  1. Definitely some weird stuff going on and yeah, not sure if it’s a mistake, but I’m so backlogged that I won’t feel too bad if I have to wait a little. I kinda have a couple odd things going on here. The 3 per customer is definitely different from how they usually do things at Hlj for Bandai stuff. And then there’s the fact that these are standard releases. Neither of those two things were what I expected to see last night
  2. I’m wondering if there was a change. They used to only allow one per customer on initial preorder, but all of the Bandai items that went up last night allowed for three per customer. I have an odd feeling that there was a mistake somewhere, but then again possibly not. I really didn’t care about the Gundam stuff, so I maxed it my Macross orders to see what happens. Maybe they’ll get all my stuff at once, or maybe just one set of each, I guess I’ll find out eventually
  3. It is really tempting, it looks pretty good.
  4. I was kinda curious because most of the wave Ma.K. Kits have exposed polycaps for the joints and tubes and just about everything rubs off them. It would be great to have something that actually worked in them that wasn’t too difficult to find.
  5. Could do the old ghetto diorama with a stolen wheel
  6. Yeah, I was able to put in for 3, but I’ll probably need 3 more at release
  7. Yeah, and I’m not sure why that would be there either. It’s not like a series opening.
  8. I think it’s just using the smaller ones like the 21 has
  9. I don’t know about 5, but 4 might be opening and ending without credits to get in the way
  10. Great show and awesome character. That paint is turning out well. How does it hold up on the vinyl parts and do you think those paints would work on other soft plastics like polycaps?
  11. got three of each confirmed so far. I think the decals will probably need another 3. But every Bandai preorder up tonight is allowing 3 per customer super surprised they’re all standard releases
  12. Red blue and decals are up for preorder 3 per customer of each at hlj right now
  13. Never cared for oasis. They reminded me of a weird sleepier version of the Beatles. Maybe their radio songs weren’t their best or something.
  14. Yep, end of February unless it gets a date change. At least they only have to make the head and Roy. Everything else is already done
  15. Yeah, but it sure sounds like drunken Australians
  16. As posted in the other thread, it’s up for preorder. And includes decals for Roy or Hikaru. Although I’d personally wait until a super set comes out before I do one for Hikaru
  17. Just saw this in the description for anyone interested.
  18. Just preordered it.
  19. Chalk works just like pastels basically. They’re pretty much the same stuff, just one is packaged for artists and the other is packaged for kids stuff. The chalk is sometimes just a bit more dense. They can both be broken up into powders or if the surface is dull, then you can draw straight onto it. It would need to be topcoated to keep from rubbing off.
  20. I’m not big on toys, but I think this one from Zillion looks cool
  21. I’d watch the drunken Australian dub for laughs every now and then just for fun.
  22. I just think it’s wild since the guy only signed up for a one month trial subscription back in 2019. Nobody reads those contracts and I don’t think it’s something that should ever be included in one ever.
  23. Oddly, all the good deadly stuff is far more available over there. Here in the U.S. even Mr color paints are more of a very recent addition to basic hobby shops and even then, they’re tough to find. Other items like Tamiya polyester putty are banned. Bandai even suggests in their paint guides Mr color paints. For many years of my time working on hobbies, many of those items were unavailable. We basically only had the option between enamel or acrylic paints in all hobby shops. I don’t think that really changed until 2010 or 2015. But even now it’s a very limited thing to find lacquer paints in the U.S.
  24. The fact that they even tried to go down that route is truly troubling. Makes you wonder what other creepy things are in these subscription agreements
