The clip is a part that needs a hole drilled into the side of the arm, but is included with the d type. The head forward parts are not included, but might be able to be swapped in for this and modded for a single seat. They were kind of later developed parts and might be something that they include on future releases.

Yeah, they have to cover it with tissue paper to contain the naughtiness
-
It’s almost there, but some parts will pop off if not glued. But it’s only gonna take a drop here and there and the ball joints will need thickening to really give it strength, but that just takes a little super glue over the ball peg and it should be fine with minimal effort. one thing that is easier is that the plastic is a bit softer than the Bandai kits and is far easier to clean it the nubs
-
Or that could be standard, Bandai is weird that way

Just in case his band mates forget which song to play in the heat of battle

Something I forgot to mention is that there’s a few parts that definitely need glue, there are some parts to take caution with like the white armor around the lower legs. Those panels are pretty loose and I have a feeling they’re designed to be removable for extra add ons like super parts, so those you may want to leave a little loose just in case you want to eventually add something on instead of buying an additional kit. The little circles around the ankles will probably be fine to glue in place though, those things just plop off too easily

Wake me up when we finally get to see one of those A-Hole monkey lizard things using one -
The polycaps are thick and durable, but a little on the loose side. The ones at the knee seem fine, but the ball joints at the feet and hips don’t hold weight very well as is. They don’t pop off or anything, just sag without much pressure. It’s not a problem that can’t be fixed. Just thicken the ball pegs with a coat of super glue and they should be fine. I haven’t built much else yet though and can’t say for sure on the arms or body yet. As far as Regults, the hasegawa are very poseable and surprisingly look very anime compared to their Valkyrie kits. I’d say they look pretty good paired with the plamax kits. I think Hasegawa wanted something that looked like it was constructed by aliens to set them apart from earth made mecha like they’re Valkyrie offerings. By the way Wave Destroid kits will probably look better with the Plamax kits as well

Finished the legsdefinitely need glue since some parts are very loose. The knees are pretty good with the poly caps, but the feet are a bit loose and may need a bit of thickening at the ball, but there’s not too much back and forth or side to side movement out of them. The knee gets a bit of a decent bend due to the double jointthe only seams on the entire leg is at the top around the intakes and they’re done in a way that a lazy person could just leave them alone and it will barely be noticeable

Yeah, the Monster eats putty like you wouldn’t believe.

The Hasegawa Queadluun Rau is far easier than the Imai kit. Better fitting for sure. Beware, the Monster is a beast that’s not for the faint of heart. Parts have odd fits and some parts feel like they don’t match up. It’s a real monster of a build for such a small scale kit

Sorry bro, it’s obvious from the flag that you’re not her type

I can’t really say perfect, but better than most companies for sure. The stitching is a bit obvious and a bit too fuzzy looking, but far better quality than others

I still do. There are some stages that aren’t as much fun, like filling seams. But everything else is something that I really enjoy. I love snipping little parts and fitting them together. I love painting the parts and seeing the project nearer to completion. I love putting on decals. I really have fun at the weathering stage, it’s like making a mess on purpose.

I’m not a big fan of cloth bits on action figures, but Mafex did a fairly good job with Gambit, so this will probably be decent.

Most of the colored pictures make it appear as if the main lense is a flat piece that lines up with the white outer face armor but is kinda slightly recessed where the red part is at an angle so the bottom of the red stitcks more forward ahead of the bottom of the lense and the top of the redlines up to the white armor. The lense is appears more straight in these pictures But those black and white pictures are more rounded at the edges and the lense is at a different angle where the bottom of the lense touches the bottom of the red armor at the face. It kinda gives it an odd upward tilted lense

Pretty much. I really don’t think that this news of him being ceo of wave is really gonna be anything big. It would be great if it was, but I don’t really expect much of a change. The guy has done work with many companies after Max Factory became a company many years ago and him being ceo of Wave might get him some extra clout, but I don’t think we’re getting big waves outta wave anytime soon

For a first build, you did really great. That’s definitely not a kit that I would recommend to a beginner, but if you’re gonna get into the hobby, you will probably have a much easier time after this one. A modern gundam kit almost builds itself compared to how these ancient kits went together. I’m also glad to hear that you’re planning more after this. Some people get really turned off by the amount of work it takes on these older kits. Keep up the good work and maybe soon you’ll do her big sister kit from Hasegawa.
-
Nope, sorry. Starting it tonight. Gonna start with the legs since that’s where I’m most curious about
-
this one appears to be a web exclusive and those usually include the decals. They’re also listed on the side as well.

Lot’s of good stuff coming up. I’ll definitely share some pics.
