  1. Looks like the prologue video I saw was pulled. I was checking my video history and it’s gone now. I can’t find it on the search either. I think the English subtitle version is out really soon. from what I gather the girl’s parents try an escape with the prototype for the main gundam and the mom drags her along for the ride. But there were no subtitles, so I’m just guessing that’s her mom and her dad was in a different mobile suit to help with the escape. For a series , it has a high quality look and the little prologue gives a reason why they probably call her a witch
  2. I saw a bootleg on YouTube. It has the main girl as a young child, but it wasn’t in English, so I kinda pieced things together. It has a battle where the prototype for the main gundam gets in a battle. The animation is really smooth on this one
  3. The prologue first battle looked pretty good. I’m more interested in the series than the kits. The designs really haven’t seemed very good yet, but maybe something will change my mind
  4. The movies may not be that great, but I dig this little guy. He’s got stupid big feet, but it helps to keep him standing. There’s a good amount of joints and just a little over ten bucks at target. I think they’ve been around a bit, but I hadn’t payed attention. Really fun little guy for the price
  5. That red giant team is going up for preorder on the p Bandai U.S.store along with a couple other newer items and another round of rereleases

Yeah, it does a lot for having minimal joints.
  7. That’s some odd news, hope everyone gets taken care of either by product delivery or refund, but if they did bankruptcy, they may not be doing refunds.

One of my favorites tomahawk toys, very toasty version of the standard colors hope his slightly bigger brother comes along soon
  9. Ms Marvel was definitely less than marvelous, but not bad for what it was. I’d still say that if you weren’t interested before, there’s really no reason to watch. Hope the next show is something really worth watching. With all the good shows like Stranger Things and The boys finished for a bit, I need something to fill in the time

    Joy of the hunt?

I do think I was more excited about toys when they were harder to find, but I feel like I don’t spend as much money or time on those and have more time for other hobbies or entertainment. I feel more proud of building a ten or twenty dollar model than purchasing a 100 dollar toy. And now I got some time and cash to do real life things like go to a couple big concerts every now and then. I’ve been sitting on a couple of tickets to Rammstein In September with all their fire and glory, that I bought before the pandemic rescheduled the world. I guess toy hunting wasn’t a super expensive hobby when I was really doing it. Now the better ones are premium buys and realistically only cost a day or two worth of work, but it sometimes can be rough deciding on what to buy and what to skip. When I was younger the cool action figures and toys only took skipping lunch for a couple days. I guess now the anticipation is more of the waiting game to see when the item you ordered is finally gonna show up or if you can get a decent price on a sell out item
  11. Those clear parts really came out well so far.
  12. That unfortunately was the one I was thinking of. We’ll keep trying
  13. So does that mean we have a 50% success rate so far? Hope we can solve the other mysteries soon

    Joy of the hunt?

I remember after weeks of looking around finding a mcfarlane toys Maxx actio figure. I didn’t have a car and was still in high school, so I wasn’t looking for big ticket items. There was a Target store on the way home and they had it sitting right in front. A few of my friends were super jealous and didn’t find one until the collector shows started getting bigger and they really marked up the price on that guy. Oddly I’ve seen it occasionally at Frank and Sons for not much more than what I paid. For a few years it felt like I had found treasure. as far as Macross toys, the good ones were only found sometimes in bad shape at swap meats and by random vendors that might be selling a mix of pots and pans, ww2 nazi junk probably smuggled home by their father at the end of the war and their kids toys that sometimes would be a hidden gem of awesomeness
  15. I love this thread so far and hopefully everyone gets a hint of where to go. Unfortunately with only hints of a scene, it’s definitely gonna be tough but I have hopes that at least some of these mysteries will be solved.
  16. They look cool, but I haven’t used a watch in a couple decades and I kinda like that freedom.
  17. As I said above mostly the hobby stuff. Near me I’ve seen some of the hasegawa Macross stuff at hobby town. They do get Bandai toys and models as well, just haven’t seen their Macross stuff yet. I say yet hoping things change soon. We used to have a hobby people store that had some interesting stuff before they closed down a couple years ago.
