  1. I don't recall them ever having it as an option... Sure would have been convenient over the last year. I used to buy a lot from them but I haven't made a purchase since the pandemic.
  2. Hoverbike? Was that ever up for preorder? My guess is Roy will release end of this year, Dana next.
  3. I'm sure they're one of their manufacturer's smallest customers too so very much at the whim of other companies schedules.
  4. Someone mentioned this on my youtube channel. I haven't seen it in mine but I'll definitely keep an eye out.
  5. Uck... so companies aren't obligated to make money and Tatsunoko doesn't need money? Now I get why you feel their hands weren't tied. Okay for you. I agree to disagree.
  6. You're missing something here... still putting dots on the board and not connecting them so you can conclude their hands aren't tied. They go with HG because HG is the only customer... but sure, their hands aren't tied... whatever.
  7. Are you now arguing that Tatsunoko's hands ARE tied? I'm so confused by your logic. The rights are worthless to anyone but HG because anyone but HG will face lawsuits. Why does Tatsunoko keep giving the rights to HG? Because they're THE ONLY ONES that can use them.
  8. If you're going to tell me I'm wrong, you should illustrate a plausible scenario where ANYONE else could have walked away with the rights. I'm pretty comfortable with my statement that their hands were tied... Unless you think BW and Tatsunoko's time in court indicates they're on good terms... Really, it's all on HG at this point. Any new rights holder would have to overcome all the entrenching HG has done. So, until HG agrees to abandon its interests, Tatsunoko pretty much has to keep feeding the monster.
  9. Yep, looks like they listened to feedback. I'm going to grab a Fokker.
  10. I couldn't get through BvS so I never made it onto Justice League. That's why I find it so funny there's a Snyder cut of Justice League. It's like "Look at the rubbish this guy made, had he only been allowed to make one more movie, he would have gotten right!" Not sound logic.
  11. The regular release is a straight reissue right? We don't have any indication of anything different right? Edit - I'm afraid to order from AE. If I go with FJ and they want $125 for shipping, at least I can say "Nah, I'll go boat." If I go with AE and they want $125 for shipping... I don't think there's a fallback.
  12. Saying that their thirst for war is what led them to a new planet as an argument against them having a standing army doesn't seem rock solid. By anime standards, saying they needed an army because there had been lots of fighting is more than sufficient.
  13. Tasunoko's hands were tied. BW contested their rights and refused to play ball with them. HG had worked on the property since the first deal and was legally entrenched so no one could do anything with the rights but them. Bandai could wag the dog but they have been content to work with BW.
  14. I'll go to FJ and put it on a boat.
  15. I think Robotech fans were so hungry for new content they started making broader back stories and new interpretations of tertiary mecha to sate their hunger. Most knew it was for fun but some got a little too invested in the exercise.
  16. Convert it into a game for Android!
  17. I imagine there was more conversations for that since it involves some strange stuff.
  18. Even that implies too much involvement. They didn't pay anyone anything. They will make some sliver of profits but it's not like they proposed the game maker work on this project. I bet the rights for the games have been maintained but beyond that, they probably only receive emails about it.. they're not actively doing anything. They get notified so they can help hype things (and thus earn their nickels) but that's about it.
  19. Again, I would also point out that HG had nothing to do with making a video game or releasing it at any point any where. HG doesn't make anything... really.
  20. Close to zero percent. There's only been one production run so unless Arcadia handled these for some reason, they're the same crapshoot as all the other ones that have been sold.
  21. Guys, HG isn't a video game company, they have nothing to do with video games except the nickel they earn when someone else makes a game for the license. They have nothing to do with any of these decisions.
  22. Lol, where do you live? In the US at least, both terms were frequently used as racial slurs and are quite clearly frowned upon to the point of "where's your proof?" is like asking for someone to prove water is wet. Apparently though, someone did compile a list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ethnic_slurs
  23. If anyone has some Macross goods they would want to trade for a DX Voltron, I still haven't opened my previous reissue.
