    I used to do the can thing too. Most of my early kits were also built the same way. Used zap a gap a lot. I remember a kit that came with a glue tube and used it on a small scale Cobra helicopter kit that was probably 1/72 scale. I remember using way too much glue on some parts and over the next few hours the ordinance was turning to goo. I found a few Revell and testers kits, but not many. I had a local hobby shop that got some oddball anime kits, but at the time I hadn’t seen a majority of the shows they were from. They rarely got the Imai kits, but a few Arii Macross kits every now and then. It was back in the old days before the internet, so my best luck was at the swap meet.

    I don’t know about all that. Vader did a lot of bad stuff and he got rewarded by doing a little good and now gets to be an immortal force ghost. Not only that, but now he gets his good looks back as well

    Macross models weren’t the easiest thing for me to find as a kid, but I used to have dreams about going to a store and finding piles of brand new kits to choose from. Then I’d wake up and my reality was that I might find an Arii kit singular at the local hobby shop and I’d be lucky if it was one I didn’t have already. I had better luck at the swap meet sometimes though, but still mostly Arii and usually just the Valkyrie kits

    That’s still pretty minor. Just a few differences compared to the amount of work redesigning the yf-19 to the vf-19

    I rewatched the preview and it at least looks more entertaining than the recent gundam stuff. I’m getting tired of kids always getting in the gundam. The designs also look more interesting than the recent super ugly designs in gundam witch from mercury. The only thing I really didn’t care about was the music sounded kinda dumb. I’m curious to see more from this one

    The 90’s were pretty bad for the big names, but the indies were pretty good mostly

    Yeah, the new stuff like SpyxFamily is pretty lame. Bland art, bland story, even though the premise sounded good it’s just the usual let down. There’s very few titles I even care about anymore. But at least the animation on this side of the ocean has been getting better. Invincible is my favorite out of the bunch

    Personally I still like the show even if each season is less and less likable. I still have fun with it. I even sort of liked the extremely disappointing Boba show. I think the only live action one I didn’t like was the obi show. Ashoka is so far from what I’ve seen on the disappointing side, but it’s more entertaining than the boba show. Hopefully that show picks up and hopefully Mando will get some good writing next season

    I never watched clone wars after it changed to a super ugly cg show. Either way I didn’t feel totally lost or anything with the Mandalorian. It kinda soft explains a lot of stuff. The one that I kinda feel needed more explanation is Ashoka. They just kinda keep throwing out names of people you think you should care about, but don’t. That show got hijacked in record time. Three episodes in and the main character hasn’t even been Ashoka, it barely shows her from the start to the third episode

    Oddly after looking at them side by side, I kinda wonder if the made the feet bigger so they would work on the VF-19. They look the same but chunkier

    So to show the differences in yf-19 to vf-19 and the YF-21 to VF 22 here’s some pictures you can see the majority of the joints are the same on the 19’s, but the outer armor has a lot of minor differences. The wings and stabilizers look the same though. Actually the wings look a bit different as far as the YF-21 to YF-22 everything other than the face and possibly the wings are the same
