absolutely beautiful. But 90 bucks for a figma before shipping. Most of the U.S. prices are between $120 and $130 before shipping and taxes. I think I need another big holiday sale to justify the purchase, but I can’t stop looking at all the detail, it’s amazing

I’m happy with my hmr and hasegawa Regults, so I’m definitely skipping this. I’m a bit curious about the zentraedi pilot though

I only heard about them a couple years ago through my daughter taking an art class. I’d used pencils and colored pencils in modeling, but hadn’t really heard of the water color pencil thing. I know AK has weathering pencils and they’re the exact same thing, but way more expensive and with far fewer colors. They’ve got all the advantages of using water colors and color pencils in one item. I wish I knew about them a couple decades ago when I would paint minis for stuff like 40k.

Looks surprisingly cool in those colors, it’s still one of my favorite hg kits of all time, even though it was a bit on the slim side.

Amazing work. I love watercolor pencils as well. They can color like paint or be as precise as a sharpened color pencil and surprisingly cheap for a full set of colors.

It’s supposed to sit inside. That’s why there are teasers that show a figure can fit. As far as the prototype shown, I’m not sure if it has joints in the pilot yet or if it’s another one of their cloth bodysuits that has armor glued on

Seems more people had luck getting the 21 than the 19. Hopefully hlj is able to get larger stock of these kits from now on

All these Japanese figures are really getting expensive. Figuarts, Figma, Mafex and the stuff from square arts are just too expensive these days. There’s a lot of stuff I like and even when I really like an item, I still hesitate over the prices. I definitely don’t like the Hasbro marvel stuff, but I kinda wish there was a middle ground on price and looks.

My daughter liked the movie that came out years ago, but I honestly don’t remember much at all from it.

Definitely have to agree. It sorta looks like they just completely copied one of their trailers, music and all. I might still check it out, but it has Kevin Hart so I’ll see if it gets any good buzz. He’s just one of those actors/ comedians that I never really cared for.

I think I’d applaud it for having the courage to bring back his lady from the first movie, even though she didn’t age as well. I can’t really think of too many movie heroes that starred in a movie with someone that seemed close to their age, even though she was still younger.

I saw this version a couple weeks ago. I still think they gotta flare his bell bottoms more and the definitely went super buff on him, all though the muscles work for a super hero kinda look. I do like his Jump in the Fire sleeveless shirt. I guess they didn’t want to have to pay extra royalties and left off his Misfits tattoo It is really cool that Metallica actually had an iconic Bass player. Not many bands had a real standout guy on the four string. And not many were as creative in the rhythm section as he was

Definitely great little kits, but I doubt that we’ll be seeing more unfortunately. So for now it’s moving slightly upscale to the 1/100 hg kits from Bandai and the rereleases from wave for small scale Macross battroid partswappers -
I guess, but they’re also running a president’s weekend sale, it takes off a little over four bucks and that brings the cost on the basic dude to under what bbts is offering before shipping.

I don’t mind the color, but I’m pretty sure that joy toy will do other chapters since it will mostly be recolors and they can reuse the molds

Saw these earlier in an email from bbts. It was a bit high in the price for the basic dude. I am glad they finally got the pointy faces. I don’t really like the snub noses in the later space marines
