  1. I’m pretty sure they’ll include eye decals. On the og tv version I had to paint the eyes. I wish I had taken pictures of it before boxing it, because I was really proud of myself back in the day. Color pencils over flat white works really well. Then just add a couple drops of white to get the anime glare and there you go. I think I have better tools now like water color pencils, but if it does include the eyes, I’ll probably use those to save time
  2. I remember when they were twice as big and only$20 now they’re half the size and a hundred bucks more
  3. It’s kinda like the love affair for Boba Fett back in the day, but better. At least this mobile suit had an absolutely awesome scene of handing the feddies their butts up until it got to the Gundam. And if it weren’t for all that added armor it might have actually won the battle. The other thing this mobile suit gets attention for is its beauty. It has a great simple color scheme and looks so much cooler than the usual clown painted federation suits, especially the Goofy looking Gundams. It’s a perfect Antagonist mobile suit. Other people like it for the insane weapon load out with two of everything and a chainmine set for fun
  4. As a kid we used to have a chain of markets called AlphaBeta.
  5. For me it’s a mix of the pricing and lack of decent content for D+. It’s like the streaming service that had the most to offer for the price in the beginning, but that has faded quickly.
  6. I kinda forgot about these games. It was like resident evil mashed with devil may cry from what I remember.
  7. Maybe by the time they do the recolor for Max, it may come with standing figures of the happy couple.
  8. Were the official waterslide markings missing some?
  9. They’re like any other decal, just Bandai usually uses extra thick decals compared to other companies
  10. If it’s anything like other wave kits, the decals are pretty basic and a little thinner than Bandai, but don’t seem to fall apart
  11. Not sure how rigid of a cape it will be, but it could just be a loose prototype with a shoulder sag. Bandai kinda doesn’t care when their prototype does odd things in teaser images most of the time
  12. Judging by the pictures the waist area like the hips can move outward pretty well and it has a hip swivel. I think I’m really curious to see how well the knees bend and to hear how well the joints hold up. The hasegawa has had a couple minor improvements, but it doesn’t look like anything to compete with the leg stance on some of the 1J pictures shown.
  13. It definitely looks great. I’m very curious though on articulation. It looks like it will pose better than the hasegawa, but until it’s in hand or better pictures come out I’m only guessing.
  14. I’m gonna wait for more images, but the legs do appear pretty thin for the standing pose, but would probably look best in the crazy crouched down poses. The shoulder may just be pushed down awkwardly giving it the extreme monkey arm look, but I think when final images come up it will be easier for me to decide
  15. Nice little puffs for the take off
  16. The small1/18 blanks are pretty cool, these hopefully will have as many add ons to throw on them coming up
  17. Imai actually made a very nice q-rau for the day and I think it still looks great. Can’t wait for the hasegawa
  18. Hobby town out here in So Cal has them as well. It seems they really jumped on the Bandai-wagon and have quite a lot of great kits lately. I’d say it was about three years ago that they were kinda scarce and five years ago, it was almost a rumor that maybe they had a gundam or two.
  19. Is this tied into the remake a couple years ago. I still haven’t watched it since I have a soft spot for the original and the Ramones video that goes with it
  20. It’ll be ok. This was just the first of the plamax vf-1 kits to correct the mistake of leaving out water slide decals. It’s also not gonna be white, so if plan on changing the color, you need to paint it
  21. Most places I’ve been to only offer thicker sheets. There were a few places that had it thinner online. Try train modeling shops, can’t remember which one I bought from. Styrene or abs cement will definitely work better since it makes a nice melt. Depending on the project ca can just crack apart. I guess it depends on if it’s just making extra armor or if you’re completely scratch building parts, but either way I’d still suggest a styrene or abs cement.
