding out a bit after the sticker shock of the normal version being $110 at bbts. Looks a lot cheaper at amiami
  14. That’s The dark secret of the Jedi. They steal Sith children, and that’s what started their eternal rivalry. Sith weren’t necessarily the dark side, just the side that had a good time and the Jedi were too judgy and thought they weren’t raising their kids right. The Jedi always thought the Sith listened to music way too loud and kept calling the police until they became the police and broke up the parties. They used to fight with pool noodles and light sticks, but things escalated quickly
  15. Yeah, but probably at an extraordinary mark up due to the rarity since it wouldn’t be a worldwide release
  16. Bandai will always be the problem one since hlj is the only one that can sell their models now. The other companies don’t have as high of a demand with them since you can buy them off any Japanese site, while Bandai refuses to let the others sell outside the country. I’ve lucked out so far with their hobby stuff, but I’m sure that won’t last and I’m really worried about what happens if Bandai decides to do a vf-1 kit in this line with one seller that may not be allowed to offer it due to the issues with Harmony Gold and not having even a domestic option.
  17. I think that’s Bandai’s plan. There’s plenty of them out there, just you gotta pay extra if you don’t live in Japan. A few places actually had them on sale over the weekend for the holiday, but they still would have been a few bucks more than hlj sold them with shipping and all added up. I was only able to get one kit with decals from Hlj and the other two sets were bought domestically
  18. I guess the VF-22 is up tomorrow on the U.S. pbandai store Looks like $56
