  1. There’s other stuff like Vox Machina that’s more of a parody and non related fantasy stuff like the new game of thrones show and lord of the rings and Witcher and Willow. This is kinda the time to cash in while fantasy stuff is hot. A few years ago it was zombies and super heroes. Fantasy stuff seems to be the in thing right now. Hopefully some good things come from the craze
  2. You may have without realizing it. They ended up cheating in a few scenes in the later entries of the og trilogy and bought some of the mpc kits to save time for the model makers rather than scratch building all of them. I think the above is a rerelease of one of those kits if I’m not mistaken.
  3. I’m with you there. Sometimes bad movies can still be kinda fun and this looks like a train wreck, but there are things here and there that I’m kinda liking, like that chompy box, my daughter made one of those out of card paper a couple years ago IMG_0550.MOV
  4. I feel the same. At least it won’t be a loss of cash at the theater if it sucks. It’s also just a movie so it’s not like a waste of time series like obi wan
  5. I’m not going to buy these since they’re so far from the look that I want from a Mospeada toy, but I’m still curious about them. How has Moshow handled transformable toys? I know they’ve done some ripoff gundam stuff that’s non transforming, but I really haven’t paid that much attention to them, so I was just wondering about their transforming toys, or if they’ve had any.
  6. It’s like they stole a bunch of ideas from other designs
  7. Macross isn’t as popular as gundam. But the toys and kits are a quite a bit more collectible from Macross. It’s probably due to the high quality of early Macross entries. Some of those old kits and toys from Macross still hold up and the fact that there aren’t many rare gundam designs that don’t get a better version or rerelease every couple years make gundam less collectible even with the bigger popularity. Even when Macross stuff gets rereleased people buy them because the quality for a lot of those items was better than most of the classic gundam stuff. Star Wars has had quite a few improvements in toys and kits over the years, but somehow the nostalgia for the old items that were common as a kid and the destructive parents Americans had adds to the rarity of those older items. That and the brand is far bigger than either Macross or Gundam.
  8. I think the only thing making this rare is that they changed the card backing right after it came out to green
  9. I can se the interest since they are upgrading the pilot figures quite a bit and there are some of those toys that aren’t as easy to find.
  10. All my old stuff went missing, most were thrown out by my mom. My rarest items are the mid to late 90’s action figures
  11. Hmr is basically the renewal. Although they have added some new thing here and there like the smaller wings and later the upper shoulder cover. And in some pics it looks like side covers if they ever get around to the tv 1s
  12. I haven’t seen the show either. I bought a bunch of the kits including the truck and everything design wise is great. Unfortunately I haven’t heard anything good about the show
  13. I’m pretty sure those are just painted black
  14. Personally I’m not a fan of transforming kits. They usually end up being hand grenades or they make too many compromises. But I do agree about hasegawa being a bit behind the times. They are more of an aircraft model company though. They do need a better vf 1 battroid. It looks good and all, but kinda floppy and falls apart around the hips. They seem to be getting better with mecha though with each new release, but that armored one I think would look better if they did the lower legs different. Personally I don’t mind that the armor isn’t removable since the kit is pretty cheap. I think they were going the realistic route and kept the small feet and hands from their earlier battroid rather than the magically bigger hands and feet from the anime.
  15. Since the title is your rarest Star Wars item, someone might only have the most common item ever but that might be the rarest item they have
  16. Is that one of the rifles from kyoukai senki?
  17. I prefer you use the old one. It’s way more entertaining that way
  18. One of those lines that sounds far worse in the western world
  19. I’m actually surprised by them . I don’t remember them being a super great toy company other than maybe He Man back in the old days. The amber collection dinosaurs look really great, but for me after this raptor with all the crazy joints and cheap price, I’m really loving the Hammond collection. I’m also eyeballing the T. rex from the Hammond collection and it looks great for $50. It looks more like a premium figure that others would charge quite a bit more. Too bad he’s sold out at the moment, but the comic con version looks really fun with the dude on the crapper . I’m betting that’s gonna be a tough one to get cheap. Mattel really upped their game with these highly articulated dinosaurs
  20. Tried to make him look more menacing by having a vitruvian hacks skeleton riding him. I think I failed because they look like they’re having a great time together
