    Doom was bad, but nothing beats that house of the dead movie. Doom made it feel like you were watching someone play a video game, House of the dead was so lazy that they literally showed someone playing the video game for the action scenes

    Looks like he went a bit extra heavy on the weathering. Although I doubt it would look very clean after ejecting the armor. It’s about time someone showed off it’s mobility though.

    A24 is one of those titles I see and feel like even though I really don’t know what’s going to happen that I feel like I knew that’s how it would play out. Kinda like a Wes Anderson thing, but usually with a tweaks violin somewhere

    That really the one thing keeping this show from being as bad as the Obi show. I’m not mad at it despite its flaws and that’s probably because they don’t have an established character that they’re ruining. There’s some serious cheese, some less than stellar acting, some terrible writing, but they haven’t trashed a major character like Boba, Obi, Vader or Lando yet. We’re still only two episodes in and at this point it could go south very easily or we might luck out and the show may end up tolerable. I doubt it will end up great and may not even be good, but by not screwing up a beloved icon, it may be one of the least offensive D+ projects

    Every time I think they’re done with the 1/18 stuff, one more pops up. I kinda wish they’d do some reprints on the actual dino’s from the Hammond collection that seemed to sell out quickly

    I kinda feel like it would not be too bad without all the decals. The back view just makes the surfaces appear more wavy. It’s also weird to see the granddaddy with an exposed spine

    It’s kinda been hitting a lot of companies, mostly smaller ones that seem to deal with out of country manufacturing lately. I just thought that in this particular case it would be a very simple release since only the head and pilot are different as far as needing new molds

    Just got that notification as well. I think the delays are pretty much every release now. Although this delay is for a kit that has one be piece and a different set of decals and a new box and I guess a new pilot figure for the series.Kinda odd for it to need a delay without a major change

    Saw the second episode and this show obviously didn’t hire very good writers. I’d still say that so far it’s not as bad as the Obi show, but not as good as the boba show, even though that one wasn’t that good either. Good twin was totally hitting on the trainee.

    I guess the bar owner only recognizes her due to the fact that she made him put railings on the second floor of his bar due to OSHA standards.

    Yeah, there’s a bit too much cereal eating that seemed highly unnecessary. At least you made it further in the series than most people. I grew up with Star Wars having very little saber fights. The flippy goofiness of the prequels was a bit over the top. I kinda liked the fighters ship battles and droids and speeder chases that felt faster than 5mph.

    I had one of the smaller ones similar to it as a kid. It was kinda around the whole ninja thing while the show was going downhill

    Some of the upcoming releases have multiple decals. Like the Max/ Kakizaki 1A. I don’t remember if the sticker only first kit had a 1A head as well, but if it does, you could use the spares on it and have one for both pilots

    I could easily see people hating Andor, if it was a review based on the first few episodes that they released. So many people never actually made it passed those and personally even I hated the show at that point. It got better mid way through the third episode and picked up as the show went on. But those first few episodes were really bad. I never read this guy’s reviews and not sure if he still hated the show after that point, but it seemed a common problem with the show even for the general audience.

    For anyone holding off on Hasegawa’s Queadluun Rau kit, it’s only $25 bucks on sale at hobbysearch.seriously, that’s a lot of plastic for a very low price

    I do have to agree there. I do however still think the award should have been for set design rather than vfx. That’s one of the odd standouts here. The cg isn’t the highlight for me . It’s the first Godzilla in a long time where I actually cared about the characters and I think that’s something lacking in films lately is just having a decent set of characters

    It’s definitely a good movie, my comment was just that it doesn’t look like best of the year material for vfx. But that doesn’t affect its worth as a watch and now that it’s streaming, I think everyone should try and check it out
