I loved Shipwreck heavy episodes when I was a kid.

I don’t remember them in the show, but I didn’t watch much of the stuff in the 90’s or beyond. They may just be cashing in on the zombie thing so they can reuse figure parts that already existed

It’s possible, the other classics haven’t had any additions. They recently hg kits for Vifamwith the Vifam, a Sirbine, the Dragonar 1 for example but haven’t even announced other kits for those, but those were web exclusives. The hg Macross line has so far 4 kits either in the works or have been released, but those are mostly standard releases so maybe since this Scopedog is a standard release they might do more kits in this line. I would like to see other kits for the previously mentioned lines and if they get serious about Votoms in hg, I will be tempted. It’s kind of a guessing game with Bandai in that you sometimes get one great kit and nothing else to go with it If you’re interested in smaller kits for Votoms, wave has been doing a fairly good job at getting a good amount of the designs out there in 1/35. The Bandai kits look more poseable though. Although to get a good complete scopedog with accessories, it may end up the same price since Bandai is only doing the basic unit and then web exclusives for the add ons By the way, if you have the 1/20 kit, I highly recommend building it. It’s a real joy with so much detail and avoiding seams and painting. If you’re a lazy builder and don’t want to do all the extra work, you can easily get away with just snapping it up and a little panel lining or add a little weathering

New Macross Animation Announced, to be animated by Sunrise

Love Square or maybe Hexagonal love spirals -
I have that issue with a lot of ova additions to classic mecha. Like in Gundam 0083 the GM N type custom is a predecessor to the Gm 2 and 3 and looks way more advanced than either. Even the ones from 0080 look more advanced than stuff from ZZ Gundam. Or more recently there’s those new designs from Mospeada that look way more futuristic than the original designs even though it’s a prequel story. Sometimes these things end up being cool enough to forgive though and other times they look a bit too out of place. I do like the VF-0, but I don’t connect Macross Zero to any of the other shows or movies. I kinda think of it as a separate thing altogether like Tenchi. Sure it’s got Roy, but I don’t feel the connection and treat it like an alternate universe, like DYRL

What do they mean by facial expression set in the first add on pack? And are there pictures of the decals for the second pack? I’m still on the fence over this scopedog since I already have a few wave kits and decals and none of these packs have a back pack. Also the cost is pretty high if you want everything and it’s not to scale with any other Votoms stuff that I already have I may get one out of curiosity, but probably not the add on packs since the basic kit has an open hand included, just too bad there’s no closed fist included unless you buy the add on. I’m also worried the side armor will fall off easily since it looks like a thin ball joint

I thought it was odd that USA gundam store had the preorder up a whole month ahead of hlj, but honestly they probably were jumping the gun

I’m probably spoiled by all the goofy old cartoon voices that Kraven had over the years, this voice just doesn’t sound right to me.

Since it’s dial of destiny, it should be one with an old man dropping his fancy watch

Sorry it a 50/50 chance of which powers you get from the animal. It’s either gonna be hyper speed with quick reflexes or super snooze with the occasional knocking things off the table powers

It looks like crap, but the anime wasn’t that good to begin with, so it doesn’t really bug me

I honestly didn’t like Ds9 for the story, but the effects looked good for the time. But I felt the opposite with B5. I liked the story more, but the effects were a bit off putting. I do prefer B5 space combat though. Star Trek combat felt dated since it was based on combat from a much older series. The movement of the fighters and designs for the ships looked better as well, just too bad they had that reboot style of animation that didn’t quite fit live action as well. I think the overall designs in B5 were the first sci fi ship and fighter designs that I liked since Battle Star Galactica or Buck Rogers as far as live action shows went.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, in theaters summer 2023
Big s replied to Duke Togo's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, that was a good ending. It left your imagination thinking this guy could have adventure after adventure without there being a continuation. Or he could’ve retired and lived a great life, it was open ended but perfect.- 355 replies
