  1. Gonna be leaving soon for tonight’s ritual in Anaheim. It’s my daughters birthday present since Ghost is one of her favorites as well
  2. Just realized that it said 6, I must’ve somehow missed hearing about all 5 of the previous movies
  3. I actually liked Evolution. It’s definitely dated now, but I liked it
  4. I think the proportions aren’t that bad especially with some of the scenes being a bit wonky. And you’re right about the rarity. I’ve only seen garage kits and a super expensive action figure that at the time I couldn’t afford
  5. I preordered it earlier. Yeah, that explains how he went to the bathroom after being trapped in there for almost a while day and only having junk food and soda
  6. Started getting some parts on the regult together and putting some panel lining in the lighter panel lines as a guide for scribing. Some lines are deeper and some are very shallow. Hasegawa seems a bit inconsistent, but I think I can manage and if I mess up a bit there’s always putty. also been glueing some parts that been seams removed and will probably drill out the plastic domes where the clear parts should go. Still don’t know why they couldn’t have left those open since there’s so much open space inside and they included the clear parts. Luckily I don’t think it will be too difficult of a fix
  7. It’s not really that big an issue, I was really just setting up a guide line. I can just wipe away the scribble. I honestly don’t use them, just got one in as a bonus from some orders recently from USA gundam store. I was was just having a tough time staying in those thin lines. It looked like a preschool kid trying to color by numbers.
  8. Definitely a lot of seams, luckily most are just straight lines, so there’s not as many complications on those. The waist joint that the hips attach to have a couple of those shallow panels running across them. I decided to try to mark them with a panel line gundam marker as a bit of a guide to help scribe them a bit deeper and the marker is too thick to even stay in the lines. I think I’ll start posting stuff in the workbench section
  9. Batflek wasn’t bad, but unfortunately his movies were. I’ve probably said it before but I think he was probably the best Bruce Wayne. If they hadn’t tried to put that Batman into the dcu so soon I think there could have been some great films. At least those crappy films won’t be the worst Batman movies
  10. I’m gonna probably drill those holes for the sensors instead of painting them, but I’m actually more worried about doing the penal line work. I guess over the years I’ve gotten to used to Bandai and wave overly thick panels. It’s like one extreme to another
  11. Got my regult in a bit early. Just had to open that box and pull out the runners to take a look. Lot of work ahead to get rid of the seams, but at least it has very few parts with mold lines. And another thing is that it’s been a long time since I’ve done a hasegawa kit and I forgot how shallow the panel lines are. I’m probably gonna have to carve them a bit deeper since their so faint, I’m worried that after primer, paint, gloss, decals and top coat they will just disappear before even getting to the weathering.
  12. So after checking some images it appears that they could probably reuse the back armor plate and that has four of those sensors that are on the standard one, and the front looks like it would take a few redesigned parts and the side thruster housing has a couple antennas that the standard doesn’t have. Anyway the variation is so drastic in the front that it doesn’t look like it would even use the sensor spots from original
  13. The sensors are not in the way of the missile and light missile types. Those would just replace the rear top guns and those appear to be made to be removed and easily replaced. I think the scout would probably be replacing quite a bit of the body armor anyway. I have to check out more pictures of the scout to be sure, but those are really the only variations
  14. I used to be more excited for Batman films as well, but I’m hoping it’s good and at least this one isn’t a combo film. The Burton ones really had me excited and the Nolan ones were good, but not as much, the last few, I just didn’t care for but those weren’t stand alone films. This one I want to see, but the hype for a comic film will never be as exciting as when Keaton put on the suit
  15. Looks great and the markings are blended in well
  16. Thanks tekering for answering all my questions. It seems weird that they have it where the holes have to be drilled for those sensors instead of having a simple attachment like a peg hole since those clear parts are included. And that’s an interesting guide for the markings. And I’m glad to hear it’s nice and stable. Here’s hoping for more Zentraedi kits in the near future
  17. Another thing I just noticed is when looking at the parts and instructions at hobby search, it looks like there are clear parts for the smaller sensors on the body but no explanation that they show on how those attach. The body looks like those are just molded in the plastic. Do they jut glue on top?
  18. Thanks for the pics. How stable does it feel? Do the joints feel like they hold the weight well or is a stand something to consider? Mine should be in by Wednesday, and at my pace it probably wouldn’t be finished until at least the end of the month. Just really excited about this kit more than anything else that’s been announced. Another odd question is that I noticed that the included decal sheet seems to have quite a bit of little Zentraedi language decals. Is there a guide to which ones to properly use together?
  19. Personally, I was holding off on the decals because there wasn’t much I wanted to order from them since their site seems kinda frustrating and needs an update
