I really only ordered the YF-19 and 21 with a set of decals for each from hlj. The 21 hasn’t come in yet, but I got my 19 set right away. My other 19 sets came from I think bbts, but it might have been a different US store and it seems I got those before some people got theirs fro hlj even though it was about 3 months later when those came in. I think that you either have to be in a rush or not caring when they come in that hlj might be worth the gamble. They from my understanding still fulfilled their orders even though it was on a second run from Bandai. I trust hlj, and I think this probably is more a Bandai issue but I wouldn’t count on a first run unless your quick on that preorder

That’s a great kit and a pretty good size as well. Have fun

Just saw that it’s up for preorder at the usual places

That’s a rather overpowered setup. Not only is he super armored, but he can crush everyone else’s armor. He could basically crush Wolverine just enough to where it makes an inescapable torture while he constantly heals yet can’t break free and has to endure that pain for the rest of his existence

If there is a season 2

I’m not so sure newer animation looks all that great. There were definitely some wonky scenes in the og series, but there’s a certain feeling of motion that I haven’t been seeing in anime for a while

The common trend lately is to take an almost finished show and then scrap it for the tax write off. I know the government had actually been bringing that up and trying to introduce bills to stop that practice since it’s kinda stupid. Hopefully that’s not what’s going on here. The first season had some problems mostly with the first few episodes being really bad and not being able to grab an audience, but it eventually gets better and was definitely far better than most of the D+ live action Star Wars

I don’t think a remake will be that great. They’d probably lose the cool factor somehow and ruin it.

I have to agree. I grew up on classic Metroid and at the time it felt amazing. You start off with a basic crappy setup, but as you go things get much better and that surprise ending was totally worth the challenge. It was one of my all time favorites and oddly, I never really enjoyed the later games as much. It always felt like here’s another Metroid game, you start out crappy and become cool, but we’ve already ruined the surprise and there’s probably a better game out right now anyway

I don’t see why it would be. Hg probably would’ve put a stop to the Macross Plus kits before 7 just due to the American releases of Plus over the years, but since they only seem to have a say with the og series and dyrl (not sure about 2012 since it really wasn’t released in the states) then pretty much everything else is fair game

Most American sites will have it like USA gundam Store or bbts or entertainment earth, Japanese sites not so much unfortunately

McFarlane Toys Batman 1966 Retro Figures and Toys

Yeah, I guess it was super friends and the scooby episodes that were Hanna Barbera. It’s been many years since I’ve seen The New Adventures of Batman maybe even decades. I know a lot of Superfriends related stuff was on boomerang , but I don’t remember them having the filmation show although I remember it was in syndication off and on when I was little- 45 replies

This seems better than the basic scopedog , but it’s annoying that it has no fist hands for the punch or a cockpit with pilot. I already have the wave version, so it’s another skip for me. I’ll probably be more interested if the do non scopedog kits for the series, but so far it’s kinda a letdown line

I don’t know about a death knell, but the Fire Valkyrie is kinda on fire lately. There’s this one in1/100 and a 1/72 one from Max Factory and I think there was a recent rerelease of the Arcadia one, I wouldn’t doubt Bandai will eventually get to it either as dx or the recently teased hmr. personally I like kits better and whatever happens, I just want a cool vf-11 either from plus or 7 or both and I feel this is a slight step closer

Was it filmation? For some reason I thought it was Hanna Barbera. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen it- 45 replies

Definitely Gordon. Alfred usually gets a butler black fancy look with a bit of a snobbish face. Gordon usually gets an average Joe suit, glasses and mustache.- 45 replies

Yeah, in the size scales she was bigger than most of the Zentraedi males as well

I’m guessing that the blaster version of Evil will be next. Maybe one day Dagger, but it’s probably gonna be another year or two.

General (1/12, 1/18, 1/24 Scale) Action Figures Thread

I think the Boxes are a big factor in collectors not caring anymore for Hasbro. Not a big sports fan, but that’s really a lot of unwanted stuff there -
I have no doubt it’s gonna happen. All they have to do is include a different pilot figure and recolor the plastic. I think it includes decals that can be used for Max as well, that’s why I think some people will just jump the gun and recolor the red. They’d really only have to slightly modify the pilot. But I’m wondering if something more exciting might be included in the Max version, like standing figures
-
What are you planning to do with the second Queadluun Rau? I know a lot of people will probably do a max recolor, but I’d love to see someone do the purple cannon fodder colors scheme

Barbie (live action), in theaters Jul 21, 2023
Big s replied to no3Ljm's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
We watched it over the weekend and I felt the same although I finished it. It seemed more like a Netflix movie rather than a big budget film and although I got the jokes, they just weren’t very good jokes and it was a surprisingly slow movie. I’m definitely not the target audience for this one- 66 replies

It’s probably just a prototype with a printed canopy
